Saber Lily 1,543 Posted March 20, 2014 Rei bounced over to Lucas. "Hi I'm Rei, I think I saw you at the Walking on Light concert last weekend before the teachers nearly suspended us for hosting it in the library!" She smiled brightly, bunny ears twitching. "So, whacha think we're gonna be doing? Boring fieldtrip? Maybe an awesome adventure with cool swordfights?" She spoke...at a very decent pace, not slurring or anything. She looked at Lucas expectantly.
Shulk 8,623 Posted March 20, 2014 After the students had the time to converse for a while, an adult walked into the room, catching the attention of everyone else in the hangar. "It looks like everyone's gathered..." He muttered, eyeing the crowd. He noticed that some people had already formed groups, by the looks of it. Well, it's good to know they aren't fighting... He thought to himself, then cleared his throat. "Attention, everyone! My apologies for being late, I had other business to attend to... Anyway, I'm Master Riku." The man introduced himself. "I've gathered you all here for an important mission. I'm sure you've all heard the rumors about the people who are trying to destroy the darkness, correct?" He asked. Indy seemed suddenly more interested when he heard that last sentence. "They're becoming a serious threat to the worlds, and we need someone to stop them. We're sending all of you off on a mission to defeat them and restore the balance of light and dark to the worlds. We have a Gummi Ship prepared for all of you, but we don't know which worlds they'll target next. It's up to all of you to find that out and stop them. We do believe we have one lead, but that's it... Twilight Town seems to be the most likely world for them to target next. That is to be your first destination." He briefed them on their mission. "So, in short, track them down, eliminate them, and ensure the safety of the worlds. I wish you good luck on your journey." He nodded to everyone else, and left the room. "So... Where's the Gummi Ship, anyway?" Indy asked the others, hoping someone knew. "We'll answer that!" A voice came from seemingly nowhere. "Who said that?" Indy looked around, trying to find the source of the voices. "Down here!" He looked down, and noticed two chipmunks had managed to crawl over to the group. "Name's Chip!" One of them introduced himself. "And I'm Dale!" The other responded. "We'll take you to the ship, follow us!" The two chipmunks ran off, leaving the others to follow them. They led them to a large, orange Gummi Ship. "This is the Highwind!" Chip allowed the others to admire it. "We've been the engineers on this ship for years, and it's running perfectly fine even after all this time!"

Javelin434 3,164 Posted March 20, 2014 "Master Riku..." both Ghost and Striker whispered in awe, particularly Ghost. "Attention, everyone! Instructor Striker visibly and violently flinched when the master mentioned the suggested world to visit. He immediately exhaled and felt a sharp chill shoot down his back as he started to shake. "Tw-... Twilight..." As the master dismissed the students, he miraculously managed to regain his composure through sheer willpower as Ghost walked up to him with a slight smile forming on his face. "So... Wanna try for that world, sir?" The heartless nodded. "It's up to you, Ghost. Consider this your final test before earning your sigil. You got your orders and so have the other students. How will you carry it out? You call the shots, I'll follow." Ghost's eyes lit up with glee as his smile got bigger. "So... I get to make the mission now, sir?" "Not quite. You gotta work in tandem with the students, you lucky sod." "Wadda mean lucky? From the look of things, Mr. Hotshot over there might derail the entire operation." The instructor leaned in close to his student and growled some comforting words. "At least you got friends to work with." He pulled back then turned around to face the gummi ship Overwatch. "The other students will be taking his majesty's Highwind. You get this gummi ship instead. Not as blocky, not as red, and never commandeered by the most legendary keybladers. But it makes up for it in overall stats. Ghost, say hello to the Overwatch. Once piloted by a Nocturnal Guardian, this ship wi-" Not really wanting to hear it, Ghost screamed with glee as he ran past him and up the loading ramp of the ship, leaving the instructor speechless. "Or... you can do that." Snickering a little, Striker walked up the ramp and met up with the eager student in the cockpit of the ship. Ghost was already at the controls, bringing the ship online. "All systems online, sir." He glanced over his shoulders. "We'll wait for the Highwind to take off and follow them. Consider relaxing for a while, sir." Xiro 3,468 Posted March 20, 2014 Joel looked up at the Gummi ship that would be their vessel. "Looks pretty cool," he said to himself. "Wonder if it has lodging. Or whether or not it's fuel efficient. Maybe there's a warp mode or something. We can't really afford to spend time cruising through space when there are worlds to be saved." Firaga 5,947 Posted March 20, 2014 Raidyn / Toshi "Whoa..." Raidyn was awestruck to meet one of the Keyblade Masters that founded the Academies as he explained their mission. He listened thoroughly and instinctively nodded as soon as Riku finished his speech. Raidyn was a little sad the Master did not have time to speak anymore, as he wanted to challenge him to a fight. In reality, that would have been pretty stupid, but Raidyn could not resits. Maybe after he became stronger, he could spar with Master Riku. Or maybe the others as well... Javelin434 3,164 Posted March 20, 2014 (edited) Playing with various display panels and eyeing multiple gauges and digital dials, Ghost seemed to become lost in his own little world as he looked around at the cool blue instrumentation surrounding him in the relatively spacious cockpit, then glanced outside. Some of the students have already started boarding the Highwind, which made the anxious pilot shift in his seat a little as he felt the reassuring rumble of the twin engines aboard his ship idling. Surveying the hanger a little more, he noticed someone else looking at the Highwind, then looked away, not even moving towards the ship in an attempt to board it. Realizing who the student was, Ghost shook his head and let off a sigh. "I wonder what Hotshot is thinking right now? It wouldn't kill him to mingle with the others, right? Or... Hmmm..." He decided to shift his focus elsewhere. "I wonder where Rei went? Probably in the Highwind..." Instructor Striker meanwhile, was standing at the entrance to the gummi ship loading ramp, leaning against a hydraulic cylinder used to open and close it. The rumble of the black-and-white triangular metal dragon that he was standing on was an all too familiar sensation for the veteran as he closely watched the other students boarding the Highwind. It feels weird... watching other students board that ship, especially knowing its previous owners. Heh, good ol' Highwind. Semper Fortis little dude... Semper Fortis... rikunobodyxiii 700 Posted March 20, 2014 Zale groaned. The Highwind. Why did they always give the students the Highwind? The design was like over 50 years old. ~*Inside The Nexus*~ "Come on, don't you remember that time we used a Highwind to clear out one of the lanes to Disney Castle?" Annistha said. Zale nodded to indicate he remembered, one of the intact memories from before. "Yet, there are still more armored and armed Gummi designs out there." He rubbed his nose, half out of reacting, the other half subtly checking to make sure his nose wasn't bleeding at the wrong time. Thankful that the medication he took earlier was working, he glanced back up at the girl just in time to wave back and smile as she entered the Highwind.
