I mean, first off:

 

1. Xbox does TERRIBLE IN JAPAN. Playstation and Nintendo sell alot better.

 

2. Due to Microsoft's huge screw ups with the release of the Xbox One, many Xbox fans are defecting to Playstation and Wii U, so it'll have even worse sales with Xbox then it would with Wii U. Besides, most of the handheld KH titles were for Nintendo, so this would be a good marketing strategy.

Also Nintendo recent history with 3rd party support. They made big deal they had 18 games 3rd party games between 3ds and wii u in 6 months.

Pretty much the Wii U is no where near the level of hardware and the specs is no where near as great as the PS4 and Xbox One. Whether you like it or not, the PS4 and Xbox One have near equal specs and hardware, and the Wii U does not. If SE were to do this then they would have to drop the level of the game down to have it run on the Wii U. Also, even though many Xbox consumers are abandoning the Xbox, the Xbox One will still have more sales in the US than the Wii U. SE is trying to widen the fan base in the US as they already have a huge one in Japan. Also, the Xbox One will probably have more sales worldwide than the Wii U will have, if you haven't noticed the Wii U hasn't been doing that great.

That sparked a conversation.  Totally wasn't expecting to get the Wii U hate.  All I was saying was that it would make more sense to put the game on a console that doesn't mess the users over (sorry Xbox fans, but it's the truth).  And why would it have to be watered down?  Square does have a record of making wonderful games with limited resources.

 

But there were two screens for Days and DDD.

That was just used for the mini-map like all the other games of the (3)DS

this generation of console makes porting easier, as we all know, nomura said in an interview that he will have to change his development shceme that was used to produce preivious titles, nomura will be producing the game on pc and then adding the unique features of each console after this to the finished product.

 

if he can do this there is no reason it shouldnt be ported, reach as many fans as possible, this should be squares ideal right now.

PS2 had the worse graphics of the 2 remember GameCube had really good graphics.

dude here is a few facts.

 

number 1, sales in japan of the xbox brand mean jack #$%% when it comes to putting games on it considering literally every other japanese developer already does that. I've said it for ages everytime some idiot on here says KH cant be on xbox since it does bad out of japan and you people seem to ignore every other japanese developer putting games on xbox.

 

number 2, the wiiU's hardware is completely inferior to the xbox1 and PS4, and the hardware on them is pratically identical. it would not be possible to fully utalize the power of the next generation if KH had to be on the wiiU as well.

 

number 3, its extremely easy to make games between the PS4 and xbox1 since both are running on 64bit architecture and the wiiU is the odd one out.

Anyway back to my points

 

Kingdom Hearts 3 of all Square Enix games should be coming to Wii U also.

 

Just think about it.They built a huge chunk of the KH fanbase on both Sony and Nintendo consoles,with Chain of Memories,3582 days,Re:Coded and Dream Drop Distance on Nintendo handhelds.

 

It won't make sense for them to give them KH3D on the 3DS and then a year after they say:Hey you liked our series??? Too bad!! We won't give the latest entry in the series so you're out if luck if you like it and can't buy a PS4 or Xbox One

 

Speaking of Xbox One,it doesn't make any sense at all from a business perspective to release it on Xbox One while not even a single entry in the series was released on neither the original Xbox nor the Xbox 360.Dude not even the 1.5 HD collection is coming to the 360.

 

The game obviously is going to sell on PS4 like hotcakes,but if the sales of KH3 on the Xbox One flopped spectaculary just like what happened with the 360 version of FFXIII,they might lose a lot of money because of unsold units of KH3 on Xbox One because there is no audience for the series in the Xbox fandom,and if they lost more money than usual because of that Square might think the series isn't worth it and decide to focus more on Final Fantasy instead.

 

Again before you dwell on the hardware nonsense to look "hardcore",let me tell you something:Third parties are always known for twisting their loyalty the more money you give them.One time they say they won't make any game for a certain console,then all of a sudden they deny such statement and confirm more games for that console as if nothing was said regardless of hardware or sales.

 

They can make a Ps3 version as well as a Wii U version.Hell,a PS3 version would make much much much more sense than an Xbox One version.

 

Yeah it would look downgraded on Ps3 compared to the PS4 version,but you still selling the game to the same loyal audience and demographic of the series.

 

I assure you once the Wii U sales increases this holiday season with upcoming first party releases.Third parties will twist their tongue to seek money either by the Wii U sales or by making Nintendo fund the development of a Wii U version of their games

 

Not to mention that Nintendo consoles are always known for being family-friendly and releasing a "Disney"-Square Enix crossover that is already appealing for all ages would assure sales even for new comers who might see the series for the first time and might like it.

 

the Xbox demographic and audience is mostly looking for shooters,western RPG and M-rated 18+ games with a very few amount of JRPG on Xbox console.Does it make sense to sell Kingdom Hearts to an audience who wants The Witchers 3,Dark Souls 2,The Elder Scrolls and Mass Effect???Will they even think to get KH3 on their Xbox One over those games???

 

 

The hardware issue is bullshit.It's all about the money,and if Xbox One won't sell well(which,after all this anti-consumers policies I dunno who would buy it)They might as well cancel the Xbox One version to save money and make a PS3 version or just make it a PS4 exclusive.

 

It doesn't make sense for Square Enix to build a chunk of the KH fanbase on Nintendo consoles over the course of 8 years then give them the middle finger after KH3D which also was a sequel to KH2 just like KH3.

 

So Square Enix better off think about this before they lose fans who went out of their way to buy KH games on their Nintendo consoles to support them.

 

Or do they like seeing their fans fighting Master Xehanort on Xbox One,then all of a sudden the internet connection drop and the consoles just stop dead and you have to redo the entire battle all over again.
