They're EXACTLY the same. Do you know what this means?

Also, no, it's the Punch-Out!! logo. The logos are for the entire series, not just characters. Basically you're saying the games were called Little Mac, not Punch-Out.

I do not think there is a connection, they are too different, but it is good that you are passionate to look into things. Sometimes there are connections to somethings with other media, especially if the author or creator, especially mangaka who find interest in other media.
