King Riku 2,063 Posted February 11, 2014 Mega Stones. Should be. Allowed. To be. Held. In. The. Bank. 1 Grotesquery reacted to this
Shard the Gentleman 2,891 Posted February 11, 2014 Hmm... Not really I understand why they can't be. (You can trade pokemon to past games too via Pokémon bank. If you trade a megastone in, it glitches.)The more popular opinion would be:"Celebi is a great reward!" 1 Dio Brando reacted to this
『R』 570 Posted February 11, 2014 I remember I had a party just for Poke Bank coming out. It was me 3 teddybears, and a friend of mine. Anyways, Probably should have mega stones. I mean like we could have Charizard Y in X and Charizard X in Y. Seems okay to me.

So you'd only be trading the Mega Stones to X or Y.

Robbie the Wise 5,050 Posted February 11, 2014 Nintendo probably doesn't want an overwhelming amount of mega stones floating around.
Shana09 5,769 Posted February 12, 2014 I don't really see the point of the Pokémon holding the mega stone while in Bank. I mean, you can just take it off and give it to it later when he/she comes out of Bank. Unless there is some feature in Bank that I am unaware of, its just a storage for Pokémon. To have clones of the exclusive stones on X and Y respectively. I've seen people willing to start over just for this, later to see them disappointed bank can't hold items. Although I'd much rather have clones of lefties, ability capsules, etc, even though cloning does exist in another form.
Kodakliv 558 Posted February 12, 2014 For some reason my bank held the Mega Stone for my Lucario! O_O CAUSE I put him in my new game nad he was still holding Mega Stone, so there must be some trick to it.

Well, I'd really like to restart my X save file, but I don't want to lose my Blazikenite, since you can't get in game. So if the bank was able to hold items, I could just save it with the Torchic. Ruby Rose 8,591 Posted February 12, 2014 I think we can all agree- Pokémon Bank would be even cooler if you could sell your Pokémon for real money- those with Action Replays would be loaded

King Riku 2,063 Posted February 12, 2014 Do you have Y because you can trade it to another game if its an issue. Not yet, I'd like to though. But I only have one 3DS, so I don't think I'd be able to save the Blazikenite that way. But, if I had Y, I wouldn't even restart my X save file, I'd just keep replaying Y. Tbh you bring up a good point now that I think about it but again I suppose this is Nintendo's way of abusing the system.
