Kingdom Hearts: Fade into Light (Roleplay Thread)

Allitt

Allitt could feel that she was starting to blush as Lucas decided to help her out. He might not be the smartest person here, but at least he's nice... She took Lucas' hand and let him help her up. "Thanks, Lucas..." She muttered. As she left the ship, she shook her head. Ugh, I'm getting too soft... I can't believe that's happening.

Indy

"Heh, good to know, Raidyn!" Indy grinned at his friend, happy that he was feeling better now. Indy listened to Ghost's friends as they introduced themselves, trying not to laugh at how ridiculous they were. "I'm fine with you all coming along. We need all the help we can get, after all." He nodded at them. "Since you three have been here for a while... Have you seen any other Keyblade wielders? We were supposed to meet up with two students from the academy here." He asked them, hoping that they'd seen the two.

[shibuya Rooftops]

Spectre, Shadow, and Spirit listened intently to Gaku's answer as to why his posse of students were there. "We're here to investigate the situation with the Light-obsessed Organization. We fought one of them and she dropped the Player Pin, which is a sacred item that belongs to certain people from this world, including me. We were getting ready to meet up with a few friends of mine as well as the Keyblade Wielders that are currently investigating Shibuya's situation."

The trio nodded quietly as the student continued,"What I'm curious about is what you three are doing here? Vacationing, or investigating?"

Spectre was the one to answer his question. "We were on vacation while waiting for Ghost over there to earn his sigil. Shadow over here decided to drag us along for his shopping spree."

The black haired squadmate grinned sheepishly as he scratched the backside of his head. "I couldn't help it."

"Anyways, if you don't mind, we're gonna come along with you all. Wherever Ghost goes, we go."

Rei's adorable voice interrupted the conversation. "nnn. Hi guys. Don't touch my carrotcake. That means you Shadow."

"No promises, mate!"

"Carrotcake?" Spirit asked, confused.

Gaku looked at Spectre in a manner that shows that Gaku is not too surprised about their situation. "That's understandable. Shibuya's known for its excellent stores, technology, and its music" Gaku heard the tired Rei speak of carrotcake which doesn't amuse Gaku very much. "I don't wanna know about this." Gaku stated. "By the way Indy, I have a pretty good idea where the Keyblade Wielders are at, so we should get moving before the Wielders leave to do more investigating."

Seeing the rest of the group off of the ship, Gaku whistled for their attention. "All right guys, we're gonna head downstairs, and out into the streets. Stay close and follow me, for Shibuya is an easy place to get lost if foreigners visit the world for the first time." Gaku stated. He began to descend downstairs to search for an elevator.

Zale didn't seem to pay much attention to the others as he studied the city around him. It was always important to get a feel for the surroundings before going after prey. The sounds and smells filtered up to him. This was going to be an interesting challenge to hunt here.

Annistha turned to the others and smiled.

"Aw, and i thought I was going to have some fun exploring." She pouted before heading after Gaku.down the stairs.

[shibuya Rooftops]

Quietly watching Gaku making his way off the rooftop, the three members of Spooky Team looked at their newly reunited member, Ghost. The Sentinel-in-Training was still cradling Rei in his hands, and was completely lost on what to do at this point. "You two should get married soon," Shadow joked, "and I call dibs on being best man if that's alright with you, man."

Ghost chuckled softly. "I'll have to think about that man. Anyways, hey Spectre. And idea on what's going on? What's up with the Instructor?"

The leader shook his head. "He got a report that there was a possibility his respective nobody is out there somewhere."

"What?!" Ghost was genuinely shocked; He remembered comforting Striker as the weaponized heartless kept waking up from his nightmares, mostly about having to relive the memory of seeing his other entities being killed right in front of him.

"He's hoping the reports are true. Poor guy has been out for too long. It's a miracle he hasn't succumb to the darkness yet."

".... So what of my Sigil?"

"You'll earn it one way or another."

"What does that mean?"

"Here's what he sent me shortly before his departure. If his existence is wiped away for any reason, the sigil will appear on all of our armors, marking the complete succession of the Guardians and making us full-fledged Sentinels."

"And if he makes it through ok? I wanna see my instructor again, ya know. Is he gonna personally hand the sigil in a ceremony?"

Spectre stayed quiet for a moment, before finally whispering, "then you face your final exam."

"W-what do you mean?"

"....."

Ghost stood there, blinking and dumbfounded. Fortunately, Spirit rallied the group back together. "Hey guys. The resident student is heading off. We should follow him." Not wanting to get lost on the world, Spirit, Ghost, Spectre, and Shadow started following Gaku down the staircase, talking and bickering with one another.

(Reyn's going to be out for a bit, so I'll just have Lucas follow along quietly. Not really something within his character, but it's the best solution I can think of)

Indy smirked in response to Annistha's comment. "Maybe after we meet up with the other two, Gaku will let us take a look around." He followed Gaku down the set of stairs, still trying not to laugh as Ghost's teammates all talked to each other. "So... Where are we going, anyway, Gaku?" He asked the boy.

Allitt waited for Lucas to leave the ship, then joined the group in descending the staircase. "Who are these people we're supposed to meet, too?" She asked, following up from her brother's question.

Raidyn / Toshi

Raidyn and Toshi once again played the roles of observers and followed their teammates to where they needed to go, and while Toshi was fully aware at the task at hand, eyes looking straight ahead, Raidyn was a little off base, hands behind his head, looking around the area as they walked and sort of itching to get into combat again. But since he already told Indy he'd be a team player, he felt he had no choice but to deal with it for now.

Gaku said to Annistha as he continued descending the stairs. As the group reached the main lobby, Indy asked Gaku where the group is going, while Allitt added who the group is meeting.

"Let's see, we are in Cadoi City, home for one of the major and mixed department store chains, so we are in between the Scramble Crossing, the main intersection of Shibuya, and Miyashita Park which is pretty much the only actual park that has natural grass." Gaku said. "We need to head towards and past Miyashita Park to get to The WildKat, one of the famous coffee shops. There, we will meet up with the Keyblade Wielders and some personal friends of my Dad. They should know or have an idea of what's going on with Shibuya as well as help us with our investigation."

Gaku went to the door and looked back to the group. "Now stick close. We're moving out." Gaku said as he opened the door outside the apartment into the wilderness of Cadoi City, Shibuya.

"Yay new people!" Ember quickly exclaimed, having jumped from the ramp of Brooklyn's ship, and followed the group down the stairs. Once there, she quickly jumped into the group of the new three, wrapping each of them in a hug! She pulled each one close to her, before removing them from her grip, and moving along to the next. Once she finished all three of them, she smiled brightly at Spirit, Spectre, and Shadow. "Okay, so what're your names?"

"Try not to scare people sis. It makes a bad impression." Somrene said, descending the stairwell himself.

"Mom told me that hugs always make good impressions!" Ember argued. Somrene raised his eyebrow as if questioning that logic.

"And since when has Mom given the best advice?" Somrene replied.

"Since, like, always! Hmph! You just spend too much time around Dad." Ember replied, crossing her arms and pouting. Somrene laughed once. He nodded to the three of them himself.

"Name's Somrene. She's Ember." The Son of Vincent said calmly. He glanced back to his sister. "And their names are Spirit, Shadow, and Spectre. Which you'd have known if you were paying attention."

"Psh, attention is overrated anyway."

"Mom tell you that one too?" Ember ignored her brother.

"Anyway, nice to meetcha you guys!" Ember exclaimed. She then turned back to Gaku. "Got it chief!" She said, then grasping Brooklyn's wrist, and dragging him with her as they exited the building right behind Gaku.

While everyone was talking among themselves, Joel took a bit of time to take in the surroundings. To put it bluntly, the city was huge. And busy. And really noisy. There was too much in the surroundings for Joel to take in.

After a moment, Gaku led the gang down through the building and out into Cadoi City. Perhaps to the average citizen, their team was some sort of tour group, and a rather odd one at that. Well, things here should definitely be interesting, Joel thought.

Raidyn / Toshi

"Whooooa..." Raidyn, of course, was amazed by the grand structure and mystique of what he was witnessing. Out of all the worlds he read about, Shibuya was probably the one he knew the least about, mostly because the legendary Sora had never been there himself, at least during his journeys when he was around Raidyn's age. Still, he was curious to what kind of experience this world would bring him.

"Man, this place looks super cool," Raidyn added to his awe. Normally, he would start exploring on his own by now, but again, he was being a team player, so he didn't budge from where he stood and kept Gaku's heed to stay close in mind.

"It does, doesn't it?" Toshi smiled, also impressed by the surroundings of Shibuya. "S-so, Gaku, where do we go from here?" She then asked her teammate.

[shibuya]

"I hate stairs!" Shadow playfully cried as the group of students followed Gaku down the apartment building.

"Is there anything you don't hate, Shadow?" Spirit joked back.

"I don't hate shopping...""Touche," Spectre snickered, "now remember guys: Stick close to the resident student and don't get lost."

"It'll be easy to find me," Ghost reassured his squadmates, "just find the boy who's cradling a pink haired bunny girl."

Their laughter was interrupted by Gaku's important rambling. "We need to head towards and past Miyashita Park to get to The WildKat, one of the famous coffee shops. There, we will meet up with the Keyblade Wielders and some personal friends of my Dad. They should know or have an idea of what's going on with Shibuya as well as help us with our investigation." Each member of  Spooky Team nodded to one another. "I guess we got our objective," Spectre announced to his squadmates, "Secure the cafe and make sure no one suspicious can eavesdrop on us."

With the posse of students in the main lobby, everyone of Spooky Team, except Ghost, was blindsided by Ember's hug. "Oop... We got a hugger here!" Spectre giggled, returning the affection as he too hugged the girl back. Spirit smiled when it was his turn, giving the girl a textbook-perfect hug back. "Well aren't you just a little ball of sunshine?" he playfully remarked, his cheeks a slight rosey color. Shadow... This guy let off the most unmanly squeal of joy when it was his turn, blushing while squeezing the girl tightly in his arms. Their introduction finished, the trio stayed quiet as they listened to Ember and Somrene's little arguement. "Pleased to meet you two." Spectre replied on behalf of his group, "It's not every day that we get a hug like that."

"Your sister is awesome!" Shadow blurted.

WIth the bubbly girl dragging Brooklyn away and Gaku heading outside the building, the members of Spooky Team gathered together and followed Gaku. "Lead the way then." Spectre insisted.

Annistha sneered at the mention of shopping, a pass time both she and her brother hated.

"Unless this place has got some sort of epic book store, count me out of shopping." She said, straightening her black and white patterned coat. "Besides, we're stylish anyway."

Zale gave Spooky Team an appraising look before giving them a nod.

"WildKat, huh? Alright, sounds good to me." Indy agreed, and continued to follow Gaku. "Oh, and speaking of shopping..." Indy looked at his sister, who gave him a slightly angered look.

"I'm here for revenge, not to go to stores." She snapped at her brother.

"Er, I was just trying to say... You might want to get some new clothes." Indy pointed out, and Allitt remembered she was still in her cloak.

[since I don't know anything about this place, I'm going to assume that we're on Shibuya, Streets]

Amidst the large crowd of people, the vigilant eyes of Spooky Team scanned everywhere for anyone who looked threatening or suspicious. They didn't notice anyone in particular, and the team concluded that no one was actively watching them. "Ghost, you're the odd man out." Spectre remarked as Spirit and Shadow walked slightly behind the keyblade wielder, "I know you're carrying Rei romantically in your arms, but that student is right." He nodded at Indy before continuing. "You should really consider getting some world appropriate clothes so you don't stick out like a sore thumb." The white-haired student quietly nodded in approval. "You're right. Since you're wearing those clothes, I might as well do the same."

"We got them on sale!" Shadow exclaimed with glee.

"And we needed to blend in with the crowd." Spirit added, "so the spending spree was justified."

"No, it wasn't." Spectre coldly retorted, "There is no way you can justify buying an overweight bunny that you saw at that one pet shop."

"Hey! Don't call our cute, plushy tub of lard furry friend that!"

"We're calling him Mittens!" Shadow concluded.

Holding back a laugh and trying to make sense of their predicament, Ghost decided to focus on the immediate task of not getting lost and finding a good disguise. He wanted to ask Gaku about where to start, but decided that the best option was to wait until after the rendezvous with his informants. "In the meantime, Ghost," Spectre informed his squadmate, "we'll move ahead and recon that coffee shop your friend mentioned. See you there." And with that, Spirit, Shadow, and Spectre broke away from the group, moving quickly through the crowd and making a beeline to the meeting point. They were thankful for the map that was on their tactical pad, courtesy of the Instructor.

Gaku lead the group through the streets of Cadoi City as he leads them closer to the WildKat. He stopped outside of Towa Records to admire his one of favorite music stores and record labels. Place hasn't changed much. Excellent. I wonder what kind of music Shibuya has been listening to? Gaku thought. He looked back at the group and overheard clothing from some students. Gaku heard Annistha's comment on book store's and being stylish as he looked at her coat. He made a worried look, which is the first he has ever done to anyone. "Yeaah. . . Remind me to make sure you don't meet my Mom's friend. You'll be in for a long talk." Gaku said. He looked at Allitt next. "Since you're no longer part of the organization, you should get some new threads. Luckily, you are in the right place. Just make sure you have enough munny, and you have a very, VERY broad amount of clothes to choose."

Gaku saw Ghost's team leaving to do recon at the WildKat ahead of them. Gaku deadpanned. "The only thing they will find at the WildKat is excellent coffee. two Wielders, a coffee shop owner/Producer, and an annoying priss." Gaku said. He began walking towards the  Miyashita Park Underpass. "We are halfway there. Let's go." Gaku said as he walked the Underpass, a tunnel under the Yamanote Train tracks that connects to Miyashita Park.

As he walked along with the group, Zale's eyes narrowed and his nostrils flaired. There was someone watching. he thought he caught sight of someone in a red coat, but it was only for an instant and he lost sight of the figure. A little smirk crossed Zale's lips. Indy continued to look at the skyscrapers, trying to keep an eye out for any potential threats. "Sounds like we're meeting an interesting group at the cafe... I'm guessing you know the people who aren't wielders?" He asked Gaku curiously.

While walking through the Miyashita Park Underpass, Gaku noticed Zale batting his eye the person with the red coat on the tower. So the Harriers are spying on us. It seems the Organization might have contacted the Reapers. Gaku thought. As Zale Nexus Shifted to Annistha, she responded to Gaku's previous comment about fashion and his Mom's friend. "We'll see about that." Gaku replied. After hearing the Yamanote Train roar past the tracks one last time, the group reaches the end of the Underpass and at the streets near Miyashita Park. Walking through the park, Gaku admired the only rural scenery that makes the park the most iconic place to visit in urban-infested Shibuya.

"We are almost at the WildKat. We just have to go through the park and - -" Gaku's directions were interrupted when they hear a teenager screaming out of his lungs as he flew from air into the tree, and down through the tree branches onto the pavement in front of the group. "Well then. . . Least you went out with a bang." Gaku joked with the Skater as Gaku helped him up.

"Dude, that was freaking gnarly! I gotta go try that again!" The Skater yelled with excitement as he got on his skateboard and skated towards where he fell from.

"I don't think that's a . . . ." Gaku tried to warn the boy not to do it again, but the words fell on deaf ears. "Note to self, talk to Beat and Rhyme about creating a mega ramp with foam boxes." Gaku noted himself out loud.

As the group walked further, the Miyashita Skate Park comes into view which is home for the stadium sized Half-Pipe where the Skater flew off. "That Skate Park was made by Shibuya's greatest Pro Skater and close friend of my dad, Daisukenojo "Beat" Bito. If we ever come across him, make sure you call him 'Beat'." Gaku said as he continued walking past the Skate Park as the group gets closer to the other side of the park which is home for some shops such as Jupiter of the Monkey and the coffee shop, WildKat.

"Beat, huh...?" Indy asked. "I'm pretty sure I've heard about him before. Wasn't he one of the people that Sora and Riku met when they were taking the Mark of Mastery Exam?"

"If he is, he should be helping us fight, not making skate parks." Allitt sighed. He's just like the annoying academy students... Instead of trying to help the worlds, he'd rather mess around and have fun. She thought, avoiding sharing her thoughts with the others. She knew that they would probably just get offended and whine. She didn't want to deal with that during their mission.

"I'm sure he'll be willing to join us if we ask him." Indy said. Eventually, the group reached WildKat. "So... This is the meeting place? Looks pretty... Normal." Indy opened the door, and walked inside. Upon entering, he was greeted by an adult wearing a suit and shades.

"Hey, welcome to the WildKat. What can I do for you?" He asked. When he looked around at the group, he spotted a familiar face. "Oh, Gaku! This your group?"

As the man spoke with the students, another man wearing a light blue polo shirt sat alone at a counter, listening in on their conversation.

The group has reached their destination of their next objective. Gaku looked at the WildKat with a smirk on his face. "And here's the WildKat, home for one good cup of joe." Gaku said. Indy went ahead inside with the group to follow suit. Gaku breathed in the coffee smell as he saw two familiar faces. The man in suit and shades welcomed the group into the shop, who spotted Gaku's familiar face. "Oh, Gaku! This your group?" The man said.

"Yo Hanekoma, Long time no see!" Gaku said. "Yeah, that's my group. We came here to meet up with the other Wielders as well as gather information about the Organization invading Shibuya. Did my dad tell you ahead of time?" Gaku asked as he walked up to the counter. He noticed the boy in light blue polo shirt on the counter. "Hey Joshua, how's Shibuya holding up?" Gaku asked Joshua.

The man behind the counter listened to Gaku, then began to speak. "Yeah, Neku told me you'd probably come here. Those other two students should be here soon, too." He turned to the rest of the group. "Oh, I should introduce myself! Name's Sanae Hanekoma. You can call me Mr. H for short. I'm the owner of WildKat, and a friend of Gaku's parents. Coffee, anyone?" He asked.

The man at the counter, Joshua, turned after hearing Gaku's voice. "Hello, Gaku." He greeted the boy. "Shibuya... Well, it's seen better days." He said, his tone much more serious than that of Mr. H. "I'll explain that soon. For now, I'll let you all regroup and discuss what it is you need to talk about."

"You know, this is the most talkative I've seen Gaku be ever since we met him." Indy whispered to Raidyn.

Meanwhile, at the top of the 10-4 building, the man in a red jacket spoke with another man in a white cloak. "They've arrived in Shibuya. I overheard them talking about going to WildKat. You'll find them there." The man in red reported...

(By the way, I suppose I should explain this now: A few members in the roleplay asked me if they could make villains, and I approved them. If anyone else wants to make another villain, I can take one or two more. Send me the sheet in a PM. All villains have to be members of the organization.)

Raidyn / Toshi

"You and me both," Raidyn whispered back to Indy, chuckling a bit. "I didn't even think 'ol Headphones could be this talkative. I guess he's not exactly like Old Man Neku after all," he concluded.

"Maybe he can talk around us like that once we get to know him better," Toshi added with a hopeful smile.

???

Under his hood, the man grinned, happy to receive his orders. "No problem. Once I have them in my grasp, they won't have a chance to escape." He assured the man in the red jacket, thereafter opening a portal with his powers of Light and making his way through, planning to catch the band of Keyblade students off guard...

(That's right, I'm a bad guy now too. I'm playing from both sides of the fence. I feel like a double agent. xD)

(We landed in Shibuya, and we're currently at the WildKat, a cafe in town. The group just met up with Mr. H and Joshua, and they're all talking there.
