Talk About Your Strange Habits!

Recommended Posts

I talk to myself a lot. It's kinda starting to get out of hand so I'm a bit worried xDI also make some weird (not human) noises when I'm at home, it's kinda turning into a language now since I sometimes use those noises to respond to questions xDOccasionally I practice fighting. Since my imagination is well developed I can pretty much imagine myself fighting another person, this helps me think about when and how to block and (when I'm in a bad mood) I punch or kick the walls in my room o-o

One of my other strange habits is constantly checking that all of my electronic equipment or any other equipment in the house is turned off before I go to bed.  I wouldn't call it a strange habit, but I need to always make sure that everything is off so disaster doesn't strike.  Maybe I'm just paranoid that way, but yeah, I really need to get rid of this particular habit.  Oh well, what can you do? xD

I'm kinda like that too, if I ever see a light or fan being on (basically electricity just being wasted) i HAVE to turn it off

Let's put it this way, it's highly unlikely that you'll find someone with cleaner hands than me. I wash my hands whenever they "feel dirty" and use hand sanitizer. Actually, that's counterintuitive. You're not supposed to use hand sanitizer as often as I do because it kills off the good bacteria too, but eh....I can't help it.

Whenever I watch something, I always make commentary to the people around me on what i think. I don't try to do it, my brain kinda just shuts off and dose it.

When I want to do well in my lacrosse games, I wear a specific sports bra. No clue why I deemed it good luck but I did o-o At least it's better than wearing the same pair of socks and never washing them or anything. Yuck x'D

I also draw the Fairy Tail guild symbol under my left forearm as well as Luffy's scratch mark on my left thumb before every practice and game. Every time I look at them I say "I've got a fire in my belly!" or "I'm gonna be king of the pirates!"

Yup. I'm a strange cookie.

Let's see...

I have a tendency to quadruple check to make sure I have everything before I leave the house. And even then I check throughout the day to make sure everything's still in my pockets.

Also, after seeing Axel scratch his head all the time in Days, I kinda made that into one of my own habits xP Granted, I don't do that as much anymore, but it was still a thing.

I also tap my feet or drum on things with my fingers a lot, especially in school. I think one time I was doing it during a band rehearsal, and the director told me to stop by saying that it wasn't a percussion lesson.

Another habit of mine has to do with even numbers.  For example, when I write my stories, I make each chapter 12 paragraphs long, and only rarely do I make more than that, although as long as it ends on an even number, I'm good to go.  Also, when I go offline, I always make sure to go offline at a even number, example: 11:00pm, 11:10pm, etc.  I don't know why I have such a thing for even numbers, but I guess I just do.  Like for instance, I said Undertaker's last match would be at WrestleMania 30, an even number, mind you!  But he didn't end up having 22-0...he lost, so yeah, he stayed 21-1.  That's an uneven number! xD  But anyways, you all get what I'm saying, right? xD

One habit I have is with video games, it falls by a case by case, but most of the time I'll play a game like the first hour or so to get the feel for it... then I'd restart it the next morning...and on some cases I'd play the first few hours again. With enslaved I played the first part TONS of times. I have to finish a game (If American game) within a day or at most a weekend. Why? Because I used to go to a boarding school and I could only play games on a weekend, and if I can't...I don't know...I've always been able to finish most games in a weekend. If it is a Japanese game which is usually a lot longer or an RPG then I'll play that, and only that until I finish like... persona 3. lastly I pretty much only play games if I know I have at least 4 or 5 hours of free time... If I have an hour or two to play a game I won't do it or it would have to be an episodic (walking dead, phoenix wright) or really short game. Mostly I'll play a game for 7 or 8 hours straight.
