Cucco 1,907 Posted February 23, 2014 (edited) My favorite game of all time is being ported to it...so I would be able to play FFX on the go, which would be fantastic. There aren't many other games I want for it though besides some games that are also on ps3. If I bought a PSVita i would be taking off a lot of money from my pc I plan On buying. What do you guys think? Edited February 23, 2014 by Death the Kid 1 143436611Xxcc reacted to this

Silvia Kuroi 1,480 Posted February 23, 2014 Even if none of the Vita games themselves catch your eye, there are a ton of PSP/PSOne games available as well. So there's not much worry on the games part. Of course, it is a $200 system, and if you really want a PC, it might be better just to save up.

bit 944 Posted February 23, 2014 Persona 4 Golden Uncharted: Golden Abyss Terraway Little Big Planet Vita While those are all amazing games, I would recommend waiting for better games to come for the vita before buying one

Jilly Shears 2,144 Posted February 23, 2014 Personally the only two games I'd be interested in it are Danganronpa and Persona 4 but if you want to spend your money sure go for it. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

What do you guys think? What type of computer are you planning on getting? The PS Vita does have good games coming for it but so does the PC. If you don't have a next gen system I would recommend going ahead with the PC but if you already have a PS4 a Vita would be cool for things like remote play on top of everything else people have said. Yeah, That's what I decided on doing. The pc could handle some of the newer games at med-high settings and isn't that expensive. The only games I planned on playing for it were FFX and the MGS collection, and I already have a ps3 to play them on, I just wanted them handheld. Caity 3,946 Posted February 23, 2014 You can generally get the old vitas (not the slim model) in cheap bundles with a ton of games (that make the new slim version seem ridiculously overpriced in comparison). Personally if it was me, I wouldn't bother. I only buy consoles I know I would end up playing other games on (regardless of when I buy those other games, had my PSP with BBS just for 5 months til my ex brought 2 games over and left them). I also prefer my PSOne games and all actually on my PS3. It's up to you whether you think it's worth it. You could also look at used Vita's since the slim model came out people would be shifting theirs and upgrading. I got my 3DS used and it's in perfect conition and came with all registration codes and everything for my account.

Ace326 79 Posted February 24, 2014 I love my Vita that I just got. I am also getting Final Fantasy X and X-2. Hopefully E3 gives us info on some new games cause th line up is still a little weak.
kalnet 1,198 Posted February 24, 2014 - 'Persona 4 Golden' for some RPG goodness - 'Injustice: Gods Among Us' for some quick fighting game time - 'Muramasa Rebirth' for some RPG Hack and slash goodness - Upcoming FFX/X-2 for some RPG nostalgia - 'DJ Max Technika Tune' for you Music Rhythm game needs To be honest, it's still not enough for the Vita to be a keeper to the masses but I've been using it as my handheld indie game device. My recommended indie games for the PSVita - Hotline Miami, Spelunky, Limbo, Guacamelee, Frobisher Says!, Sine Mora, Sound Shapes, and OlliOlli You can get majority of those games from consoles or steam but some exclusive like Sound Shapes, Frobisher Says! (which is quite a good sony's version of Warioware), and OlliOlli are great games and you can play those games anywhere! It all comes down preferences on what games you like to play in the end. Shulk 8,623 Posted February 25, 2014 If you're getting it just to get 2 games that you could already get on PS3, I'd say it isn't worth it honestly. I personally find the Vita to not really have any good games, the only one I want (Sly 4) is also on PS3, so eh. I won't be getting one, and I won't unless a KH game comes to it. Even then, I'd be reluctant and find a cheap model.
