"Alright, I have an idea, but I don't know how you'll feel about it..." Brooklyn yelled over to Indy after he joined them.

"What's the idea?" Indy shouted back, feeling nervous again.

"We build up momentum as we dash from place to place, then you throw me into the ball of energy so that I may explode it before it can be fired." Brooklyn yelled. "Unless you want the glory of it?"

"Who's the one getting blown up, mind you?" Brooklyn yelled, building momentum up as fast as he could as he still cut and dealt damage.

Raidyn / Toshi

 

Raidyn jumped back on a solid structure, that being the shoulder of the Thorn, and called back to his teammates:

 

"Hey, Brooks, Indy, wait a second! This is my show too remember?!" Raidyn said.

 

"R-Raidyn, maybe we just leave this to Brookyln and Indy!" Toshi called back, worried that Raidyn might be overexerting himself.

 

"Don't worry about it, I'll be fine! I don't think that I'll let Brooks explode himself either!" Raidyn said.

 

He then gripped Shockwave with both hands and zipped towards his friend Brookyln, keeping up with him as he sped through the thorns. "So where do I come in in this step of the master plan?"

I've got to get close enough to that thing to toss you in to it!" Indy realized that the two were now close enough for him to toss Brooklyn up. "Alright, let's hope this works!" He grabbed Brooklyn's arm, and managed to toss him up towards the giant sphere. "Good luck!" He shouted back up, as he dove off a spike, and stabbed the Twilight Thorn's head with his fiery Keyblade once again.

 

"Alright!" Brooklyn shot at the orb.

Raidyn / Toshi

"When you catch up to my Keyblade, put your energy into it and push my Keyblade all the way through the body of the blast!"

Indy was surprised by Brooklyn's decision to toss Raidyn even closer to the attack. "I thought our goal here was to not get anyone killed..." He muttered.

"You come in here and now!" Brooklyn yelled, throwing his Keyblade to the bomb, he whipped himself around, and when Raidyn was near him, he grabbed Raidyn's Keyblade and threw him strait at the bomb. "When you catch up to my Keyblade, put your energy into it and push my Keyblade all the way through the body of the blast!"

"Whoa! Er, rodger that!" Raidyn said as he was being launched straight into the orb.

Train Station group

 

Attacking the Twilight Thorn's head clearly angered it. It thrashed around, wildly slamming its limbs into whatever it could find, trying to hit the Keyblade Wielders. In its anger, it also attempted to attack the cloaked girl.

 

Annistha jumped and rolled to avoid the Twilight Thorn's wild attacks, getting in a few more volleies from her gunblade and Ruin spells. She was in a crouch, preparing to spring for the Nobody's arm when she saw attacks getting dangerously close to the prisoner.

"Great." She breathed.

She ran and flipped through the attacks and ended in front of the cloaked girl.

[Nexus Shift]

Zale brought his Keyblade and gunblade, now in blade mode, up as the Thorn's hand swept towards him and the prisoner. He hated doing this, but used that hate to fuel his darkness. Yelling at the top of his lungs, he struck at up with his blades, knocking the Nobody's massive hand out of its path. Once the hand was with drawn, Zale took some labored breaths.

"Will someone behead this thing, already!" He managed to shout.

[Train Station]

 

Saying that Instructor Striker was furious at the Twilight Thorn would be quite the understatement as he reloaded the dual rifles in his hands and started a slow, menacing walk towards his enemy. His head slightly tilted toward the ground and a gaze that seemed to perfectly communicate his indescribable rage, the instructor threw away all thoughts of "let the students take care of this so they can learn" mentality and latched the rifles onto his back, then summoned his keyblade. I'll never get used to using a single blade... It feels naked.

 

Hearing Zale's pleas to end the battle prompted the instructor to take the initiative as he lowered his right arm while still walking toward the thorn, sparks trailing behind the weapon as he got closer to the enemy. Walking past Ghost, the student was at a loss of words as he tried not to feel incompetent. Realizing what he was about to do, the student recalled his flying keyblade, then stood next to the unconscious cloaked woman that Joel and Zion took care of not too long ago. With the thorn rampaging towards both him and the instructor, he saw Striker immediately bolting off to the side and starting his attack, running in a calculating zig-zag pattern to barely avoid a counterattack as he readied his weapon for an unusual strike...

The battle had been going on for quite a bit, and the Thorn was still being a nuisance.

Tch, Joel thought. This thing sure is a pain. Joel aimed his Keyblade at the behemoth's head, but it noticed and avoided the Strike Raid. Dangit! We need to finish this quickly...

Raidyn

 

"Aaaaalright, here I come!!" Raidyn cried as he sped ever faster towards the orb. He caught up Brooklyn's Black Tempest and grabbed a hold of it with his free hand.

 

"Okay, I got it. Now then--" Raidyn gripped the handle of the unfamiliar Keyblade in his hand and charged it with his Thunder element. He did the same with Shockwave, and the two Keyblades became encased with electricity. "Brooklyn said to charge his Keyblade for him, but hey, might as well do it to mine too!"

 

Raidyn finally reached the orb and with all his force he punctured it with the teeth of both Shockwave and Black Tempest. Holding himself steady on the orb with his feet, He could feel the electricity surge from the blades directly into the orb's core. Gritting his teeth, he pushed them both in even further, until they shot directly inside the orb. The electricity then crackled and popped from the inside, until the Twilight Thorn's orb was no more and exploded! Raidyn covered himself to help shave some off pain from the impact, but it still hurt like nobody's business as he plummeted down in the air, Shockwave and Black Tempest falling towards him.

 

"Well... ow," was all Raidyn could say as he quickly re-summoned Shockwave and used its teeth to latch onto a nearby Thorn that had been flying nearby. He rode the Thorn back to the ground, making a shaky stop before barrell rolling off the thing and hitting the ground hard. For the first time in a long time, Raidyn was out of energy.

 

"I guess... the show's gonna need to go on without me for now..." Raidyn panted, too tired to even get out one of his Potions as he lay sprawled out on the grass.

 

(Wow, I really took the ball and ran with that didn't I? )

Raidyn's attack caused the orb of energy to become unstable. It exploded in the sky, catching the Twilight Thorn in the blast. The Twilight Thorn thrashed about wildly, trying to escape the blast, and trying to inflict damage on Raidyn and the others. However, the damage inflicted upon it was too much, and it quickly faded away...

 

"Geez... That took way longer than it should have." Indy sighed in relief. "Is everyone okay?" He asked, looking around at his teammates. "If we all are, I say we head out to the train station to meet with the others. If we had to deal with this thing, they might be in trouble, too. Come on!" He began to run off towards the train station.

 

Train station:

 

The Twilight Thorn kept its focus on Striker. It shot thorns at the instructor, but was not fast enough to hit him. Out of frustration, it shifted its gaze towards Joel. The beast swiped an arm in Joel's direction, intending to knock him off his feet.

The Twilight Thorn kept its focus on Striker. It shot thorns at the instructor, but was not fast enough to hit him. Out of frustration, it shifted its gaze towards Joel. The beast swiped an arm in Joel's direction, intending to knock him off his feet.

"Actually, it only felt like an eternity. Our adrenaline speeds up our mental awareness level and our consept of time is sped up as well." Brooklyn corrected. "Though we did take five more minutes than we should have, honestly." He muttered, following Indy.

Toshi / Raidyn

 

"Oh no! Raidyn!" Toshi cried as she witnessed Brooklyn and Raidyn's plan go into action. As Raidyn was falling to the ground, Toshi was carefully leaping down from the thorns to meet him. By the time she landed on ground level, Raidyn was already sprawled out and ready to pass out.

 

Toshi ran up to Raidyn and raised Protector in the air. "Cure!" She chanted, restoring Raidyn to his full health. "There. Are you alright now?" She said, kneeling down by Raidyn's side.

 

Raidyn sat up and rubbed his head. "Geez... haven't felt pain like that since that one training accident..." Raidyn stood up, with Toshi following his movements. "Thanks Toshi. You really came for me there."

 

"T-thank you... but, I wish I could have been more useful," Toshi said, blushing at Raidyn's gratitude.

 

"Eh, its fine. You did enough. I'm sure you'll get your own spotlight sure enough," Raidyn said, smiling wide with Toshi returning his smile for one of her own.

 

Raidyn then heard Indy ask if everybody was all right. Before he could answer, Indy and Brooklyn were already heading to the train station to help out the other students. 

 

"Come on Toshi lets follow them! Hop on my back!" Raidyn asked, crouching down a little and spreading his arms out. Toshi blushed even more at his proposal.

 

"What? W-why Raidyn?" She asked. Raidyn explained that since he'd be using his super speed to get to the train station, he didn't want to leave her behind. And although he proposed the idea, he himself was clearly nervous about it as well, his cheeks colored a lighter shade of red than Toshi's.

 

"J-Just think of it as me owing you for being my healing partner," He shakily said. Toshi nodded and climbed on Raidyn's back.

 

With each of their grips locked on to another, Raidyn sped off to Indy and Brooklyn, leaving a trail of sparks behind.

Annistha took control and started firing her gunblade at the Twilight Thorn, still aiming for its head. She held back on using spells after Zale's stunt. Both of them needed to recharge a little. Luckily, they still remembered how to reclaim some energy while in battle.

"Next big threat to the worlds, we get the minions." She quipped as she shot at the huge nobody.

Just as the narrator had foretold, the Thorn aimed an attack at Joel. What did I even do?! Joel cried in his head. He managed to dodge the attack, but the force of the strike blew him back a bit. Fortunately, he managed to recover.

"Let's see how you like this!" Joel cast Gravity on the Twilight Thorn's arm, sending it crashing into the ground and rendering it immovable. "That'll teach ya!" Hopefully this will help out the others, Joel thought.

[Twilight Town: Train Station]

 

Just as our narrator had said, the attacks made by the Twilight Thorn were unremarkably slow for the raging instructor as he barely managed to dodge each incoming thorn screaming his way. Unfortunately for him, dodging the attack slowed his momentum towards the enemy, and he was too close to call off the attack and turn around. As the Thorn shifted its attention to Joel, the Striker had a sudden realization for what he could do. Eyeing the building behind the thorn, the instructor brazenly sprinted underneath the creature just as it swiped at one of the students, running past it and executing his new attack. Like something out of a cheap low budget movie, the instructor impacted the residential hotel and started running up the wall, aided by a little battle magic as his keyblade trailed sparks along the wall. Just before reaching the very top of the side of the building, the instructor poured all his energy into making one final, powerful leap, shooting him straight into the air high above the battlegrounds. 

 

This battle must end... the instructor thought, taking a deep breath all while slowly turning around and eyeing the head of the Thorn. His momentum slowed, then stopped as he gripped his keyblade tightly. With the lethal tip of the weapon aimed at the Thorn's head, as Striker started to fall back towards the battleground below, he shifted his body to assist the downward descent. Now falling faster than normal, the instructor could only hope the Thorn wouldn't dodge the hyper-lethal attack...

Thanks to the attacks from Annistha and Joel, the Twilight Thorn was too distracted to move out of the way of Striker's attack. The Keyblade tore through the Twilight Thorn's head. The Twilight Thorn was motionless, and slowly faded away. As this happened, the other group finally reached the clock tower. "Is everything okay here?" Indy asked, gripping his Keyblade to prepare for a battle. He scanned the area, and noticed the cloaked girl near the station itself. "Who's that girl?" He asked, curious. "And why is she unconscious?"
