khven 0 Posted June 21, 2010 is it just me, or could days have been a really good game if it was on a different console/handheld. i mean, more cutscenes, deeper storyline, better graphics. im not saying its bad, im just saying it could have been better
Keyblader 325 Posted June 21, 2010 yeah, i might have enjoyed it more if it were on a different console
Corrupted keyblade 64 Posted June 21, 2010 yes days would be awesome on a console instead of ds youd be able to do attacks and set ups easier
NumberXIII.Roxas 64 Posted June 21, 2010 It wouls be awesome if they stuck to Sony stuff, so like KH 1,2 and 3 on PS2 or PS3 and then all the handheld runoffs on PSP.
Reversal 53 Posted June 21, 2010 SE really seems to be siding with Nintendo lately. Not sure how I feel about it since I'm gonna have to pick up another console; personally, I'd prefer if there were more Sony games, particularly on the PSP.
DragonMaster 1,166 Posted June 21, 2010 I thought it was great on DS. I don't see why people don't like it, the only thing weird about it was the camera.

It would have been nice to see new cutscenes (Though 70% of Days cutscenes were recycled from KH1 and 2.) The graphics would ahve been better, sure, but that wouldn't effect the game a whole lot.Instead I wish they had spent more time with the combat system. It is easily the weakest in the entire series. The lack of decent homing, compounded by a baffling lock-on system (How many times have you locked onto something behind you, just because it's closer?) If they had stuck with a more traditional combat system (Context sensitive, like the other KH games) the game would have been a lot more enjoyable. khven 0 Posted June 21, 2010 no, im saying with a different console, they would have more memory space, so more space to make the story deeper
King Riku 2,063 Posted June 21, 2010 Days was awesome on the DS. Because it was, it's my favorite game. Plus, the scenes where people stop talking when you push a button, don't have to look good. The real scenes were soooo much better than they ever were on the ps2. It actually looks like the characters are talking, unlike in KH2, and Re CoM. It's awesome. Keyblader 325 Posted June 21, 2010 I thought it was great on DS. I don't see why people don't like it, the only thing weird about it was the camera. its not that i didn't like it on that system, they pulled that together really well
hatok 6,413 Posted June 22, 2010 no, im saying with a different console, they would have more memory space, so more space to make the story deeper More memory doesn't make the story deeper though. It's the writers who make the story deep, and text doesn't use up space. The fact of the matter si that the game, for what it is, is not deep.
VentusX 20 Posted June 22, 2010 If it was on a different console they could of put on a fmv scene at the begining instead of them introducing the oraganization 1 by
hatok 6,413 Posted June 22, 2010 If it was on a different console they could of put on a fmv scene at the begining instead of them introducing the oraganization 1 by 1 Square could have made an FMV for 358/2 days. They just didn't want to put the money in. Haven't you noticed there are far elss Kngdom Hearst cgi scenes than Final Fantasy? Square doesn't pour as much money into Kingdom Hearts.Just so you now, all the voiced scenes in 358/2 days are FMVs, tehy just use the PS2 models. VenxRox 3 Posted June 29, 2010 I loved Kh 358/2 Days But... Days was good on the DS, but it could have been better in the PSP
heartless101 83 Posted June 29, 2010 I would've enjoyed it if it was on the PSP or PS2 even more
harplayer 2 Posted July 4, 2010 I agree that it would have been a bit better on the PS2 or something, but at least the console that it is on is easily accessible. DS's are not hard to find, not overly expensive, and it's nice to have a KH game that you can take with you wherever you go!
heartless101 83 Posted July 4, 2010 Even though it was nice to have Days on DS I would've liked it on PSP

hatok 6,413 Posted July 4, 2010 Again, text and model movements take up a few kilobytes. The story would have more FMVs, but the story wouldn't necessarily be 'deeper'
