Do you regret buying the KH handheld games now that almost all of them are being released to the ps3?

I may not have enjoyed the Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days Theater Mode as much as the actual game (due to many scenes being absent).

 

However, I still enjoyed playing Kingdom Hearts Re Coded, and I am probably one of the few out there looking forward to seeing it in Theater Mode in _KH 2.5 HD ReMIX_.

 

As for Kingdom Hearts:  Birth By Sleep & Kingdom Hearts 3D:  Dream, Drop, Distance, I still play them now and again.  I really like the graphics and detailed story on the PSP, but the worlds (including two of my favorite Disney Movies) on the 3DS really takes the cake!!

I always wanted to take on Peg-Leg Pete and the Beagle Boys from Mickey, Donald, Goofy -- The Three Musketeers, and I finally got my chance in KH 3D!!

With the exception of Days, yeah. I feel cheated. I spent years saving up money for the then-expensive handhelds of a PSP and DS for games that were just going to be ported in the end. It actually really makes me mad. It's why I'm not buying a 3DS or DDD until they either go down exponentially in price or someone ports DDD to PS3. 

Who in their mind buy a system just for one game??

 

the DS,PSP and 3DS have games that are faaaaaaaaaaar better than BBS and the others like the Shin Megami Tensei series,the Persona series,Dragon Quest,Fire Emblem...just to name a few

 

the 2DS(a 3DS without 3D) is very very cheap in price now but if you wanna pick it,pick it for more than just Kingdom Hearts 3D....otherwise don't bother

To be fair, I didn't buy the systems JUST for KH, but they were the biggest reason. In other words, if there weren't KH games on the system, I wouldn't have bothered.

Nope, don't regret it. I loved Days, and Re:coded had a fun battle system. Yeah, the updated cut scenes for Days were pretty cool, but they didn't have any fight scenes at all, which decreased the "epic" factor substantially. I'm assuming the same will be true for Re:coded. Now, since the strong point of Re:coded wasn't its story in the first place, I'm not really looking forward to watch a 3 hour movie of it.

 

I never had PSP, so I couldn't buy BbS. Had I been able to, however, I wouldn't have regretted it.

 

As for CoM, I actually bought the GBA version of CoM after completing Re:CoM, just to see what it was like. Don't regret it, it was cheap.

Yeah, but you always single BBS out first. I don't care if you dislike it, it's just annoying that for a game you dislike, you seem to always focus on it whenever it's part of a conversation.

You said I dont; buy it for only KH....then after that you said you wouldn't bother with them if they didn't have KH games

I'm just saying that there are other games on things like the PSP more than just Kingdom Hearts

 

Again I'm fine with what you're saying,I'm just suggesting that you could broaden your horizons and try other games that are just as good as KH if not better

I only got KH3D honestly. So what if the other handhelds were ported? Even if i had bought BBS, Days and Re:Coded(which i dont like anyway), the only one i wouldve felt cheated out of is BBS, and thats only because THE Final Mix VERSION is included in the HD collection, which is better than the normal one.

No, I enjoyed them when they were on handheld, now i get to enjoy them even more on console.  Plus i can appreciate the new HD remastered versions more than someone who has just jumped into the series.

re:coded was better than DDD, but I got it from my friend in a trade(the game that I brought him  wasn't too much intrest to me.

DDD I played on same friend 3DS(unlocked cirictal mode for him), not that it was that a good game anyway.)

I don't (if I was in Japan and got the original versions plus the FM versions after I would probably be pissed buying them a third time), I enjoyed the handheld games I own (couldn't get COM here since I got into the series when it was too expensive for me to buy as it was so old) and will keep them even with my remixes.  The only one I could come close to regretting is Days simply cause I didn't like the game, I was much happier and into the film than having to play it.

Nope. KH is my favorite series, so I'll gladly go out of my way to play every game as soon as they come out. I already had every system, except a 3DS, but I bought one the day DDD came out just so I could play it. I doubt DDD will be put on a console, so I'm glad I did. I'm just glad I haven't had to buy any microshit systems yet. Lol.

I wasn't overly impressed with the DS titles, but I loved Birth By Sleep. I do not mind Birth By Sleep being ported because I play that game over and over. Really its only making the game better plus we get Final Mix content which is great.
