Every since that game came out I've been wondering whether or not I should buy this game. Its currently available on PSN for 9,99$ so now's the best time to pick up this game. From what I saw it looks like an old school RPG, with a big world to explore and tones of sidequests and that good, but I really can't get over the "cute" artstyle. It looks like something that belongs in a cartoon for little kids and it make me wonder if the story is also too childish for my taste. If the story sucks I won't buy the game even if the gameplay is good.

So,if anyone here played it,how did you enjoy Ni No Kuni?

I don't need no kuni

My answer:

Yeah it takes everything you like from the JRPG genre then blends into a batter with Studio Ghibli art direction to make cake worthy of any JRPG fan's nerdgasm

I played a demo at Gamestop once. It was kinda eh, to be honest. :/

The game is worth far more than $9.99, I should have you arrested for theft cause that's a steal. You on the other hand should have me arrested for assault for slapping you silly if you don't purchase it. It actually has a very good story. Better than most console RPGs of its generation actually. It gets really dark around the 30+ hour mark too so look forward to it. The story can be quite childish in early on but yeah.

I haven't purchased the game myself yet, but I've heard it's really good, and to top it off, the story is on par with a Studio Ghibli film, so as Winner says, you shouldn't let this chance pass you by on playing this awesome game!  I want to buy the game myself, seeing as how it looks interesting, and well, I'm a sucker for a good story. :)

It's worth buying

Ok ok. Ni No Kuni was amazing I loved the game it started off kinda sad and slow. But its amazing. Its sad it didn't get more recognition and it seems like a lot of people here already didn't give it a good enough try. You have to get into it. It was a very great game. for 9.99 Thats A steal you must own it for that price come on theres nothing holding you back. before it was released last year i already preordered it i still love the game. its truly amazing

It's great :) I still haven't finished yet though xD

Well,I'm convinced now,I'll buy it. I had fun playing the demo,so I'll probably have a lot of fun playing the whole game.
