Roleplay Kingdom Hearts: Vanguard II RP

"It is amazing what people manage to build, isn't it"Celas said calmly to Leah."The things you learn once you leave your own world behind.""And here I thought our technological advances were impressive," Noctis commented as he rubbed his cheek. "Truly a sight to behold."The Dark Warrior then turned to the Gambler."That's too bad," She said with a smile, and a small hint of sarcasm, "Causing a scene is what we do best.""Celas, please don't do anything stupid." Noctis said."Of course not, Beloved," Celas said as she wrapped her arms around the Prince's arm, much to said Prince's obvious discomfort. "A lady is not supposed to act THAT way. Now, let's go inside. We have a target to find."Celas pulled Noctis inside the pub."This is not going to end well," Noctis thought.Once inside the Dark master looked around. After trying to find any sign of the target Celas whistled loudly. Noctis just forced himself to not facepalm."Hey! I'm looking for Long John Silver," she said. "I have something to discuss with him. If you could point me in the right direction, I would be very grateful."

{Twilight Town: Beach}

"Thank you." Aeleus said curtly to Sparrow's all clear to approach.

He began striding forward, though he kept a slower gate to keep himself as none threatening as possible.

"The Vanguard was to be a simply a group of concerned citizens from all worlds that would come together to prevent little problems from becoming big problems." He explained as he advanced. "As we are currently in the middle of several big problems, we've been doing our best to coordinate resistance activities and obtain information. Hence why we wished to contact you."

{Twilight Town: Estate}

"High security prison." The agent gabbled. "The citadel is one of the places we stick people deemed to dangerous to leave alone. It...it's protected by an Atlantian shield generator. Agent Sinclair and Director Locke got that."

He tensed up even more.

"Director Locke said that was to be secret. Said no one was to know. He'll be mad."

All color drained from his face as an old thought returned.

"And Miss Mors will be furious. She has no mercy. For Wielders, or those who help them. And I'm helping!"

The agent's words become less coherent as he started looking around, as if accepting the wraith of Miss Mors to come at him from anywhere.

Across the courtyard, Aqua considered Rydia's story. She had to admit, she felt the same. Gone for a bit, and everyone she knew was in trouble. And now it was her job to get them out.

"A little." Aqua admitted to Ghost. "But we don't have time to slow down, so I'll get use to it as I go."

{Disney Castle: Decolor Ship; Hanger}

Programs chased after Nocturne as he ran for the closing exit. A few threw discs, in an attempt to slow him down.

Lumiara cursed under his breath as he scrabbled onto his hands and knees. His eyes widened when he noticed a shadow of something over head. He threw himself forward, avoiding Locke's attack. The Ulthor Director hit the ground with the end of his cane, causing a mini shockwave to blast out. It caught the Graceful Assassin, tossing him a few feet further, and leaving him groaning.

Locke went in for the kill, his sword blade glinting brightly in the battle lights of the hanger, but Lumiara managed to twist his scythe around, deflecting the sword into the ground.

Kyle followed behind Aeleus, dismissing his Keyblade as he looked around.

[Twilight Town, Beachhead]

Knowing that one of his best friends is right behind him, Sparrow decided to take a gamble as he carefully approached Aeleus. He slung his rifle across his back and extended a hand, going for a traditional handshake to signify both his personal good intentions and to show that he has no immediate hostile intent. Well... I'll be nice, but ol' Hawk's got my back. Poor guy needs to relax every now and then, but this time I'll take advantage of his paranoia. He was attuned to his friend's actions and managed to hear the sound of neoprene stretching behind him; Hawk's grip was tightening around his own rifle that was lowered in his arms. "Well you found the right people," Sparrow replied to the silent hero, "in a way, we too are concerned citizens from various worlds trying to solve some problems.” He paused for a moment, then added, “as of right now, we’re trying to find the best course of action to deal with this new threat. We have some ideas, but the more options we can think of, the better. If you would like to help, we can start with that.”

[Edge, Ulthor Agent]

Admiring the work that Edge had done, Raven nodded quietly as he listened to what their captive prisoner had to say. Citadel? I don’t think they’re referencing the academy that we trained in. Nah, that would be too convenient. Besides, that’s a common name for a building. The voicing of the dilemma that the prisoner now had to face troubled the empathic medic, and his rapidly deteriorating condition was alarming to him. He instinctively opened up his left palm, about to slap an Esuna spell on the prisoner to relieve him from the poison’s effect, but stopped himself. Why do I do this when I know he won’t hesitate to hurt me? Why am I so… Naive? Noting the name of the location and a new person of interest, he made a note to relay this new information to everyone else when all this was over. “A prison, huh? Was that where you would have tossed us if you decided not to off us first?” He figured this would be a golden opportunity to inquire: If the prisoner answered yes, going there to free up captives who have a grudge against their organization just might be the help they all need...

[Aqua, Rydia]

Ghost the Enforcer nodded sternly at Aqua's reassurance. She, along with the others, had always admired the legends that usually accompanied anyone with the title of keyblade master, and knew it would be foolish to doubt their words. "We should be wrapping up here soon, master," Luna interrupted as she watched Sparrow off in the distance, "it looks like we found some new allies to help."

[Hanger]

Against all intuition, Nocturne stopped dead in his tracks for a moment as preventing himself from stumbling became an immediate priority. It wasn’t a matter of saving face for the guardian; stumbling and then falling would have costed a lot more time than what he was currently doing. His momentum completely gone, the guardian was about to sprint off again when one of the discs thrown by a program screamed past him, completely catching him off guard. Trajectory... His mental focus immediately shifted from his legs to his ears, and in an instant his head and eyes snapped towards the source of a sound that was rapidly approaching him. The thin silhouette of the disc filled his view. It was close; too close for him to make an informed counter-maneuver as his protective instincts, which were drilled into his head for as long as he could remember, blended with his want to escape from the place. He jumped in front of the other disc, and at the same time, crossed his sub-rifles together in an X pattern in front of him, with the middle of the weapons directly in its path. Unconsciously, his survival instincts were hoping that the momentum and force of the disc impacting his weapons would transfer to his body, giving him the boost he needed to run out of the place.

{Twilight Town: Beach}

"We have been making steps to locate the entry point of the Decolor's digital troopers into our worlds." Aeleus explained. "A team should already be following up leads."

The Silent Hero continued into the grounds of the de Wynter estate before stopping.

"I know a little of your organization, therefore suggest combining resources into finding the lost Lights. I am aware that you already have Master Aqua in your custody. Together, we should be able to save more."

Aeleus turned and looked at Kyle.

"And with a master here, you would have an opportunity to have proper training, if you wish."

Off to the side with Ghost and Rydia, Aqua took notice of Aeleus and Kyle coming into the estate. She was worried at first, but Sparrow seemed to be talking amiably with the new comers.

"We are going to need as many as we can find." She replied to Ghost. "Let's just hope they're also bringing good news."

{Montressor Space Port; Docks}

Rolud leaned against the wall with a slight smile as Celas and Noctis went into the pub, bold as brass. Still agog, Leah followed the duo in, leaving the Gambler and the Void Witch in the street.

"How certain is it that they will get into trouble?" Lacuna asked, tilting her head to the side as she watched the former Organization member.

With a chuckle, Rolud pulled out a coin from his coat pocket.

"Call it." He said, flipping the coin.

Inside the pub, Leah's star struck attitude evaporated in the face of the smell and dark atmosphere of professional sailors enjoying themselves before going out on ships for months at a time. She sidled up to Noctis, looking a little frightened.

"Is this safe?" She whispered to the prince.

The clientele of the pub turned to stare at Celas for a moment, though a few went back to what they were doing because they didn't know who the strange woman was asking for and didn't have the best instincts for when a show was about to start.

"And who wants to know?" A little squid creature with almost as many eyes as it had legs demanded in a squeaky voice.

He was flanked by two more impressively sized aliens who eyed Celas like a bug they were going to enjoy squashing.

{Twilight Town: Estate}

"It's one of the places Nabaat set up for those who resisted." The agent gabbled.

He opened his mouth to say more, but he must have seen something in his private hell that made him throw himself to the side and start sobbing.

{Disney Castle: Decolor Ship; Hanger}

The disc hit Nocturne's crossed sub-rifles with some force, but not as much as expected. Either the thrower was counting on the cutting edge to do most of the work, or it was meant to injure rather then kill. The disc rebounded off Nocturne's defenses and back towards it's program. As the first volley of discs started to return to the security programs, more were running up to corner the escaped prisoner.

Lumiara used the handle of his scythe to knock Locke off of him. He looked up to see the hanger doors almost closed. If it closed, both he and the Guardian would be trapped. Gritting his teeth, the Graceful Assassin focused his power for a short range jump. He disappeared in a swirl of peddles, to reappear near the closing doors. What ever was keeping him from teleporting out still made that short jump much more draining then it should be. Running out of options and power, Lumiara wedged his scythe into the opening between the doors. The closing doors stopped, but the scythe immediately started cracking under the strain.

"You've got seconds, Guardian!" Lumiara yelled before ducking through the door.

Noctis looked around for a moment before slowly raising his eyebrows."Maybe?" He said. "Let's just hope nothing goes"It was then that three people got closer."And there goes our luck.""Who? Me?" Celas said with confidence. "I'm a traveler, just like everyone here."The Dark Master twirled her hair around her finger."But if you want to know more," She said, the air around her began to feel heavier. "Name's Celas Caelum, Master from the Darkness."As she said that, her weapon materialized in her left hand."My husband, Noctis."The Prince nodded with confidence."And my current apprentice, Leah." She said as she pointed at the girl. "Now. Silver? A mutual acquaintance sent me to have a little chat with Mr. Silver. He is in possession of important information that we need."

"That would be wonderful." Kyle said.  "If it'll make me stronger and be able to help more people, I'm all for it."

[Twilight Town, Beachfront]

"We have been making steps to locate the entry point of the Decolor's digital troopers into our worlds. A team should already be following up leads." Sparrow nodded in acknowledgement, cracking a grin. With Aeleus looking like he wasn't gonna return the handshake, the squad leader retracted his hand; whether or not his feelings were hurt was anyone's guess. Not what we had in mind, but I suppose since we can't strike at the heart of this issue, then addressing the symptoms would be the next logical step. Although mildly disturbed about a stranger knowing about the organization, Sparrow didn't show it as he looked towards Kyle. "That's pretty smart of you to find a master to train under," he remarked, "and you picked a helluva time to get involved."

"Rookie." Hawk coldly growled as he hardened his gaze at the newcomer.

"Ah, umm... I'm sorry Kyle. What my friend here is trying to say is that if things get serious, you're gonna have to fend for yourself. Our priorities are to the master first. I hope you can understand."

[Rydia, Aqua]

"We are going to need as many as we can find. Let's just hope they're also bringing good news."

Ghost nodded quietly at Aqua. Everything so far was completely unorthodoxed to all the guards involved, and was really starting to get on her nerves. I really shouldn’t doubt these men but… Their matching outfits is rather inconvenient for our objectives. Dummies… She forced a smile and shifted her attention to Hawk. “Looks like we’re about to find out.”

The cold sniper had broken off from Sparrow after being ordered to and was making his way over. Upon arriving, Luna could only gaze at the old guard as he relayed the situation. He looks perpetually hurt somehow. I wonder what happened to him? Oh, his lips are moving! C’mon, focus!

“Newcomers,” Hawk calmly started, “one of them is a keyblade wielder. From the sounds of it, he was looking for a master to train under. I highly doubt he was being stealthy about it though: I wouldn’t be surprised if someone followed him. Something tells me we’re gonna be facing trouble really soon.”

“So allies then?” Luna asked.

“We’ll go with yes for now. We need all we can get.”

She looked over at the blonde boy, and stared at him for a while. I don’t sense anything bad about him… “He doesn’t seem like a bad person.”

“Don’t get too comfortable.” Hawk seethed through gritted teeth, shocking both the timid guardian and Ghost.

“I-...I’m sorry, sir.” She stammered as she watched him walk away back to Sparrow and Aeleus.

“What was that all about?” Ghost whispered, appalled at the man’s extreme outlash.

[Edge and the Decolor Captive]

Raven was genuinely appalled at the sight of seeing their prisoner bawling on the sands of the beach. He was pretty defiant and composed at first… Aw jeez those are real tears. He looked away towards the nearby waves, trying his best not to form any sort of sympathy for the prisoner. C’mon… You remember the last time you felt sympathy for someone… His attempts sorta backfired as the feelings of guilt and long suppressed memories quickly flooded his consciousness, bringing very obvious tears to his eyes as he fought desperately to hold it back. The timing was just horrible, and couldn’t help but have this sinking feeling that Edge was gonna give him trouble really soon. Taking a deep breath to compose himself, he finally called out to Edge. “So… I’m guessing we’re done here? I don’t think he’s in any condition now to answer anymore questions.”

[Decolor Hanger]

Knowing full well that there was the real risk of damage to his weapons if the discs don't cleanly cut through him first, Nocturne accepted the hits without putting up any sort of counter-maneuver. Escaping was the top priority for him, so much so that any thoughts of retaliation were quickly wiped away. The discs rebounded, and he quickly heard a sharp, hissing noise emanating from the sub-rifle that took the impact. Using the inertia of the attack to fuel his escape, the guardian was quick to turn around and really bolt for closing doors. A sudden thought occurred to him, and he brought the impacted sub-rifle up to his face. The sight wasn't good: right where the forward trigger guard was fused to the main body of the rifle was a large crack that extended to the middle width of the body barrel. Light energy was forcefully being ejected out of it like the flames from a burst propane pipe; it was obvious that the weapon was no longer serviceable. Frustrating as it may be, the guardian was quick to dispose of the weapon. Charging it with light from his heart for the last time, the sub-rifle screeched to maintain its integrity as he threw the weapon forward towards the enemies in front of him in a high arc.

"You've got seconds, Guardian!" He heard Lumiara yelled at him.

Fully aware of that. As the failing sub-rifle was nearing the apex of the arc, Nocturne was quick to target the weapon with his other good sub-rifle and shot at the weapon. In an instant, it exploded in a small but super bright explosion. He had blinked at the right moment, and was able to shake off most of the disorienting effects of the flash as he continued his now desperate sprint, knowing that it was a now or never moment. [Host decides if he makes it xD]

Kyle glared right back at the guy that called him a rookie, before going off somewhere.  He returned his attention back to Sparrow and said "Yes, I self taught myself back on my home world when I received the Keyblade, but then I heard about what was going on and got a summons to meet here in Twilight Town, I heard that other Keyblade Wielders would be here, and I was hoping there would be a master hear as well to properly train me, good to know there is one.  As for fending for myself, I've done well enough so far, but I know I've still got a ways to go."

~Edge~

"Yeah, we're done here." Edge said, with a curt nod. Then he made good on his promise. A swift strike put the captive into unconsciousness. There wasn't an antidote for the fear serum as far as he knew, so this was the best he could do. He picked up the captive and swung him over his back, then glanced back to Raven. "Let's get back to the others. I'm sure they'd be happy to know that we have a lead." The Ninja Prince said, gesturing for Raven to lead the way. He had no idea how to get around this place, and had already lost his partner somewhere. Better he lead. Edge was rather content with the information that his efforts had got him. Director Locke and Miss Mors, both high profile leaders of the Decolor. That alone was helpful. But the Citadel... That was extraordinary. If they could free those prisoners, they certainly would not be lacking for allies.

~Rydia~

Rydia looked cautiously towards Hawk. She understood that he was on edge and on duty, but there was a line that had to be drawn somewhere, and that had been unacceptable. Rydia bit her lip to refrain from speaking out. She had no doubt that to him, she was also still on the line of suspicion. After all, pair of warriors appear out of nowhere to do nothing but help? It was nothing if not suspicious. Rydia glanced to Aqua. "Do you want to go meet him? I bet he'd appreciate some tips from a master." The Last Summoner mentioned.

~Severa~

The Wanderer thought on what could be done. There was lots going on here... And with lots of goings ons, there were also lots of opportunities to cause trouble. If Ienzo was out of ideas, that simply gave Severa permission to cause as much trouble as she could. "Yeah. Is there anyway we could sabotage those programs? If we could silently weaken them that would only make resistance that much easier. Or maybe a way to do the same to some of their other arms or vehicles?" Severa suggested. "And do you think we could get a report on what's going on on the ground?"

~Neena~

The programs that had been pursuing Nocturne and Lumiara without stop were suddenly blown away in a large explosion of dark energy as Neena teleported violently. She would not let this man disappear. "KEYBLADER!" She shouted again, the word as much a slur as anything else in Neena's eyes. She pitched several blades of light towards the fleeing pair, the wind whistling as they ripped through the air, aimed to maim and kill both. This had gone on far too long already, she was not about to chase him all around the worlds to murder him. Not when he was so close.

{Twilight Town: Beach}

Aeleus watched impassively as Kyle reacted to Hawk's comment. He would have thought the guardians would be more professional then that. The Silent Hero watched the sniper walk away, wondering what had him so on edge.

"I'm afraid I have nothing to offer in locating the Lights at this time." Aeleus informed Sparrow. "Though we are pursuing any leads we have on the subject."

Aqua looked sharply at Ghost as he rebuked Luna. While she couldn't argue with the need for caution in these bleak times, his abrasive attitude wasn't helping.

"He has suffered a loss." She told herself. "Give him time."

"Yeah, let's do that." Aqua answered Rydia. "Want to tag along, Luna?"

Meaning her question to be an open invitation, Aqua walked purposefully towards Sparrow, Aeleus, and Sparrow. The coat the big one was wearing was familiar to her, on several levels.

"You are with the disdainful man with the spear?" She asked the Silent Hero.

"That would be Dilan." Aeleus answered. "He is a colleague of mine."

Aqua nodded, then turned to Sparrow.

"The group this man is a part of are the ones that got me out of the Dark Realm." She reported. "I'm not sure as to their motives beyond what they have said, but they have been of help before."

Switching her focus to Kyle, Aqua's countenance moved from being all business to something more friendly, though still formal.

"I am Master Aqua." She said with a bow. "Pleasure to meet you."

{Montressor Space Port: Docks}

The alien thugs staring down Celas backed off a little when she summoned her weapon. The bar went quite as all eyes went to the keyblade.

"You got one of them Key swords." The little squid said, his eyes gleaming. "Big bounty on on people with them."

There was a moment of silence as the whole bar considered what they could do with a reward. The sound of weapons being surreptitiously drawn filled the silence. Leah gulped, certain this was it.

Before anyone could make a move, Rolud burst into the room.

"Aha!" He said triumphantly, pointing at Celes, Noctis, and Leah. "Finely caught you! Boys, the first man to bring them to me gets double the bounty."

While the "double the bounty line" was of great interest, the "first man" got the sailors attention. Most remembered that they didn't like sharing and was jolly well sure they could take on three weirdoes and have the reward all to themselves, or divided up just a few times between friends. The keen of eyes and students of human nature could almost see the crowd in the bar go from a unified front to a collection of factions eyeing each other suspiciously.

One of the big aliens with the squid lunged at Celas, but was tackled from behind by two humans. Another group started to make a move on Celas, but bumped into a third group, and fighting broke out. Soon, the whole pub was fighting, though only the squid and his remaining thug were advancing on Celas, Noctis, and Leah with swords drawn.

Rolud smiled at his handy worked, and stepped outside again. That should give his colleagues a fighting chance. Now, to wait for the dust to settle.

"Wait." He thought, looking around. "Where's the kid witch?"

{Disney Castle: Decolor Ship; Hanger}

Nocturne's explosive bit did wonders in blowing back the lead pursuers, with the one it practically exploded on derezzing completely. A few quick programs were almost immediately getting back to their feet, but were blown over again by Neena's entrance.

Lumiara cursed as he straightened up again from his defensive duck he had got into with the two explosions that had happened in almost as many seconds. He felt better as Nocturne sprinted through the door. The Graceful Assassin thankfully duck through himself onto the outer hull of the ship, but took a light blade to the side of the leg, causing him to fall. His scythe dropped to the ground as the hanger doors started to open again.

"Neena, stall them!" Locke yelled from the control panel for the door.

{Disney Castle: Decolor Ship; Max Security Holding Cells}

Ienzo nodded approvingly at Severa's questions.

"Ah, good thinking." He said. "Now, let's see."

He held up one finger.

"We could possibly weaken the programs, but we'll need to know more about how they are coded. I might be able to effect changes after studying them. We should be able to get Even to help with that."

Second finger.

"They're vehicles should be susceptible to more traditional sabotage tactics, but they seem to have a maintenance schedule, so the sabotage might be found out if we do it too early. Again, I might be able to adjust the code on the digital constructs."

Third finger.

"And we should be able to get a report from Miss Nabaat on our current progress both here and elsewhere."

He dispelled the illusion he had been projecting to keep his and Severa's actions and words secret, then led the way out of the cells and towards the bridge.

"I saw this coming."The Prince just sighed."And so we are being hunted," Celas said flatly. "I suppose we can have a little fun with you guys."As the Dark Master began to focus her power, small dark sparks began to appear around her body. Her eyes following the trio's every movement. Noctis on the other hand moved in front of Leah to protect her. At that moment a voice yelled about double the bounty for the first man."Sneaky," She said with a smile. "I like that guy.""You should learn to pick your acquaintances."Noctis 's Armiger Arsenal was protecting the three of them from any object coming their way. The phantom blades spinning around Celas, Leah and himself."This could be the perfect warm up," Celas said, a hint of amusement in her voice and a faint glow in her golden eyes. "Alright boys...I think it's time to put you in your place."Celas's shadow lunged towards the squid and his thug, while slowly coming out of the floor in the form of dark tendrils.

{Disney Castle: Decolor Ship; Hanger}

Kyle bowed back at her "Greetings Master Aqua, I am Kyle.  If you'll have me, I would be honored to train under you."

[i shall append later]

[Raven and Edge. Beachfront]

"Yeah, we're done here. Let's get back to the others. I'm sure they'd be happy to know that we have a lead."

Raven nodded curtly at Edge, refusing to question his efforts as he quickly looked around at his surroundings. “Report,” he murmured under his breath before speaking up to talk to Edge, “Nice work on the interrogation. I’ll admit that most of us don’t really know how to do something like what you did without things turning… messy. If you don’t mind, we would appreciate if you can teach us the methodology of your actions. But if that’s a secret, then I can understand.”

At this point, Kiwi’s voice cackled through in his earpiece. “Hawk and Sparrow are interacting with two strangers. Aqua, Ghost, the girl and Five are a little distance away. I’m in the upstairs bedroom watching everyone, got bored and poked around the place, then found some very naughty magazines under the bed.” He heard some papers rustling through the earpiece. “Yep. Definitely some good stuff here. Really good stuff.”

“Save some for me.” Raven looked back at Edge and cracked a genuine smile of admiration at the Ninja Prince. “Lets head back to the master. I’m sure she, along with everyone else, would appreciate the information you have gathered for us. From there we can decide our next course of action.” Acknowledging the request, Raven was quick to locate Aqua and escorted the ninja prince towards her and the others.

Midway however, Kiwi had caught up with the two of them, sporting a very guilty grin. We’re switching places!” he exclaimed to Raven, “so I’ll be escorting him. You’re on lookout now.” With their roles now switched and now heading towards Aqua, Kiwi turned to talk to their new friends. “So, what’s your name?” he asked Edge, “Not the guy you’re carrying, but you! Also your friend! What’s her name? We’ve been together for this long and no one has bothered relaying your names to me, so I might as well ask in person.”

[Kyle, Aeleus, Hawk and Sparrow. Beachfront]

Sparrow nodded impressively at Kyle’s comments of being a self taught wielder and gave him the benefit of the doubt of being tested before in battle. “There’s nothing wrong with being self-taught,” he remarked, “but admittedly it’ll make learning the proper techniques a lot more harder. Still, kudos for doing that.”

Whether or not Hawk had noticed Kyle’s angry look when he decided to relay the message to the others was anyone’s guess as he came back to his buddy’s side. “They’re now aware,” he stated towards Sparrow, “we’ll see what happens next.”

[Ghost, Luna, Rydia, Aqua. Beachfront]

Luna was visibly disturbed at what had happened earlier with Hawk; she was pouting and looking down at the sands that were a few meters in front of her. Ghost had noticed Rydia’s cautious look and shared in her sentiment. "Do you want to go meet him? I bet he'd appreciate some tips from a master." She heard Rydia suggested, prompting an inquisitive look from the enforcer and hesitation from Luna. They both remained quiet, allowing Aqua to have the final say in the matter. "Yeah, let's do that. Want to tag along, Luna?" The girl looked up at the master, obviously conflicted between her personal feelings of staying away from the mean man, and not questioning the master’s decision. She nodded gently. “I’ll be with you.” As Aqua made her way to Kyle and Aeleus, both Luna and Ghost walked alongside and slightly behind her.

[Ok so… Sparrow, Hawk, Ghost, Luna, Aqua, Kyle, Aeleus, Rydia, Kiwi, maybe Edge and prisoner #6 shouldn’t be too far behind.]

Sparrow and Hawk sighed quietly. Despite knowing what Aqua’s footsteps sounded like, they were still a little spooked at the idea of anyone approaching them from behind as they kept their eyes locked on Aeleus and Kyle.

"You are with the disdainful man with the spear?"

"That would be Dilan. He is a colleague of mine."

"The group this man is a part of are the ones that got me out of the Dark Realm. I'm not sure as to their motives beyond what they have said, but they have been of help before." Sparrow and Hawk nodded at her input. We’re not trusting them wholeheartedly, but thanks for the reminder, master.

"I am Master Aqua. Pleasure to meet you."

"Greetings Master Aqua, I am Kyle.  If you'll have me, I would be honored to train under you."

“AND I’M KIWI!” The scout exclaimed as he arrived at the group, not bothering to check to see if Edge had followed him. “Welcome to the club, Kyle!”

[Decolor Ship: Exterior of Hanger Bay]

Pouring everything he had into his desperate sprint, Nocturne tunnel visioned and disregarded everyone and everything that was in his path. It was a first for the Guardian who had a knack of razing everything that was of any importance to his opposition, and considering that he was very obviously in the hostile's 'base,' would basically be everything. What little he did manage to see came as a bit of a surprise for him; it was to his knowledge that his exploding weaponry would blind his opponents, but seeing some actual damage was a little relieving for him. As he ran though the threshold of the door, time seemed to slow down for the Guardian as he looked down; all he had to do was clear the guiding grooves for the doors that were a little too close to his sides, and this high intensity stint would finally be over.

"KEYBLADER!"

Oh sh- Just as the pupil of his right eye dilated in acknowledgement of the voice, Nocturne felt a sharp, blinding pain radiate just below his left shoulder blade. In an instant, Nocturne stumbled as his body recoiled from the pain, his momentum being the only thing allowing him to just clear the hanger doors before falling down. As he quickly tried to prop himself back up for a combat encounter, his left arm collapsed under the weight of his body. Neena's blade of light had completely circumvented the Guardian's sloped armor as she had apparently aimed for one of the joints. He looked right where his left arm was joined to his body to assess the damage, and judging by his pained breathing, it wasn't too good. It came from behind and had tore through the underarmor membrane without much effort, allowing the projectile to continue into his body and actually ricochet off the back of his front armor plate, forcing it back into his body before it finally lost its momentum and dissipated.

It wasn't something he could quickly shake off, but the situation forced his hand as he stood back up, highly disoriented for a moment as he turned around to confirm that he was in fact on the other side of the hanger doors and to finally see the face behind the voice who had managed to injure him. I won't have much use for my left arm now that I only have one rifle, but that's no excuse to let whoever did this get away...

{Twilight Town: Estate Grounds}

"My first apprentice." Aqua mused mentally. "Not how expected to be taking one on."

"I'm sorry this request is not made in better times, Kyle." She said aloud. "I'll teach you what I can. First, tell me what you've managed to do on your own."

Aeleus watched Aqua and Kyle for a moment before looking at Kiwi and Edge expectantly.

{Twilight Town: Inside the Estate House}

As Raven went into the house to take up Kiwi's Old position, he was confronted by a short figure standing in a door way to a kitchen. The figure was wearing an Organization coat with the hood up, leaving no glimpse of a face.

"What is your interest in the Citadel?" The figure asked.

The voice from the hooded figure fluctuated, sometimes sounding like the high pitches of a girl, other times dipping down into the bass of a man. The figure was keeping his or her arm out away from the body, palms toward Raven to show no weapons.

{Montressor Space Port: Docks}

The squid and his lackey stubbled back to avoid Noctis's blade barrier.

"What in the-" the squid began, but it turned in to a screech as Celas's shadow lunged at him. He flailed his sword wildly at the shadow as he tried to back away. His lackey seemed too dumb to fully comprehend what was going on, so he tried to punch the shadow.

While impressive, few of the pub's inhabitants noticed Celas's power display due to their own little fights that still raged. Most who did notice what she was doing suddenly remembered a pressing need to be just about anywhere else and slipped out of the pub.

Leah looked around at the fighting with a worried expression.

"Shouldn't we stop this?" She asked Noctis?

She looked at Celas with a fearful look that lasted a second, then went back to watching the fighting. Her eyes narrowed as she caught sight of someone she knew.

"Was that Lacuna?" Leah asked, pointing to the retreating shadow of someone heading into the kitchen of the pub.

The central hub is where the hanger is.)

On the far side of the hanger door, Lumiara and Nocturne stand on a ramp that allows the deployment of ground units when the ship is landed, a modification to the original design. The ramp is currently locked in flight position, which is level with the floor of the hanger. The sides lock into the bottom two fins and is about 20 yards long.

Kyle nodded and informed her, like he had the others, that he was self-taught, fighting with it as one would any other sword, as for utilizing the Keyblade's special abilities, he'd had no progress in figuring them out.

Noctis looked at Leah and noticed the look on her face. He then shook his head."I agree to stop her," He said as he glanced at Celas. "The others I don't really care."The Prince reached out for Celas's shoulder, but before he could make contact he felt an electric shock on his hand. He did flinched back, but this time he did put his hand on the Dark Master's shoulder."I think that's enough, Celas." Noctis said flatly. "You're scaring Leah."Celas didn't showed any signs of having heard Noctis, the only sign was the increase of dark sparks around the Master."Celas, that's enough!"That finally made the Master turn her head towards the Prince."Uh? Oh! Sorry," She said with an amused tone. "Got a little carried away with that."The electric current finally stopped and the Dark Master's shadow slowly retracted. Celas then walked towards the squid and stopped right in from of him. She then grabbed him and picked him up from the floor."Silver's whereabouts, now."Noctis sighed and focused on Leah."Is something wrong?" He asked. "Did you saw something?"

Kyle nodded and informed her, like he had the others, that he was self-taught, fighting with it as one would any other sword, as for utilizing the Keyblade's special abilities, he'd had no progress in figuring them out.

[Twilight Town, Estate Grounds]

Having heard Kyle's abilities already, Hawk's expression and reservations about the new keyblade wielder remained unchanged as he gazed at the boy with his usual thousand-yard stare. Kiwi listened intently, and smiled at the boy who seemed so proud of his self taught ways of fighting. However, it quickly disappeared as he turned his attention to Hawk; the colors of his face quickly drained away and what joy he had felt with having more wielders to stand alongside them was now replaced with a sharp, icy dread. Oh no. He's remembering... C'mon man. Not now. Not at a time like this. Scared of adding in to the shadowy dynamic, the scout politely cleared his throat and decided to check in on his friend as he clicked the mic button on his lapel. The characteristic beep that accompanied an end to a transmission played on his earpiece, and the scout patiently awaited for the usual beep back.

[Twilight Town. Estate House]

Raven muttered quietly to himself as he made his way through the home, his weapon and mind at ease now that he didn't have to stick with Edge. "That blockhead... I swear its the sugar that makes him like this. But then again, changing things like this up without the boss knowing is what he would normally do, and that has save our butts during the war more than once. Can't argue with that. Maybe sentry duty would be-"

"What is your interest in the Citadel?"

Battle instincts kicked into high gear as the medic instinctively snapped his eyes toward the direction of the voice and placed his hands in a bracer position in front of his main body. $##@! That's it for me! I'm done for! He wasn't actively ready for combat; His rifle was slung across his back and a good second elapsed before his keyblade finally took form in his dominant hand. Had the cloaked figure attacked him, it would have sealed his fate right then and there. His breathing was ragged and his heart pulsated rapidly as he processed the question in silence. It was now that his earpiece beeped; a non-official protocol the two friends made up in order to make sure the other was safe. He ignored the check, and was careful to answer the cloaked figure as he slowly leaned back. "The captive mentioned it, and it's more of a curiosity than an interest. Why do you ask?"

[Decolor Ship]

It was obvious to the wounded Guardian that he was on the other side of the hanger doors, but knew that he wasn't out of danger yet. Shifting his focus yet again to escaping, Nocturne decided to peer over the edge of the ramp and saw...
