A third DISSIDIA is rumoured to be in development

The latest issue of Famitsu Weekly contains a feature discussing rumours, among them are FINAL FANTASY X-3 and a third DISSIDIA FINAL FANTASY game.

 

The likely platforms for these titles (should they be real) would be the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.

I'm guessing that Dissidia's New Game will be another prequel before 012/Duodecim since 012 has confirmed the last Cycle of Dissidia series unless that i'm wrong about it if they make a New Refresh Cycle.

I remember Nomura saying that any new Dissidia game will occur before the last cycle just like Dissidia 012

I'd love to see characters like Sazh, Noel, Caius, Princess Ashe, Balthier, Barret, Vincent, Zack, Auron, Wakka.

Me too,though previous cycles would mean characters from the past.

 

As for the characters I wanna see in the upcoming Dissidia:

 

FFIV: Rydia

 

FFVI:Celes and Sabin

 

FFVII:Zack and Genesis

 

FFVIII:Seifer

 

FFIX:Vivi or Steiner

 

FFX:Seymour

 

FFXII:Basch or Ashe

 

XIII-2:Serah and Caius Ballad

I would love for there to be a third Dissidia game. If it's a prequel like Dissidia 012, there's bound to be more characters in the game.

 

Here's a list of new (and side switched) characters I'd like to see:

 

FFVII - Aerith (for Cosmos (as an actual playable character))

           Yuffie (for Cosmos)

 

FFVIII - Rinoa (for Cosmos)

 

FFIX - Zidane (for Chaos (given his original purpose in FFIX was to be a planet destroyer))

          Garnet/Dagger (for Cosmos (I can see her trying to help Zidane like haw Yuna tried to help Tidus in Dissidia 012))

          Vivi (for Cosmos (just because))

 

FFX - Auron (for Cosmos)

 

FFX-2 - Shuyin (for Chaos)

 

FFXIII - Snow (for Cosmos)

            Hope (for Cosmos)

            Sazh (for Cosmos)

            Vanille (for Cosmos)

            Fang (for Cosmos)

            Serah (for Cosmos (she has her FFXIII-2 weapon and her EX outfit is her FFXIII-2 clothes))

 

FFXIII-2 - Noel (for Cosmos)

               Caius (for Chaos)

A new Dissidia would be great. They were some of the best time sinks. If they could add Sora that would be great, but it is a Final Fantasy game (I do know it was supposed to be Kingdom Hearts). While this is nothing but a rumor I really do hope they make another one.
