Dio Brando 5,810 Posted March 11, 2014 I love the first X game so much ^_^ And by that I mean the SNES original, while the Maverick Hunter X remake was ok but the 3D visuals look ugly compared to the detailed 2D sprites and the new remixes while sounds nice it's not as good as the original soundtrack 1 Demyx. reacted to this

Dio Brando 5,810 Posted March 11, 2014 (edited) Maverick Hunter frustrated me. They moved shit around and I got conufsed. Sigma's Castle for me was the worst offender of that game Sure it was way easier than the original but confusing at the same time as they screwed the layout especially the first and second stages in Sigma's castle Edited March 11, 2014 by Metal Snake 1 Demyx. reacted to this
CloakedSchemerX 1,011 Posted March 11, 2014 It is a fun game, but I still can't beat Sigma's first form ;~;

Sorual 607 Posted March 11, 2014 (edited) Totally, get it now it's one of the best platformers on the SNESI'd love to! But I'm not sure which version to get. So far it looks like is like the pap one better becouse of the cutscenes. Plus I only have 2 pap games. (Birth by sleep and megaman powered up) so I think I'll get the psp version unless the sneaky version has a huge advantage. The 2d graphics look good but cutscenes really takes it for me. The cutscenes are really few and far between and the only cutscene worth watching is the 20 minutes OVA called the Day of Sigma that shows how Sigma became a Maverick...other than that the game feels inferior to the SNES version There are barely any cutscenes in the actual game itself aside from the openingending and The Day of Sigma OVA which you can watch on youtube Believe me the SNES version is better in terms of music, sprites and level design, the PSP version screwed the level design for Sigma's castle Trust me most of the Megaman fandom agrees that the SNES version was much better 1 Demyx. reacted to this

So the lvs aren't the fact same as they were in the snes version? If that's the case then I'll get it on the virtual console. I might check out maverick hunters some other time. The major change is in Sigma's castle as 90% of it is really different from the SNES version, the other levels got some weird changes that doesn't add anything new and they changed the location of some of the Dr Light Capsule, the dash capsule in Chill Penguin's stage is now hidden instead of being given to you which kinda confused me as the location they hid the dash capsule in doesn't make sense. Just watch the Day of Sigma OVA on youtube and play the SNES version 2 Demyx. and Sorual reacted to this

Personally X4 is my favorite Megaman game of all time and X5 is getting really close there only because of the soundtrack in X5's case But X1 had an absolute beauty of a soundtrack....just listen That's my favorite track in the game

And no,Blaze Heatnix from X6 is the worst Megaman stage ever from my experience, like seriously that stage was way too f***ing long and you have to fight at least 6 of those annoying mechanoid red balls that are stronger than the actual Maverick boss itself.....that stage was shit and I can never believe that someone at the development team of the X series thought that stage was a good level design...uhhhh I hate Blaze Heatnix's stage with ever viper of my being
