Raidyn

 

"I got a better idea, Brooks!" Raidyn called, dashing towards his orange haired schoolmate and putting his Black Tempest back in his hand. "You can have this back, and--" Raidyn then grabbed the Burning Ambition from Brooklyn and threw it back to Indy. He didn't have time for him to just will it back to him nor the same for Brooklyn.

 

"New rule: everybody keeps their own Keyblades in check. Oh yeah, and like I said earlier--" Raidyn said, zipping high into the air and above the Twilight Thron's head. "This is my show!" 

 

Now to test out my new move. It'll probably drain my magic "gauge" though... well, here goes nothing!

 

"Thunder Tornado!" He cried, aiming his Keyblade downwards as he spun his entire body into a furious projectile that launched straight into the Twilight Thorn's head. After his teeth were injected in the enemy, he turned himself in the air, the sound of metal churning against white flesh as the teeth emitted Thunder magic that spread throughout the large monster's being.

 

Raidyn then jumped off the beast and landed back on ground level with his friends. "That ougtha do it," He breathed, already feeling slight exhaustion after releasing that much energy at once.

 

(Now NO MORE SHENANIGANS. Alright? Alright. Good.)

"And to make sure of it..." Brooklyn flipped into the air himself after Raidyn's strike, and dove down with his own keyblade. "Specialty attack: Stab Radiance!" A green light glowed from Brooklyn as he dove, stabbing hard into the Nobody, and even piercing through its body, a green light followed as he lances through, and then ended up on the floor, his blade making a slight crack in the ground. He had lanced through the nobody from its head down, and then a green light exploded into the area. Once it cleared, the damage to the team, as well as their exaustion lifted, however, the Nobody was still gravely injured. "Ember, hit it!"

Toshi / Raidyn

 

"Raidyn, are you alright?" Toshi said, running up to her fallen comrade as he now sat on one knee, his Shockwave dispelled.

 

"Yeah... just a little tired is all," He said, pantly.

 

"Y-You're tired?" She asked.

 

"Yeah, yeah, I know. Big shocker isn't it?" He joked, causing Toshi to giggle. "But seriously, I need to get back in the action. You got any Ethers on you?"

 

"Well, yes, I do," Toshi said, taking a small blue cube from her pocket and handing it to Raidyn. The blonde took the cube and tossed it above his head, letting it pop in the air and rain down on him in blue sparkles; his felt his magic energy restore, but only by so much. He at least had more than half his energy back.

 

"Okay, now I'm ready to get back in the game!" Raidyn said, hopping back to his feet and re-summoning Shockwave.

"On it!" Ember exclaimed. She was onto the creature in a second. She sliced through the left arm of the Twilight Thorn. As she recovered in midair, she realized that they wanted to see something a little showier. Ember grinned at that notion. If they wanted a show, then she'd give them a show. "Blizzard Squall!" She called out. A flurry of snow and ice surrounded the young ninja. Several shards of ice shot out from the storm surrounding her, and froze the Nobody. Blurs of motion were seen all around, as well as snow and hail hitting the enemy at full force. It all came to a halt in a sudden. No more ice, wind, snow, or motion blurs. The ice that had frozen through the Nobody at it's elbows, feet, chest, and head, all cracked slightly, then exploded in another fury of snow. Through the snow, Ember swung widely, slicing down in an attack that would slice it in half.

Lucas watched as the others attacked the twilight thorn. Wow, these guys work so well together. I wish i could be as skilled as they are. But what am i thinking? Now's not the time for that.

 

He ran back up towards the Twilight thorn and quickly did dash attacks zig zagging across the left arm and finished with a blitz attack to the head. He then landed on solid ground again. "Hey, you guys notice how this thing hasn't been attacking us at all? What's up with that?"

Mansion group

 

Indy caught his Keyblade. "Thanks!" he shouted up to Raidyn. I can't let them all take the spotlight... I don't want to be remembered as the guy here who just stood by and did nothing. He began to run up to the Twilight Thorn, but it countered everyone else's attacks. Thorns shot out from all over the Twilight Thorn's body, all attempting to impale the Keyblade wielders attacking the Nobody. Crap! Indy dodged most, but a few scraped past him, damaging his shoulder and knee. "Flare Blitz!" He shouted, as his Keyblade seemed to ignite, the blade completely engulfed in flames. He continued dodging spikes, ran up one of it's arms, and stabbed into its face. The thorn attack stopped immediately after his attack, but the beast was clearly still alive. "Is everyone alright?" Indy asked the others.

 

Train Station Group

 

The area outside of the station seemed fairly calm. However, when everyone had evacuated, another Twilight Thorn leaped down from the top of the station, glaring at the others. It swept its arm along the ground, trying to knock everyone off balance.

Indy asked the others.

 

Train Station Group

 

The area outside of the station seemed fairly calm. However, when everyone had evacuated, another Twilight Thorn leaped down from the top of the station, glaring at the others. It swept its arm along the ground, trying to knock everyone off balance.

"With my heal, everyone should be. Alright, time to finish this." Brooklyn slashed hard through the ankles of the beast as fast as possible, a moment later, he tore up to the head of the creature, combing it's head with fury of incredibly fast strikes, he then dropped down and grabbed the zipper of the creature, then stabbing it multitudes of times, immeasurable numbers of times, damaging even more heavily.

Mansion group

Lucas got hit by the TT and fell onto his feet, and quickly summoned his keyblade. "What the hell? This thing came out of nowhere!" He looked over and saw the girl(Alitt) that the man had left behind still lying on the ground unprotected, and he quickly ran in front of her with his keyblade at the ready. I hate to say it, but we need this girl alive if possible. She could have information on that cloaked man and what he's planning, which would help us. I guess we gotta keep her with us until then. He quickly fired off 7 thunder spells at the twilight thorn, and then looked towards the others. "Guys, i could use some backup here!"

Annistha kicked the captive down flat so that the Twilight Thorn's attack wouldn't hit her. With the captive taken care of, Annistha could focus on her own defense. As the Twilight Thorn's arm scythed towards her, the light half of the Nexus launched herself into a somersault.

{Nexus Shift}

When Annistha was directly over the Gaint Nobody's arm, with the body pointing head down and feet up, Zale took control. He struck out with his Keyblade and transforming gunblade, slicing at the creature's wrist.

Annistha retook control to complete the areial maneuver, landing nimbly on her feet. She leveled her Keyblade and gunblade in gun mode at the Twilight Thorn, pelting its head with bullets and Ruin spells.

Raidyn / Toshi

 

(Thorns shoot out from TT) Raidyn zipped around every thorn that came in front of him. He spotted out of the corner of his eye, however, that Toshi wasn't fairing so well. In fact, a lone thorn was heading straight for her, and she was too scared to even move as she stared it down.

 

"Toshi, get down!" Raidyn called zipping to her and covering her with his body. The thorn shot straight into his back, digging deep into his skin before fizzling away. He fell to the side, with Toshi still in his arms and unable to even speak at that moment.

 

But once it finally kicked in: "Raidyn!" She yelled, as he released his hold on her and layed on his back. She got up and kneeled by his side, holding his head in her hands.

 

"Gh... Toshi... don't worry. It's nothing. Heh," Raidyn said, smiling even though he looked pale and the pain was spreading all throughout his body. 

 

Toshi quickly summoned Protector and cast Cure on Raidyn. It was in that moment she realized that she hasn't done a thing to help her friends in this battle with the Twlight Thorn. She was going against what she wanted to do while training in the Academy and the reason why her parents sent her there in the first place; to stand up for herself. She gripped the handle of Protector tightly as she looked at the ground, the solemn look in her face now replaced with one of determination. I can't stand still anymore. I have to move.

 

"Raidyn, I'll back you up this time!" She said, standing in front of her best friend and holding her Keyblade out. Raidyn got to his knees and stared at Toshi's back. Well... looks like its her show too now... I guess I can roll with that. He said, rising to his feet and summoning Shockwave. "Right. Just make sure you can keep up." Raidyn said, ready to speed off, but stopped as Toshi put a hand on his shoulder.

 

"Hold on," she said, climbing onto Raidyn's back. The blonde blushed as Toshi explained, "Since you're too fast for me, we need to stay close so that I can heal you quicker." She said, trying hard to hide her own blush.

 

Raidyn made no further objection as he just have a shaky nod and sped off to the Nobody boss. Toshi's lightweight didn't slow him down at all as he dipped and dived around its body, slashing away while Toshi kept themselves healed with Cure from the occasional thorn damage.

With the sudden introduction of a Twilight Thorn to the group, Instructor Striker lost all his bearings as he started yelling to the enemy. "Out of all the enemies, why YOU?!?! Get lost you friggin low life, scum sucking-" As the instructor let off a bloodthirsty roar, his student Ghost was oddly amused by the sudden rage of his instructor. At least, until he realized how fatal it could be to him. The next instant, he was running towards the instructor who was borderline just about to lose it. "Ghost!" he yelled, "Gimme your rifle!"

"But-"

"Now!"

 

Not really wanting to question his thoughts, Ghost obliged and handed Striker his trusted weapon. A sadistic grin formed on the instructor's face as he gripped it in his left hand. "I'm gonna enjoy dual-wielding these. Assist the students."

"On it, sir."

 

As Ghost ran off to help, Striker whipped out his own arrow-rifle, and gripped it with his right hand. Mentally remarking about the difference between the two generation of weapons, the weaponized heartless was soon sending arrow-rounds towards the new threat with an extraordinary amount of precision as he aimed for the Thorn's head.

 

Ghost meanwhile, threw his keyblade at the Thorn and hoped that it would hit, but was a little sloppy on his attack. His mind was on Rei, wishing that she was never hurt to begin with, especially after what had happened.

She was keeping out of reach, peppering it with the tactical precision of the 'Merica Weapon from Saints Row IV. She let loose a few Artemis Arrows for the piercings, but was weakening. She needed the students to attack, and attack now - holding the station had her hurt.

 

Rei had managed to get to safety, and watched the battle.

Loud growling and the periodic thunder of the dual arrow-rifles defined Instructor Striker as he continued to send shot after shot towards the twilight thorn, hoping that the attacks would at least wither down the giant adversary and serve as a distraction while the students went after it. "Aim for the head! It's the weak spot!" He heard Zion shout, but the information fell on deaf ears. The weaponized heartless was already aiming there, but whether or not the attacks were working, he couldn't tell. The instructor was just venting at this point and not really caring for efficiency of the attack. Unfortunately, Zion called him out on it. "Keep up the attacks! Striker, stop your bloodlust before you get everyone killed!" The heartless could only glance at her with a calm, seething demeanor before deciding to ignore her remark and continue his barrage...

 

Ghost, meanwhile was was waiting for his keyblade to connect with the target, making darn sure that he was nowhere near it in the process. If those ribbons are weaponized... I've watched too much anime to know what it could be used for... Nope... Nope... Not on me, not on my girl, not on anyone here....

"Right. I'll do my best." Toshi told Brookyln, holding Protector up and ready to use her Cure spell when and as many times as necessary.

 

"Don't worry, I got this!" Raidyn called back, still speeding up towards the head of the Twilight Thorn. He quickly gained control of one of the Thorns he had jumped on and sent his electric pulse through the soles of his shoes; he then rode the thorn like a hoverboard as he made his way to the Twlight Thorn's head. "Heads up, freak!" He called as he rode the Thorn at an incredible pace, jumping off the thing as it drove straight into the Thorn's face.

Annistha jumped and rolled to avoid the Twilight Thorn's wild attacks, getting in a few more volleies from her gunblade and Ruin spells. She was in a crouch, preparing to spring for the Nobody's arm when she saw attacks getting dangerously close to the prisoner.

"Great." She breathed.

She ran and flipped through the attacks and ended in front of the cloaked girl.

Zale brought his Keyblade and gunblade, now in blade mode, up as the Thorn's hand swept towards him and the prisoner. He hated doing this, but used that hate to fuel his darkness. Yelling at the top of his lungs, he struck at up with his blades, knocking the Nobody's massive hand out of its path. Once the hand was with drawn, Zale took some labored breaths.

"Will someone behead this thing, already!" He managed to shout.

Raidyn / Toshi

 

"Right. I'll do my best." Toshi told Brookyln, holding Protector up and ready to use her Cure spell when and as many times as necessary.

 

"Don't worry, I got this!" Raidyn called back, still speeding up towards the head of the Twilight Thorn. He quickly gained control of one of the Thorns he had jumped on and sent his electric pulse through the soles of his shoes; he then rode the thorn like a hoverboard as he made his way to the Twlight Thorn's head. "Heads up, freak!" He called as he rode the Thorn at an incredible pace, jumping off the thing as it drove straight into the Thorn's face.

"Alright, let's keep it up people!" Brooklyn was up there next, his tenacity and showboating wasn't always just to look good, it had effectiveness to it, he was up on the thing as fast as one could be. "I'll be hot hands with you, today." Brooklyn muttered, diving straight into the wrist of the Nobody, spinning like a corkscrew, he hooked onto the side of the Nobody's arm and span around it, like a man in a circus act. Going after that, he dove for the wrist on the other side.

Indy watched Brooklyn, Raidyn, and Toshi all make their way to the Twilight Thorn. "Don't leave me behind!" He shouted, using the thorns to propel himself up, along the way, one scraped past his shoulder, nearly knocking Indy off balance. "Ugh..." He regained his balance, and continued making his way up. He used another Flare Blitz to slam the Twilight Thorn's hand, joining Raidyn and Brooklyn in their attacks.
