Will We Get To See Yen Sid In Action In KH3?

Hey there everyone, how's it going?  You know, I've been wondering about this for about a few hours now, and I'm guessing some of you have had this thought come to your minds now and then, so I'll just go ahead and explore this little topic.

 

Okay, so as we all know, Yen Sid was referred to in Birth By Sleep as having been a Keyblade Master, but the old man himself said he had "doffed" that mantle.  While I realize that Yen Sid's role in the series is to keep a close watch on the balance of light and darkness in the worlds, there has to be more to him than that. After all, if he was a Keyblade Master, he must have been one pretty skilled wielder.  I mean think about it, all we've seen Yen Sid do so far is guide Sora and the others on their way to their journeys, and has informed them of enemies and such, but there has to come a day when he himself should wield a Keyblade once more.

 

I'm thinking that maybe during the half of the game, let's say one of the major worlds in the story, like Radiant Garden or Traverse Town, gets invaded by an insane amount of Heartless and Nobodies, would he take arms and come to the defense of the weak?  Maybe he'd come at the last moment, when Sora and the others are on the brink of being wiped out?  I've also thought that maybe Master Yen Sid could even assist in helping take down Xehanort by casting a powerful spell, or something of the sort.  Or maybe when the final battle is over, he comes and opens a portal for our heroes to escape.  All I know is that at some point Yen Sid will show his skills that earned him the title of Keyblade Master.  It'd be cool to see just what the old man is capable of!

 

But yeah, this is all wishful thinking.  But alas, it would be cool if we saw at least one scene or two of Yen Sid fighting against the Heartless, or even flashback scenes of him with Eraqus and Xehanort when they were training together!  All I know is, it would be awesome!  Well then, tell me what you think of this everyone!

He can't if he stops sitting in his chair stroking his beard for longer then a minute the power locked away inside will destroy the entire universe.

I don't think we'll see him fight, but I think we will learn that he was Xehanort and Eraqus' master.

And before you say he's not old enough, or that Eraqus never called him "Master" just a friend even though Aqua continues to call Eraqus "Master".

1. It seems Disney characters don't age at the same rate as KH and FF characters

2. Aqua was a new master, while Eraqus had time to get used to begin Yen Sid's peer.

Yen sid has been part of Xeanorts plan all along. Train Sora up, send him on a dream quest, let him believe he was to become a vessel. Merlin's fishy AF too.

Well , as he, himself, said that he had given up being a Keyblade Master , I'd assume he just "teaches" the "art of weilding a Keyblade" . So , I don't think we can expect much from him .

This isn't going to happen for he most like did something like this before but just want the others to gain experience, even against Xehanort.
