Sora's story won't be over until he opens the door, if you know what I mean. (why does that make it sound so bad?)If they ever do a story arc not focused on Sora, I'd like it to either take place in the past, a bunch of side stories in the contemporary KH universe, or...Have a future where Sora lived his life, and basically became a legend known on all worlds, and the new character has no connection to Sora but there would be nods to old KH games through out the worlds.

No. I want Sora to grow and change, take on more mature storylines and characters.

 

Especially given the fact that Sora is basically the strongest (main) character Squeenix has ever created. And since he is the avatar of the player, I like to think that I'm growing with him, being able to tackle larger and stronger odds.

as much as i love Sora as a character and have enjoyed his games. I just wish he wasn't returning for the next game.

 

Sora's had a ton of games, all good, but for god sakes just give him some closure, let him stay at the island with Kairi and Riku. It feels pretty upsetting to know he'll just have to leave his home again and again to face danger.(as long as SE makes money)

 

besides there are so many more things to do with different main characters. different interesting stories to tell, it gives the freedom. or heck if they wanted to have a solid connection to sora make the main character his son running around with Max and either Huey Dewy or Louie. I mean look at how interesting Roxas's story was and the stories in BBS, never possible if sora was the main character, they gave us different interesting views of the KH universe. and while i know we will probably get some new characters with spinoffs(or current side characters) it will still be limited because it will have to be tied back to Sora

Nomura already confirmed that Sora is going to be the main character for the entire KH series until it ends. KH is entirely Sora's story.

I suppose it really depends on how Kingdom Hearts III ends. But honestly I'm interested to see what Sora's new adventure will be like.

Eh. I have mixed feelings on it. I think it'd be better to get an all new cast or at least a new main character. Someone that hasn't been in the series until now. But I also think Sora is the character you think of when someone says "Kingdom Hearts" so I mean.

I'm disappointed, the end of the Xehanort Saga would of been a good opportunity for a completely new story with new characters
