This happens all the time whenever I enter a Final Fantasy discussion and people go and accuse me of being rude

 

But this is the Final Fantasy fanbase so I should've expected that already

Hell in the ending Lightning broke the fourth wall and said it was the world where she said you(us the players) were born in and that the crystal mythos no longer exists,hell the train station Lightning was in literally looks like France and the Landscape around her looks like France.....unless she lives in Lumiose city in the Kalos region lol

 

So how does this world lead to FFXV if Crystals and Fal'cies don't exist?Both FFXV and FF Type-0 still has Fal'cie,L'cie and crystals,hell the main antagonist of FF type-0 is a L'cie himself and all of his soldiers are L'cies

 

 

Also,if you cared that much about my review,why did you say you won't read it?

2) Actually most of the quests in LR are quite similar to MMORPG styled quests. Kill an animal, get something for me, talk to this one person etc. They just took that system and repeated it all over again, just like an MMORPG. There isn't much of a difference really, but if you didn't like the story then you'd probably wont like the side quests. Funny thing is that people complain about the same thing about questlines in MMORPGs such as WoW. I haven't heard much from Guild Wars 2 but they were pretty similar in the whole fetch-kill-speak system. You were meant to grind in those first 13 days, which is actually enough time to do at least 50 quests with Chronostatis abuse.

 

3) They helped me explain who the hell each God was, I only knew Etro, Pulse and Bhunivelze but I had no idea why Lidzel or whatever his name is there.

 

 

Also as a response to what you said to Sora96 about the epilogue

I read on a FF wiki page, not sure if completely confirmed but it might be according to it, that the world Lightning made was heavily influenced by Earth but isn't actually Earth.

I would love to believe its the world FFXV was in (you know, the city they showed in the first few trailers which was basically Tokyo) but they XIII and XV are in separate universes which makes me sad. I like it when games connect.

 

 

Also the only real problem I had with the game was the garbs. No I don't want to go into battle with barely any protection for my skin against a Behemoth.

I just wished they looked REALLY good but not overly lame. Like there are some garbs that make her look like a wannabe full-on war general, a seductress, or ridiculous. Can't we just get a mix of casual and badass, FFXIII's outfit was amazing. It wasn't over done like her Equilbrium outfit (but once I fixed its color it didn't look that bad anymore). FFXIII-2's outfit was alright, in this game it looks decent but still we need more Casual-yet-battle-ready outfits.

The leveling up system might not seem so bad to you until you realize you can never grind before the final boss once you reach the 13th day.And this isn't an MMO This is an action RPG tied with a time limit system and a day-night cycle that makes those repetitive sidequests even more tedious,FF12 had the battle system of an MMO but it had a normal leveling up system because unlike Toriyama,FF12's producer knew that the system of an MMO can't fit into a single player experience

 

 

I've talked a lot about this game more than I should and I want to put this page of my life away never to open it again

That's true, I was just comparing how similar it was and since I am used to it, it never bothered me. I like the idea of side quests.

Wait just to be clear I have nothing against you not liking the game, I just wanted to discuss my reason for why I liked it.

And don't worry it wont be locked if everyone discusses like a normal human being, unless there are thousands of posts (not just one or two) with a lot of rude content thennnn it will lead to a lock, but if it does just report it so another mod (if I am not on which is likely) can deal with it and don't respond to the rude post.

I'm a huge Final Fantasy fan,I've been with this franchise for a long time and even liked spin-offs that most of the fandom didn't care about like FF Crystal Chronicles Ring of Fates( a very good game with good story but a horrible ending)

 

It shocked me to end when I thought I'd never get that angry on final fantasy,only for Lightning Returns to prove me wrong.

I wont lie, some variety would be nice. Also put the time when you could talk to the person since some people appear at night or during the day.

Final Fantasy X was my first, but I don't remember much from it so I am happy its being remastered so I can play it again. I also played the beginning of Final Fantasy 7 but it keeps on freezing at a certain point so I couldn't play it again. Final Fantasy XIII is my favourite so far but that is probably because I didn't play it at such a young age so I could remember it and it didn't have any problems.

 

And no problem! You actually explained why you don't like the game instead of just saying it which is better than most negative reviews, even if some of them are subjective (like the final boss can't be beaten in your first playthrough in normal mode).

Speaking of the Final boss

 

the problem with him is not his strategy because I got it down already,it's the fact that he deals massive damage on his second and third form that if you wasted any potions or EP points before the fourth form that's it you can't beat it

 

And even if I managed to beat the final boss on my first try that still won't change the fact that my experience with the game was really painful.

His first 3 phases were so easy, I hit him like a truck with constant debuffs, Artemis Arrows and Equilbrium+ Attack (with the Ultima Weapon and Shield of course).

His fourth phase took a while, but I had 5 EP and I used Overclock to try to get his stagger up quicker.

As for FFVII, my brother downloaded it on my PC but I have so many games to finish like Bravely Default, Stick of Truth and soon FFX/X-2HD along with a play and other routines I am dealing with so it'll take a while, and I wasn't that interested in the game but maybe one day I'll get around to it. Oh and school too.

You get that garb from a questline in Jgad Village in the Wildlands.

Oh wow, sometimes I'm wondering how I beat all 4 trials after reading how difficult they are.

 

I didn't have to use Overclock, it wasn't a good idea to use it before the fourth phase. The problem weren't leveling, the problems was probably your equipment.

Were your weapons in the thousands? Like over 1000+ Strength/Magic?

I had the Ultima weapon and shield on my Equilbrium+

Then I had a Mogerstern which has 1000+ Strength (idk how much, maybe 1700?)

I also had Hades Pride which had 1000+ Magic (probably 1500 of 1800?)

I'm gonna guess you were overpowered and did a ton of sidequests,that's the only explanation I got for how the game was easy for you on normal mode,because otherwise this could've fit right in Easy Mode 

 

And yes all of my three schematas had their attack and magic over 1500.

 

On my third try the three forms were not hard but the final form takes forever to stagger if you didn't have a full EP meter

 

again,I didn't mean you can never beat the final boss on Normal mode,I meant that you need New Game+ to beat him if you didn't do a ton of side quests despite that I did over 50 sidequests
