rikunobodyxiii 700 Posted October 7, 2014 "It's been a student driver thus far." Annistha answered Gaku. "Though, we would vote for a more experienced flyer. You had much experience in piloting?" As Annistha chatted, both she and her brother considered the ramifications of this splinter group having interest and access to obscure tech and magic. They were at least thoughtful in they're planning, if delusional. Annistha hoped that some could be reasoned with. The more pessimistic Zale had doubts. Plus, the more that saw reason, the less he had to bash.
Arya Stark 1,337 Posted October 11, 2014 Ember shook her head again. "Nope. You'll be fine." Ember insisted. The first step to solving this problem was belief. Brooklyn needed to understand that he could be fine, that he could keep himself under control. And Ember would not hesitate to push that on him. "You are Brooklyn, not a monster. You are you, a hero that wouldn't let the darkness control you. I have no doubts, and you shouldn't either." Ember smoothly stood on her tiptoes and kissed him on the cheek for a brief second. "Now come on, let's go! You don't want to be left behind do you?" She said, turning and beginning to skip away. Brooklyn wouldn't see it, but she was blushing hard. [Land of Dragons] For Ghost, It took every bit of discipline instilled in him thanks to the instructor not to squeal out of sheer cuteness as he quietly watched the whole spectacle between Ember and Brooklyn. Sure, he had Rei who was always more than happy to show her affection, but the Sentinel-in-Training was always a sucker for romance between others. WIih the hotshot now making his way to the Highwind, Ghost started his way towards The Overwatch, until a sudden thought occurred to him. He whipped out his communicator and hailed his instructor. "Hey Striker, how about I pilot the Highwind this time around? Ever since the previous landing, I figured that they need someone familiar with piloting." On the other side of the radio, Striker was reading some magazines that are... shall we say, not suited for minors. Upon hearing his student over the radio, the instructor was a little reluctant to have the student pilot the legendary craft. "Well... if you say so then. Just remember that the controls might not be as updated as what you're used to in the Overwatch. Have fun!" With authorization granted, Ghost made his way inside the Highwind. "Sure beats looking at images in textbooks back at the academy," he mumbled while ascending the loading ramp. After soaking in the sights and exploring the ship, Ghost made his way to the cockpit and promptly strapped himself into the pilot seat. "Say hello to your new pilot," the Sentinel-in-training remarked as he brought the ship online.
Shulk 8,623 Posted October 11, 2014 Indy made his way into the Gummi Ship, and was surprised to see that Ghost was in the pilot's seat. "You're going to pilot the Highwind this time? That should make this flight a lot smoother." He grinned, glad that their new pilot had a lot more experience than he did. "If you're going to be pilot, I'd suggest having Phones be co-pilot." Allitt recommended as she entered with her brother. "He seems to know quite a bit about our next destination. It would help a lot to have him join you in the cockpit for this trip." She went further back into the ship, and found a seat in the lounge area. "These ships are a lot... cozier than I'd expected." She muttered. "Well, if we're going to have so many students all in one ship, it needs some way to hold everyone." Indy sat next to her. "The Highwind is nothing compared to what we saw of Instructor Striker's ship, though." "As long as it gets us to our destination, I don't really care about the details." Allitt sighed. "This thing had better be fast enough to get us to the next world in time to catch up to the organization."

I should go check the cockpit Gaku thought. Walking towards the cockpit, he heard Allitt, Indy, and Ghost discussing about the next destination. After making sure everyone was on board the Highwind, Ghost took the ship to the skies. Easing on the throttle, the Sentinel-in-training slowly accelerated the ship until it was out of the world and once again in the lanes-between. To the front and right of the Highwind was the triangular Overwatch, vigilantly staying in formation. Ghost know all weapons aboard the ship were armed and primed, and the instructor's reassurance over the radio confirmed his beliefs. "Overwatch to Highwind, Just focus on flying in a straight line as smoothly as you can. Striker Four is active and on-station." Knowing that his instructor was armed and ready to react to anything, Ghost breathed a sigh of easiness and set the Highwind into autopilot.

Refer to Harmony's bio, but don't mention her name) Gaku threw his hands up in the air as Ghost laughed his butt off. "Great. . . Stuck with 'Phones.' What's next? Someone tackles me to the ground when I walk into a coffee shop?" Gaku groaned. He sat back down on the Co-pilot's seat and listened in as Ghost tries to contact Master Sora and Riku. (Aw crap, forgot about that. I've been trying to do quick posts since I'm still finishing up my work. Also, dat foreshadow.) Riku quickly resonded to Ghost's message. "Master Riku to Highwind. Did you find any leads on the organization?" He asked Ghost. "Our search for the member that your instructor brought us is still ongoing. We hope that you're having more luck than we are." 1 Kaneki Ken reacted to this
Javelin434 3,164 Posted October 12, 2014 "Thanks for leaving me and Ember behind, Ghost." Brooklyn said in the comm. He sighed, bringing the ship to speed after Ember got in. Take off, up to the sky, the engine roared in the sky as he caught back up to the rest of the team. We hope that you're having more luck than we are." [Highwind] Poking around at the controls in the cockpit of the Highwind, GHost was having a fun time exploring the ship a little until Brooklyn's voice caught his attention over the radio. "Thanks for leaving me and Ember behind, Ghost." the hotshot remarked, and before the student could reply back, Striker's voice cackled through. "Don't worry, I'll just report you as gunned down and missing in action." "Hahaha, that's pretty harsh, Striker Four. I didn't ditch ya Brooklyn, I just thought maybe you could use some real alone time with ol' Ember. Besides, you got your own ship. Like I really need to worry..." "New signature detected. Six o' clock, No IFF tags, but something tells me it's the hotshot's ship." Right on cue, the Highwind's radar bleep as it picked up Brooklyn's ship, but Ghost looked out the cockpit glass just to be safe. With visual confirmation, it was now that Riku's voice came through the Highwind radio. "Master Riku to Highwind. Did you find any leads on the organization? Our search for the member that your instructor brought us is still ongoing. We hope that you're having more luck than we are." Immediately, Ghost reached for the mic. "Affirmative, master. We found Allitt on-world of Land of Dragons and confronted her. She's with us now, and gave us some leads. Currently heading toward the world called Shibuya, with intentions to find the other members." With the message relayed, Ghost patiently waited for the master's response and hoped that his Instructor wouldn't have to be called in once again to take away Allitt.
