He reasoned in his head, then casting Cure on everyone in the area to ensure they were at the peak of phisical ability possible for the moment. "Let's get moving soon. I don't like this, with two high-rank Nobodies appearing here like that, I wouldn't want to stick around here, since they seem to be being sent after us and not the people, we're a danger to the world and a danger to ourselves here." Javelin434 3,164 Posted June 29, 2014 Thanks to the attacks from Annistha and Joel, the Twilight Thorn was too distracted to move out of the way of Striker's attack. The Keyblade tore through the Twilight Thorn's head. The Twilight Thorn was motionless, and slowly faded away. As this happened, the other group finally reached the clock tower. "Is everything okay here?" Indy asked, gripping his Keyblade to prepare for a battle. He scanned the area, and noticed the cloaked girl near the station itself. "Who's that girl?" He asked, curious. "And why is she unconscious?" Zion landed, Rei clutched protectively. "Everything is okay now. thanks to Striker and the others, the Twilight Thorn was taken down and everyone is okay." Rei squirmed a bit, but Zion wasn't letting go. After all, she barely was healed from the last fight, and Zion was being a mother. "Something's up and that something truly pisses me off." Cutting clean through the trouble-maker, the student was even more impressed as he watched Striker land solidly on his feet and created an impact crater where the large nobody once stood. As he waited for the dust settled, the students from the other group started to arrive on the scene. Ghost breathed a sigh of relief and turned his attention away from his instructor. Zion and Rei thankfully landed right beside him, putting him at ease knowing his girlfriend is right besides him. Finally, some reinforcements. But it looks like they're too late. "Is everything okay here?" he heard Indy asked, "Who's that girl? And why is she unconscious?" It took Ghost a moment to realize that he was still guarding the unconscious body, then promptly informed the newcomers of the detainee. "We don't have a specific name, but she is one of the suspects that we were sent out to look for. We also met one of her associates." "Everything is okay now. thanks to Striker and the others, the Twilight Thorn was taken down and everyone is okay. Something's up and that something truly pisses me off." "...So, we're not the only one attacked by a Twilight Thorn, then." Brooklyn's remark caught Ghost's attention. While everyone was being healed, he decided to check up on Joel and the instructor. Looking at the settling dust cloud, he was able to see Striker casually walking towards the group with an eerily calm look on his face. He was still gripping his keyblade, but quickly called the weapon away as he got closer to everyone. "Hello, Indy" the instructor monotonously greeted, "Brooklyn, Toshi, Raidyn. What happened on your end? And on that note... Where's Ember? " The instructor turned to face his student. "Ghost, have you seen Somrene, Allitt, and Lucas for that matter?" The student quietly shook his head. "Sorry, sir. I've been too focused on the battle to really keep track of everyone else." Striker visibly frowned and for a brief moment twitched his left eye. "I'll have to deal with that later then." He quietly looked at Indy again, his face visibly less stern and menacing than before.
Firaga 5,947 Posted June 29, 2014 Raidyn / Toshi Raidyn and Toshi caught up to Brooklyn and Indy just as they arrived. Raidyn probably would have gotten there first but his earlier battle might have left him more fatigued then he thought; of course, even if he was, he'd never admit it. "We're here!" Raidyn called as he slid to a stop, allowing Toshi to climb off his back and set foot on the ground once more. The two students listened in as Indy and the others were formulating their next plan of action, as well as identifying a girl that was tied up and who Raidyn and Toshi assumed where the ones responsible for the outbreak of Nobodies. They were also shocked that they weren't the only ones who were attacked by a Twilight Thorn. The pale skinned instructor Striker then asked the two what happened back at the mansion. Raidyn answered first: "Well, uh, we kinda had some trouble so to speak. A bunch of Nobodies ambushed us, and after we took care of them, we fought a huge Twilight Thorn, just like you and the others did. And as for Ember... well... I don't know what happened to her to be honest. Do you Toshi?" "No I don't," Toshi replied. "We must have forgotten her while we were battling the Twilight Thorn. I hope that she's alright," Toshi added, looking behind her towards the mansion, the last place where Ember was seen. "I'm sure she'll turn up eventually. Don't sweat it!" Raidyn said, putting his hands behind his head as Toshi looked back to him and smiled.
rikunobodyxiii 700 Posted June 29, 2014 Annistha slumped after the Twilight Thorn's destruction. "Whew." She said. "And here I thought this would be a cakewalk." Arya Stark 1,337 Posted June 29, 2014 Ember had been hit rather far away. Approximately the other side of town. And dang had it hurt. So when she stumbled into the train station through the subway tunnel, she nearly collapsed, but Somrene caught her. Her brother had been assaulting the Twilight Thorn's legs in various ways, but it didn't seem to have made any difference. "Are you alright?" Somrene asked the bruised Ember. The young ninja only smiled at Somrene. "Duh! I'm still conscious aren't I?" She replied, still as easygoing as ever. Somrene shook his head in disapproval. "You really need to stop doing stupid stuff." "But that stuff is the most fun!" Ember protested. Somrene sighed. "Come on. Maybe your boyfriend knows a healing spell or two." At this comment, Ember blushed, her face bright red. "He is not my boyfriend!" Ember began to argue loudly, but Somrene tapped her on the neck. Ember immediately fell completely unconscious. Her brother smiled. He remembered his Dad telling him how Mom had an "off switch", and using it on occasion had helped him out of many a situation. Somrene was surprised the same trick had worked on Ember, but it was almost funny. So Somrene smiled, and picked her up in his arms, and carried her over to the group. "Somrene and Ember reporting for duty." Somrene said. "If anyone has a cure or potion they could spare, I think my sister would enjoy the assist."

"Oh no, Ember..." Toshi said in a worried tone. Somerene then asked for somebody to give Ember a cure or a potion. "Don't worry, Toshi'll handle it," Radiyn said, patting Ember on the back. "R-right. I will," Toshi said, summoning Protector in her hands. "Cure!" she called, casting the spell on Ember, a small pair of bells appearing over her head that sprinkled down green bits of magic that would restore her. Xiro 3,468 Posted June 30, 2014 Joel just watched as the others arrived from the mansion. It seemed that they had had there hands full as well. Joel didn't know any healing magic, so he just stood by the others as the wounded were treated. Man, I need to learn some new spells... Once everyone was back in working condition, he asked aloud, "So, what are we going to do with her?" He pointed to their troublesome captive.

[if I remember clearly, there's a PG-13 restriction on this RP... So...] Instructor Striker quietly nodded at Indy's question as he started making his way back to the landed gummi ships on the other side of town. It's a personal thing... That's the Highwind for crying out loud. I don't want it to get messy in there during the questioning. Otherwise, my ship is still classified... "Ghost" he calmly addressed, "go on ahead of me and prep the cockpit aboard the Overwatch. I need 3 overdose amounts of the serum in syringes, several handcuffs, fiber wire, and... a glass bottle. I think that should be it." The student hesitantly nodded in response, wondering just how the items are going to help in the questioning of their prisoner. He took off running with Rei still cradled in his arms, leaving the students who have decided to tag along with the instructor behind. It was a short time later that whoever had decided to accompany Striker and the unconscious woman finally arrived at the two gummi ships. Lo and behold, sitting dutifully next to the legendary Highwind sat the instructor's personal gummi ship. It was an almost menacing sight; The sharp, triangular shape of it's wings and fins alone gave the ship the look of a calm, seething demeanor, as if begging it's viewer to make the first move so it has an excuse to relentlessly fight back. The cockpit section along with the leading edges of the wings were painted a glossy black; a rather abrupt contrast to the glinting white that covered center body of the ship. Immediately flanking the now opened loading ramp of the ship were the massive, flattened-diamond shaped air intakes that was more than enough to supply air to the immensely overpowered twin gummi engines directly behind it if the ship was on a world, furthering its power outputs to a mind-boggling level. It wasn't a matter of saber-rattling or showing off, but of forced trial-by-fire of evolution and tempering to assist the light in combating the darkness, and the scorch marks that are permanently seared on the exterior cockpit section was more than enough evidence of the machine's grizzled veteran status. And yet, as Striker walked past a door that was immediately behind the ramp which sealed the section from the rest of the interior, those who were curious to follow would be startled to see the rather luxurious main room within the obviously combat capable ship. As it turned out, the place also served as a home for its owner, a haven of sanctuary away from the possible untold carnage and violence that its owner will eventually put it through. The room was sparsely decorated, but the warm, accentuating glow of the quarter-hemispherical, frosted glass wall sconces illuminating the beige colored walls were more than enough to compensate. The furniture that was in the room, other than being bolted down for obvious reasons, were of a modern contemporary design, and the open kitchen off in the far corner sported all modern appliances and a nice black granite countertop. Attached to the freezer door of the refrigerator sitting in the corner was a little yellow sticky note with the words "ALL MYNE :D" crudely scribbled by a marker, trying to ward off the possibility of having the yummy sea-salt ice cream stash hidden within from being plundered by anyone other than the owner. There was a pink sticky note directly below that, the words "Not anymore... ;)" Beautifully written in black pen ink in a brazen attempt of mocking the greedy yellow note. There were several doors around the perimeter of the main living room that were sealed shut, some leading to the other living quarters of the ship, but the one the instructor made his way towards was directly to the right of the entrance hallway. As the doors quietly hushed open, it was soon obvious that it was the cockpit, and the gunmetal grey interior was a stark contrast to the main living room. As he walked in, Ghost was finalizing the preparations around one of the bolted down hotseats near the rear of the room, away from the computers, displays and windows that seemed to encompass the place. "Everything you asked for is ready, sir" the student quietly addressed. Striker nodded in acknowledgement. "Good. You might wanna step out of the room for a bit." Ghost nodded, then quickly exited the place, closing the door behind him. Just as the doors were sealed shut, he heard the sounds of handcuffs being engaged, followed by the cracking of knuckles. He faced the students who had decided to enter the ship, trying to get his mind off what was happening on the other side. "So uh... Welcome aboard the Overwatch. There's ice cream in the fridge in the back if you want some. Just don't eat it all, please..."

Just don't eat it all, please..." Indy decided to stay outside with Ghost. I should leave this to the professional... As much as I'd like to be there and gather information, I'd probably just be in the way. He nodded in response to Ghost's ice cream offer. "Alright, cool." He pulled one out of the fridge, and ate it as he waited. Noticing that Ghost seemed a bit on edge, he decided to help in lightening the mood. "This is a really nice ship." Geez, I sound stupid. "A lot cozier than the Highwind, that's for sure. It must be nice getting to ride around on this ship. Not that there's anything wrong with the Highwind, either..." On the other side of the door, the girl woke up. However, she was nearly drained of her energy. She quickly noticed that she was being restrained by a pair of handcuffs. "What's going on?" She looked around, finally spotting Striker. "You... You're one of the Academy creeps, aren't you? Let me out of here, or you'll regret it!" She threatened, despite not being in any condition to make such claims.

After all they had completed their mission, so they guessed just going with the flow with whatever else was happening was the best option at that time. Raidyn and Toshi were hanging outside Striker's "torture room" with Indy and the others. Raidyn had gotten an ice cream bar for himself and Toshi as they both decided to sit by their red hoodied classmate. "Yeah, I know right? This place has everything!" Raidyn interjected Indy's talk about the Gummi Ship as he plopped down right next to him, casually putting an arm around his shoulder as he ate his ice cream. Toshi was quietly sitting next to him, obviously not as enthusiastic about getting chatty as she licked her own ice cream. "Hey Indy, what do you think we're gonna do when we get back to the Academy?" Raidyn asked, sort of ignoring the fact that there was a hostage on board. "I mean, once we take care of whatever we have to with that person with Mr. Striker, I bet we'll have a whole slew of new worlds to go to for missions!" 1 Shulk reacted to this

This person might just be a clue to get us closer to finding this new Organization." He began to answer. "Of course, I'm sure we'll go to other worlds along the way. We might be able to figure out our next destination when Striker's done with what he's doing. As for when we get back to the Academy when this is all over..." He grinned. "They'll probably all see us as heroes."
