SAILING to Bermuda Triangle

Recommended Posts

Hello all,

Yes, you heard correctly I'm SAILING  to the Bermuda Triangle for a church mission trip.

You may have heard of the fabled tail on the "Devils Triangle"

Haha, I'm  excited for this!

One of my biggest dreams was to be a sailor. I've always loved the sea.

I'll be inactive from 10th-15th. Wish me luck, and happy sailing to ye!

Alright Aang, have a good afterlife. No one who goes the the bermuda comes back, so it was nice knowing ya! xD

Tell us how it goes!

I find it a bit ironic that you're going to a place called the "devil's triangle" for a mission trip. In any case, I wish you luck.

Time for some wacky misadventures at sea!

Be sure to report when you got back if you are an alien imposter or not.

Anyways I wish you a safe voyage.

I'm assuming this is when you'll get frozen in a block of ice.

If you see any weird monsters or stuff like that, be sure to get pictures.

I wish you luck, and I hope you don't disappear through a time warp!

Seriously though, that sounds really fun. I'd love to do something like that. :D

See you in 1908 or 20566 :)

Good Luck!! Have fun on your missions trip! They change your life ! :D

Your going to die

Hope you have a fun trip :D

Hope ya don't get transported to the Planet Of The Apes. That place is CRAZAY!

Good Luck .

Be sure to take a selfie with The Flying Dutchman in the background!

In all seriousness, Have a fun trip and stay safe always!

Hey all!

We just docked in Bermuda! What a flip-flop adventure SO FAR! At the moment, I'm at the camp in Bermuda. And...We're going to be here for the next 3 days. Doing the lords work!

What Happened:

When we first set sail, I read all those myths. And I'll be honest, I had tons of curiosity, wonder, and fear. The radar read perfect weather, and we went off. We went in three different boats. We sang shanties, played games, and had a GREAT time. The first day, overall was perfect.

Second day:

On the second day, things were a bit different. I mean, you'd be REALLY surprised to see how quickly the weather changes  there. One moment, it's sunny the next it's an overcast. The winds picked up, the waves roared. Not bad, but odd. It remained that way for the last day. Still, no care in the world. Things were good.

On the third day, things got BAD! The waves got huge. The sun was overcasted by thick, dark clouds and it began to rain. Our navigation was a bit off, I suspected it was metalic interference. Jim, the captain suspected Aliens. ( No. I'm not joking )

After a bit, it just escalated. The waves got so big, we had to bucket water out of the boat. Relentless storms, that was tough. I honestly thought we'd go under. But I believe god had his hand on us! And, when your sailing on these sea's, you simply CANNOT take your eye off of the boat, and your surroundings. Our captain did, and before I knew it, a HUGE rouge wave hit us! I had no idea, the damage, and power those things pack! It felt as if, a giant had thrown you to the ground. The force of that monster was just unexplained... You could literally feel the force, and power of the ocean.

The captain ordered we check for damage. We found a crack, on the port side pontoon. He then ordered us to hold the structure using kevlar rope, tape, and just about anything that would keep us afloat.  I instantly thought " We're going to die" but, you'd be surprised at what some good o'l Americans can do. It actually held it together. For the remainder of the day, it continued to storm.

On the last day, all was relatively calm. Docking this morning. Just got into the camp, and we're going to preach to the locals later today. The portside pontoon is being fixed.

Overall: My faith in the boat, the weather, and the others cam to the test. I had immense sea sick. And what I thought would be a nice, easy trip turned into a hellish nightmare.   But hey, that's the sea! I'll be in Bermuda for the next three days. After that, another nightmare back.

I'll be online, but not much. I WILL upload the footage when I get the chance.
