Sorual 607 Posted March 25, 2014 I'm not talking about the first one you've ever laid eyes on becouse for 90% of you it's probably pokemon. I'm talking about the first one to make you feel awesome and actually remember is something special. It could be pokemon but only if it meets that criteria. Mine is zatch bell. The most under appreciated anime ever! It's a bit on the young side and doe sent compare with fairy tail by any means but it's AMAZING!!!! Just look into it. It's awesome! Sadly the dub stoped like 2/3 into the anime and even the Japanese didn't finish the manga. Nvm. What's your first? 1 Weedanort reacted to this

Dio Brando 5,810 Posted March 25, 2014 (edited) It's hard to say I've watched a lot of anime when I was a kid so I'm not sure which one is my first But I can at least put some of the first animes I've ever watched. Grendizer And Igano Kabamaru(one of the funniest anime I've ever watched) Yyyyeah,I'm a bit old(23 or 24 as of now) so I saw a lot of old stuff during the 90's Edited March 25, 2014 by Metal Snake

KHUndertaleFan25 2,858 Posted March 25, 2014 (edited) I think when i was younger (i know i was younger), i used to watched Dragon Ball Z Kai (which is true) with my brother Danny. However, i didn't know about the term otaku (a person going into anime, which i was and had become) and anime (the term for what Dragon Ball Z Kai was, which i didn't know about), since i was only 6. Now i watch Hetalia, which was the one anime that made me happy . Edited March 25, 2014 by PrincessHearts25
『R』 570 Posted March 25, 2014 It was Pokemon and Naruto (I stop watching pokemon )
Pangoro "Sen" 445 Posted March 25, 2014 Well, in terms of the first episode of an anime that I've ever watched, that'd be Pokemon or Yugioh. In terms of the first anime that actually got me into anime/first anime I've ever watched completely, then that'd be Soul Eater. 1 Sorual reacted to this

AnHeiressofaSOLDIER 358 Posted March 25, 2014 The original magical girl, Sailor Moon, of course. I love that series so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without it. After that, it was Tenchi (Muyo, Universe, and Tokyo), Cardcaptor Sakura, Pokémon etc. Oh, those great years I spent growing up with Toonami... 1 Nora Valkyrie reacted to this
Dark Goddess 13 Posted March 25, 2014 The first anime I watched was Soul Eater, then Fullmetal Alchemist. I watched them dubbed, then I watched Elfen Lied in sub.
Isamu Kuno 2,512 Posted March 25, 2014 (edited) Either DBZ or Sailor Moon, whichever was in the earlier time slot back when Toonami started at 4pm back in the 90's. Both made an impact. They were not only the first I ever saw, they were the ones that got me interested in anime, inspired me to start drawing, which I found I have quite a talent for, and made me want to make a carrier out of it, in fact I still draw a lot of inspiration from them today. While I still have a long way to go to start a career in writing/drawing manga, and that dream may never actually come to fruition, I don't think it would be unfair to say that those anime changed my life, because they gave me a goal. All this at the age of 5 or so Edited March 25, 2014 by Isamu_Kuno 1 Nora Valkyrie reacted to this

JTD95 1,107 Posted March 25, 2014 I remember watching a lot of Yu-Gi-Oh GX on YouTube when I was younger. However, the anime I probably view as my first anime is Clannad. That was the first anime I sat down and watched all the way through.

xoblivionx13 1,133 Posted March 25, 2014 Soul Eater was the first anime I ever saw. You can imagine how scarred I was after watching Blair in the first episode x'D I actually never got into anime until October almost November of my senior year in high school....so I've only watched anime for about a year owo
ZefiroTera47 50 Posted March 25, 2014 Digimon Adventure 1, after that there was Fushigi Yugi. First japanese voiced anime was Naruto (the first episode I watched was 104, in slow motion)
Snow 1,800 Posted March 25, 2014 That first anime would have to be Bleach. I'd stay up late just to watch it on adultswim and my parents would get worried when I started waking up at noon. The first anime I laid eyes on, that I can remember, was InuYasha, but it was my sister's thing and I only liked it for the demon ass-kicking. 1 Ben G reacted to this
