KH2 Xion in KHII?

I was watching Youtube vids today when I came across this one. Watch it and tell me if you think it's Xion. I think it's Riku and Xion in the background.

It very well may be Xion, but then again, everybody had their memory wiped slate clean of Xion, so unless the picture was actually drawn during Days, it's not her.

They had the concept thought out of a female causing Roxas to leave the Organization according to the interviews. It just wasn't until the conceptual planning for Days that Tomoko Kanemaki (KH novels) brought forth the being known as Xion.

Nomura: The name Xion and her background story was thought of and constructed during the production of this title, but we actually had the concept for a girl character like Xion drawn up since Roxas's defection from Organization XIII. Therefore during the production of this title, we just worked on expanding on the ideas we had for that girl character and wrote Xion's story around that concept.

 

So no, it's just a random member, not Xion.

 

Edit 2: To elaborate a bit more, while it is possible that it's Xion (since a certain scene in Days does show Roxas and Axel watching two cloaked figures aka Riku and Xion), I'm more inclined to believe otherwise.

actually, your statement may not be correct, cuz in the intro to kh2, when kairi is holding her lucky charm, it shows a shell get washed over by a wave, then dissappear, as if it never existed, and it looks exactly like the shell that was left behind upon xion's defeat, so they must have had her in mind when they made kh2, also, roxas wouldn't have a good reason to leave the organization if xion wasnt around, so they must've had to incorporate that into kh2

 

it might be a random organization member though, after all, when namine erased the memories of sora and gang's kh1 journey, jiminy's journal was erased, so it would be likely to assume that any drawings of xion would be 'erased'

I honestly forgot about that picture. For the longest time I thought that it was Zexion when I first spotted the picture. I kind of think that it was Xion, now that it was pointed out. Namine could have still created some pictures of Xion before her death.

First, I'd just like to point to my previous post ^^

 

And second, those shells. We've seen only two variations of those shells: pink, and blue, implying that the Thalassa shells come in only those two colors. Also, just as the figures of Kairi, Riku, and the island itself disappeared as Sora jumped off the paopu tree, it's moreso that the shell being washed away by the waves had the same meaning as did everything else disappearing.

 

The lone shell (Sora), washed away from the beach (Destiny Islands) by a wave (fate) into the ocean (of worlds). It's symbolic, representing Sora's journey.

 

And you've made a very good point. Jiminy's journal was wiped at the beginning of CoM because Namine had begun to take apart their memories. It leads to the implication that if pictures of Xion were drawn, like the memories of her, they would also have disappeared.

well namine controlls memories so she could perhaps remember Xion and in 358 days (japanes ver.) there was scene with Xion and nami and nami said "Hello again Xion" Nami knew something and she is the witch over sora's memories so Xion turned into sora so nami remebered, and Nami knew if Xion took over sora's memories she will never survive so possibly

it looks like Saxiax and Xexion cuz it looks like gray hair maybe even Xemnas but it isn't Xion cuz i check namines room right after i played days and looked for some of the same pictures in days and they aren't there and all the picks she draws are scenes you see and can try to rember from cutscenes but none of them have xion

well she said that it would not be possible to preserve any memmories of her, so that leads to assume that she even would forget about her, but i cannot say for certain
