I'm hoping the sudden rise in popularity could mean an overseas release. I do agree that there are fans outside of Japan that like Dragon Quest but it's just not popular or big enough in other regions. A lot of other countries outside of Japan prefer to play FPS/Sports games than an JRPG. It's a little sad, I know. But it's sadly the truth FINAL FANTASY and Kingdom Hearts have their biggest markets in North America. Dragon Quest or Dragon Warrior is just different.
