I might actually be the only one who is ever going to say this but I prefer the original Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance graphics over the newer looking graphics. I'm not saying that the new graphics are bad, I just hope that they give me the same feelings as the original graphics did. Will they be able to pull off the funny emotions that show showed like when he makes the goofy faces as Riku or even Cerberus back in the Underworld? Another thing was that I always thought that the graphics is what KH so unique, its starting to look more like Final Fantasy (which is still a good thing I guess...). But still, the graphics won't change how I feel about Kingdom Hearts overall!

- I'm a very picky Kingdom Hearts Fan... -

The new ones are cool, but I'm a bit worried as to how they'll get it to work with the cutscenes. It looks cartoony, I'm curious about how it'll work for the serious moments. xD I'll wait until we get a story trailer to judge, though.

I like the new graphics. To me they seem like the old graphics, just a lot more polished

what you mean by original DDD graphics, do you mean the original KH graphics in general?

I was getting sick of the cheap polygons in the older graphics screwing up. Seriously. in DDD if you look at Riku's arms and shoulders move they're a whole bump and jumble or polygons coming together...

The only problem I had with the newer graphics was that Sora looked too orange and his face looks so airbrushed that front view his nose looked flat

ITS NOT NATURAL SORA.

Mentioning that and looking at this it looks so airbrushed any part where a joint connects or bone sicks out looks so airbrushed it's like when someone has their first crack at digital art and blends blends blends.

I don't have a problem with how Kingdom Hearts III will look visually. It was intended to look like what it will be since the first game in the series, but the PS2 and presumably the PS3 were not capable.

I want to go with the excuse that they wanted to make Sora look older.

I think it will look like the CGI cutscenes of kh2..only that will be how it looks in gameplay instead of just pre-rendered cutscenes at the end and start of the game. By the appearance of sora's clothing, etc in the trailers we have, it looks like that's what they are aiming for.

it's still in beta right now remember

Not much to say on this matter. So far l Iike the graphics a bit blochy here and there and a bit to to blended. But it is a beta. It's going to change and look far better. In example have you guys seen kh1 beta trailer.

It does look bad though.  You can use better graphics and still made harder lines between joints and jutting bone.  It honestly looks like they took a step backwards and just made it bright, the DDD graphics did look better cause there was actual definition and it didn't look like a tween's first go at photoshopping her picture where 14 filters are applied and airbrushed til it's creepy

You have to realize that that was an early build so they might make the graphics up to your standards soon. personally it looks amazing to me but to each their own.

I do realize that it's a beta trailer.  That doesn't mean I can't point out it's flaws.  Over blending didn't make it better, extreme white washing and orange-ing of his skin tone in an attempt to give the impression of the sun beating off him didn't come out well.  Overall he has less actual detail than he has done in previous games on hardware that's meant to be inferior to the PS4/Xbone's capabilities.  I look forward to KH3 but hope they severely improve on what they showed.  The artwork picture they produced after showcasing the detail has more definition in their structure than the alpha trailer did.  Hopefully when they get to know the hardware and software more they'll overcome that issue before the game is released.
