Heroes of Excalibur: Honors Age (RP)

Recommended Posts

Okay guys lets start!

In the beginning of time in the world of Ariena

There was a legend of a battle between a great warrior in the heavens

and a great darkness.

Wielding the holy blade Excalibur..

The warrior defeated the darkness

and scattered its body into 7 different orbs of darkness in Ariena

The great warrior also scattered 7 pieces of the Excalibur into the world of Ariena

In case the darkness should rise again.

A great rip was opened in the sky of Ariena

What seemed like monsters escaped from the sky

This day was known to some as the Darkest Hour

Because many monsters destroyed and killed humans

and set up empires to rule the nations

To others, this day was know as The Great Enlightenment

Because many monsters lived among humans and taught them advanced magical abilties

This brought upon a time between the old ways and newer ways of doing things

Now, 300 years later,

The Dark Ones, or the monsters whose forefathers set up dark empires have and still ruled the nations.

However, while the odds are against the humans and Holy Ones. (The ones who lived peacefully among the humans)

Recently, a piece of the Excalibur has been discovered, but not claimed yet

This could be a big turnover for the humans and Holy Ones.

Soon, the humans and Holy Ones set out on an adventure to retrieve the 7 parts of the Excalibur

And while they are doing that,

In the shadows, some of the Dark Ones are looking for the 7 orbs of darkness

While others are looking to destroy the Excalibur itself.

The tide of this RP is up to you

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

No Godmodding

No killing off someone else's character without their consent

Keep the romance PG15 (You know what I mean lol)

You may only control up to 3 characters

You are only a human in one location. Don't go somewhere whenever something bad happens in that location on the excuse of "I sense something" (Super long rule but it happens smh)

Have Fun!

(If I forgot any other rule, I might sneak it in there)

I'll start.

It's been about 3 months since a piece of Excalibur, specifically the tip of the blade, has been discovered in a far-off portion of the world called Bradun. It hasn't been found or claimed up until now. Many even doubt the omens and signs that point to it's location. Either way, the area was covered in ice and no normal human or "monster" could get there, or so Titus was taught. Titus Sage sat in his seat in Arlolin Magic Academy and sighed. He was late yet again. However, instead of pondering about how late he was, he opened his book to review notes about command magic. He was a general wizard meaning that he could learn all types of magic. He was said to be called one of the best ice magicians in the academy because of his expertise in ice magic. What Titus really aspired to be was in Carmaerd's Honors Magic Academy. That is when magicians from all around the world gather for 4 months, learn advanced magic, and end the 4 months with a tournament. In order to go there, however, he had to pass a castle exam that no one knows about.

As Titus drifted away in his thoughts, he snapped back to reality. He needed to start his adventure fast. That meant that he had to get better in magic. Titus read over his notes once more.

The tiles below splattered with blood. The Dark Ones shrunk back as the biggest of them fell. The girl's hood obscured her face, but the unmistakable magic wings, flared out in rage, told them exactly who it was.

"Raziel of the Rose Cross!" He seethed. "You will -"

A neat little hole was drilled into his forehead. The others now felt the fear. One tried to run, but a tornado whirled tomlife, throwing him into a wall. Two chaf ged but soon were slain.

"No! Don't!" The last one begged.

"You came and destroyed. Now your atonement is achieved through death."

His head rolled away, and in the middle of the carnage lay two roses, soaked in blood and arranged in the form of a cross.

The murderous vigilante herself was now hidden away in an upstaira room above a cafe, her swords and one pistol hidden. She herself was now unclothed, keticulously checking her body for wounds. A few scrapes, injuries she could quite easily explain through a small tumble. Easier then the stab wound from her first days as Raziel of the Rose Cross.

She dressed in her barmaid outfit (some people refered to as a wench dress) and headed downstairs. Another day of perverted looks and threats with her gun.

Her boss found her threatening pervs with a revolver hilarious, bless his heart.

Downstairs in the Cafè was a man wearing a zipped up white coat. He sat at the table with his sword drawn smiling as he polished it. The cloth he was using was stained a pinkish color in some spots while a redder color in others. The blade he held was a beautiful Rapier. Marked with serveral symbols. The edge looked silver while the rest of it looked like it was made of iron. As he polished he whispered silently to himself. His hand slid over the blades edge and then he held it up to the ceiling and stood up. He began twirling it between his fingers with much skill. Then he turned his head just as Rei came down the stairs. He expected people to come down later in the day as lost his focus, letting the blade fly out of his grip and go in through the air and straight through the table he was sitting at. He was looking at Rei with a face that said.. "Oh dear god im screwed if this person works here"

Rei saw the sword. She got mad.

Stomping over, Rei crossed her arms. "Excuse me! Now you'll be paying for the damages to the table. Never play with weapons mister. This is a cafe, not an arena!" She brandished her cleaning rag threateningly. "Pay out before I take it off you and kick you out!"

Rin almost started laughing as soon as the boy that was always late entered class, thankfully Suzuki glared at her from the other side of the classroom, making her shut up. The boys name was Titus, which was a rather weird name for her.

The only reason why Suzuki and Rin went to the stupid Magic Academy was because they both kinda sucked at their abilities...so they were here.

"Yes of course! Im sorry!" He exclaimed, fearfully before reaching into his pockets of his coat. Shifting through his money when he pulled his hand out a cross made of silver fell out with it he hadnt noticed that as he handed about (10? 20? Dollars these days i dunno) in coins.

(So tempting to say he ran without paying)

Rei snatched it up, then picked up the cross.

"Solid silver?" She frowned...then threw it at his chest. "Never draw that sword here again. Now order your food and drink before I kick you out with more peejudice. Understand?"

"I believe they learn to fight against the Dark Ones there. They would do the same to me, to you, to us. They would kill you. I hope you know that your kind sees us all as evil, and we may be...but your kind too, is judgmental. Oftentimes evil. Cruel, avaricious, arrogant, ignorant, envious, but still overall-- judgmental. The Dark Ones were already judged. But we judged you all too. You know this, yes?" "...Yes...." Joshua replied with dread. He looked off to Arlolin Magic Academy, the subject of conversation in fact. He had wanted to go since he was little-- or, even younger than he is now. The Dark One was with him now, forever, and he could never do so. It was never a choice of his. "With a bit of work, we may be able to rid the world of them. Not just the humans, but us Dark Ones too-- the judgmental. Let it be a caring world again, but we'll end up watching it slowly corrupt again." Joshua kept silent. Ancitif, his Dark One, was unheard by anyone even near-- they were direct whispers from his heart. He did not stand by Joshua's side, he stood within him, seeped into his body and soul, his heart, manifested only in the darkness of his shadow. Joshua's blonde hair sat raggedly on his head, his skin pale, his body weakly set alone from all but himself. The humans didn't talk to him anymore, nor did the Dark Ones, or even the Holy Ones. Be it out of fear, or just a lack of care at all...alone.

"Late as usual Titus," The teacher, Mr. Nixon said as Titus reviewed his notes. Titus could see Rin laughing from the corner of his eye. He sighed feeling somewhat uncomfortable that Mr. Nixon called him out like that. Mr. Nixon took his focus off of Titus and now faced the class. "Good Morning everyone. Please take out your textbooks and notes. We will be reviewing the Elemental Chart once again," Mr. Nixon announced now facing Titus again. "Care to tell us what we learned yesterday?" Mr. Nixon asked challengingly.

Titus stood up and sighed. It was clear that Mr. Nixon did not like him. Actually, he wasn't sure if anyone did. "Yesterday, we learned the in-depth science of the elements of Fire, Water, Wind, and Earth. We also reviewed the power of Lightning and the ambient elements; Steam, Dust, and Gale," Titus said as he took a seat. "That is correct. Today, we will review the elements of Light and Darkness," Mr. Nixon claimed.

Titus glanced outside the academy's window to see a boy looking up his way. Their eyes met and something dark shot through Titus. He couldn't explain it, but it drew him to the boy. Shaking it off, Titus went back to reviewing his lessons.

Rei retuned soon enough with the order, and set it on the table.

"Next time I kick you out. Two silver pieces." She demanded, hand out. "And then kindly leave and wreck some other place."

She was not happy, not at all. Despite her not so professional appearance in her wench dress, she did get the terrifying look down to an ART FORM.

Light and Darkness yay. Rin didn't even really need to take this class...however, she was required too. Suzuki had to take this class however because he needed to control his guns better. Rin didn't even control an element! She looked over to Titus, he seemed nervous about something, but this was none of her business.

"The mysteries of the Light and Dark element is a paradox for even the most skilled wizard professors in all of Ariena. This is because there are always new discoveries found within the Cosmos above our world. Some theories say that the battle that occurred in the heavens was nothing more than a big bang where scattered pieces of the blast were scattered about our world. No one really knows for sure what happened back then," Mr. Nixon lectured.

Titus sighed. He was clearly talking nonsense. The pieces were to form a blade. Though no one has ever seen a piece yet. People traverse Bradun for the piece because they were led by an omen. Titus shook his head. He'll know for sure when he finds it himself.

It wasn't long before the bell rang for the next class. "Alright for homework I want you all to review today's notes for a quiz tomorrow," Mr. Nixon announced in the chaos of bookbags moving around and people moving to get to class. "Alright next class is Sparring," Titus nodded. He took another glance at Rin. Then he packed his stuff.

As Rei cleaned a table, zhe saw the clock. "Oh crap!"

She sprinted towards the sfairs, theowner sighing. Rei was going to be late. Again.

Rei was given time off for classes all the time. She attended a magic academy and worked at the cafe for housing...and right now, as she shrugged off her dress and got her pants on, she was running late.

Buttoning her shirt as she leapt down the stairs, she slipped into the street and broke into a run, and once she cleared the busy town streets, she summoned the power of wind to send her at high speeds.

"I am so dead."

Sparring class, sparring class, she was told don't miss it...oh she was dead.

(I'm assuming the academy is near a town...and Uh...Its more fun with interaction >.>)

Joshua's face would grow paler if it could, but he froze, instinctively turning his head away upon eye contact with the student at the Academy. Their eyes shot to one another despite being so far, separated by the wall and seen only through that window. The student was lucky. Lucky to have gotten into the academy, to be able to, even. Surely Joshua would make it if it weren't for the darkness literally within him. "Sneak in...for one day." "Huh...?" He looked around him, making sure that no one heard him talk to himself. Ancitif's voice was unheard, luckily, unless it wanted to whisper into the minds of others. "One day. Listen in to everything. You will be the ears...and I can be the eyes in the shadows. EVERYWHERE...in the shadows. The student of light who you just made eye contact with, for instance. I can watch them from the darkness and you know that." Joshua quickly turned back to see his shadow, which was covered completely by an eye, then normal in a blink. He knew. Joshua hid just slightly away from the line of sight through that window, behind the tree he had leaned against. He walked slowly away from the academy, bypassing Rei. From Joshua's shadow, a small eye shot at Rei and disappeared. "I am so dead," she had muttered to herself. From Rei's very own shadow behind her, the eye remained. Closed...listening...whispering to her heart. "You are already dead--" Ancitif spoke to her once. It had continued on, but mumbled even as its ominous whispers, deliberately. Hiding something....

OOC: Sorry for the wait, I've been a little busy lately with my gaming.

Chase was sat in the back of the class room, packing up his things at the back of the classroom. He had kept quiet and without paying attention to the lesson. The reason being, he didn't even want to be in the school. His "power" didn't even class itself as a type of magic. The only reason he's stuck at this school is because his brother sent him here. He told Chase that he wasn't ready for the search for Excalibur and that he had to go to school and learn a little more about the world until he was ready. After hearing one of his class mates say that the next lesson was sparring, he smirked in excitement. Finally, he could show off what he was made of. Thanks to his bro's training, Chase's sword skills were among the highest in the class. Chase got his bag over his shoulder and walked out of the class room in anticipation of laying waste to some poor unfortunate soul that ended up being his opponent. Chase put his hands in his pockets as he kept his gaze straight ahead. If he turned to look in either direction, then others might get the chance to see his eyes which are always well hidden behind his aviators. Most people think it's a little weird that Chase wears his shades constantly, even when he's in doors. However, some just ignore him. Arriving at his next lesson, Chase dumped his bag down and took his sword off his back, checking on it's condition. In this world, going anywhere without a sword is dangerous, or so Dirk says. "Looks like it's fine. That dent on the one side is getting larger, I'll need to repair it soon... as soon as I find a forger who can not mess up a one-handed sword made of Adamantite."

Rei faltered at the whisper...bad move.

She tripped and hit the ground, bouncing twice and smashing through the door and landing in a heap after skidding. Rei didn't really move.

"That hurt." She said, laying facedown. Ridiculous, yes.

She sat up, rubbing her head. Just a scrape on her cheek. Miraculously, that is.

"I mea....no, no, I didn't mean to do that."

"...What...did you do...?" Joshua murmured, as if to himself, looking at Rei as she fell but then away by the time she stood back up. "I saw her imminent truth. And I told her of it." Ancitif said darkly, not surprisingly. Joshua began heading to her and was stopped. "Don't go. If she sees that you practically are a Dark One, she may tell the Academy. How do you think that will go?" Joshua looked away, walked away. Didn't speak again, didn't argue.

(Okay I was trying to wait for Neko, but she'll have to catch up)

Titus made his way to the gym where sparring classes were to be held. The gym was painted with magic circles and the air was thick with mana. Other than that, it was just like any large average gym. Titus got changed into his sparring equipment and took out his wooden staff. He had to be the best if he was going to go to Carmaerd's Honors Magic School. "I need to work harder today," Titus said as he took a spot on the gym floor.

"Alright welcome to another day of Sparring Class. You all know the drill. Everyone choose a partner and wait your turn to spar. Either that or you may go outside to practice magic. BUT NOT SPAR," The sparring teacher, Mr. Nelson announced. There was little confusion going around about who wanted to be who's partner. Titus sat down. He thought about going outside to practice by himself. Instead, Titus decided to lay back and see if anyone would choose him.

Rin sighed at the teacher. Rules were overrated.

"Yo." She said with a smile, sitting down beside Titus.

Suzuki ran off with some other girl, so I have no choice but to choose you." She said seriously.

"It is up to you if we go outside or spar, but I am a tough one...so choose wisely." Rin said with a smirk.

Suzuki was definitely going to practice his magic because he is a showoff.

The door to the gym burst open.

"I'M HERE MISTER NELSO-"

Rei tripped on the lipnof the door, and executed and impressive frontal flip the ended with her skidding to a stop in front of Titus and Rin. Ahe just laid there, looking at the ceiling.

"Ow." Was all she said as a few snickers were heard.

Rei laid there, stunned for the moment.

OOC: I don't mean to be a party pooper in any sense, but I would just like to make a slightly small request if it is not too much ask... I was kind of wondering that perhaps some people could make their posts a little longer than three lines? Sorry if this comes through as being bossy or rude as I don't mean it in that way. I don't have any right enforce what I ask, I'm just saying it's just a little... irritating that I'm the only one besides Schemer-san who has made posts of sufficient length. Again, apologies.

Chase watched as Rei tumbled through the door and making a fool of herself but soon turned back to his sword in preparation for a strife with one of his class mates. ("What am I doing here? This academy is filled with nothing but children who don't even take things like a school schedule seriously... ") Chase's thoughts drifted aside as he thought of perhaps challenging the newcomer. Immediately, as if it were disease to his mind, he brushed the thought aside and cast into the dark abyss of "bad ideas" he had in the past. Not because he thought that fighting Rei would be difficult, in fact it was the opposite. Chase thought of himself so far above everyone else in the class, that fighting someone who could not even walk into a class room without falling over would be a complete and utter waist of his time. This time would be better spent fighting the teachers or going against his bro. With a sigh, Chase stood up and decided he would do what he usually did. ("Guess I'll just...") And without another thought, a second Chase appeared in front of him from what seemed like a portal made of clockwork. This Chase was one that came from slightly in the future. "Yo." "Yo... I take it that I really did come back to fight me?" "Yeah, I just finished up my school day, so I thought it was a prime opportunity to jump back." "Anything I should look out for during the day?" "Can't tell, that's the rule, remember?" "Of course I do." "Cool, let's do this." Chase then held his sword and so did his future self, getting ready to duel. "Shame we both know who's going to win." "Of course, I know what you're going to do because it's what I did. Can't say the same for you though." "Yeah. It's easy to remember the past, but I don't know my future." "And I already know my past, which is your current time. So, this is the second time I've had to fight myself today. Once from your perspective and now from this perspective." Chase groaned at his future self. "I can't believe I'll have to spell that out to myself later." "Yeah, it sucks that pretty much every conversation you have, you have to have to live though it again. I mean, it was cool at first, but now it's just stupid." "You're telling me." Chase then ran at his counterpart, sword in hand, as their fated and re-occurring duel began.

Fiore walked out of the cafe, sword strapped to his waist. Upon his face was a big smile. "Im gonna hit my target today!" He said to himself before heading away from the civilization and closer to a deserted area surrounded by trees. He was a good ways away from other people. Infront of him, a clearing in the trees, in the middle of that. A post made of wood. There was a stream nearby.he took off his coat and threw it to the ground. Leaving him in a tight black sleeveless shirt that covered his neck and black pants. He held his left arm with his right hand. Raised it up at the post and thwn sparks of electricity began to crackle and spark between his fingers. He closed his eyes and took in a deep breath. Then he exhaled. Then wind blew and his hair went with it. Everthing seemed motionless, silent, and calm. As if time were to stop any minute now. Then Fiore opened his eyes. The dark Azure blue focused on the post. Then pulled his left arm back. "Now!" He said as he ahot his arm forward and a surge of electricity went through his body and out his hand then bolt scattered, some entered the stream, others just went to the ground, some hit the post like they should, whatever remained turned around and struck Fiore himself. He screamed from the shock and dropped to his knees. "I was sure i wouldnt do that thos time" he said to himself. As he caught his breath, stood up and tried again.

Lyssa crouched upon a wall in the courtyard of the magic academy. She watched as the mages started sparring between themselves. One set himself on fire. Lyssa held back a laugh. If these were the same mages that would be attempting to find Excalibur, then the Rebellion would have no problem dealing with them. Lyssa continued to scan the courtyard, searching for any kind of viable threat. There were a few fools at the doorway across the yard. One had tripped while the others were merely talking. No threat found. The leader continued searching the area for competitors. She laid eyes on a boy who was... fighting himself? Very odd... Lyssa tried to recollect any kind of magic that would produce this result. Clone magic possibly? Or maybe even time magic? Both provided a distinct threat to her cause. Lyssa needed to find out if her fears were true. She snapped her fingers and her clothes switched into a liquid momentarily before solidifying into an academy uniform. The disguise would get her in fine as long as he wasn't extremely observant. Lyssa jumped down from the wall onto the courtyard. She drew her blade and gun, and wandered over to the user. Lyssa continued watching him spar with himself, before interjecting. "Hey! You wanna spar, cause that'd be totes cool!" Lyssa said, using her best annoying school girl impression. She was disgusted with herself for it. So annoying, frivolous, and so NOT her. But she needed to convince him. So she kept up her goofy grin.
