『R』 570 Posted February 11, 2014 (edited) 1 - EV trained? 2 - Which one are you mega evolving 3 - Moves? UGHHH too much typing. Ok I will do #3 first. Ummm Delphox- Mystical Fire, Fire Blast, Solar Beam, Power Up Punch Mewtwo- Aura Sphere, Recover, Thunderbolt, Psychic Blastoise- Hydro Pump, Surf, Waterfall, Dark Pulse Pidgeot- Fly, Air Cutter, Aerial Ace, Hurricane Lucario- Aura Sphere, Strength, Dark Pulse, Power Up Punch Xearnas- Dazzling Gleam, Moonblast, Cut, Night Slash #2- You can Mega Evolve Each. It's a hidden value which gives boosts to your Pokemon's stats. You can see what EVs you have by looking in Super Training. 1 『R』 reacted to this
Shard the Gentleman 2,891 Posted February 11, 2014 Sounds like a good team. However, have you been Super Training them, and have you been using Pokémon Amie quite often? Also, what version do you own, X or Y?

Shard the Gentleman 2,891 Posted February 11, 2014 X and NONE.....(No Amie no Super Training.) I would suggest doing some Super Training then. It's a great way to boost your Pokémon stats. You can either use training bags, or Super Training regimens. In the regimen, its sort of like a mini game, and its more rewarding. Training bags, your Pokémon can hit while you are walking around in-game, which is useful if you don't have time to train them and want to do something else.Pokémon Amie isn't necessary, but it really does help, especially for Competitive battling. OmegaForte 1,674 Posted February 11, 2014 (edited) Pokemon Amie doesn't help in competitive battling. None of the effects are present on battles outside of in-game trainers. (Not counting Battle Maison trainers) But Amie is to see Pokemon look kawaii! Punching bags is so October 2013... Well besides helping in very specific EV point distributions, you should do battle hordes. All you need is a all-hitting move and Sweet Scent. Google up lists of where to train for hordes. Jilly Shears 2,144 Posted February 11, 2014 I think the question really is whether you plan on using this for competitive battling or not. Like I guess it's good if you just want to just beat the story, but if this is for fighting against people on Battle Spot or whatever, you might need to rethink your team. The metagame can get really viscous if you're not prepared. 1 Robbie the Wise reacted to this
Robbie the Wise 5,050 Posted February 12, 2014 For personal and friendly competition the team is fine but for serious competition it needs a lot of work.
Shana09 5,769 Posted February 12, 2014 UGHHH too much typing. Ok I will do #3 first. Ummm Delphox- Mystical Fire (Replace with another move, like Psychic)) , Fire Blast, Solar Beam (Replace with Calm Mind), Power Up Punch (Not Needed, replace with Shadow Ball) Mewtwo- Aura Sphere, Recover, Thunderbolt, Psychic Blastoise- Hydro Pump, Surf, Waterfall (Replace with Ice Beam), Dark Pulse Pidgeot- Fly, Air Cutter (Replace with Return), Aerial Ace, Hurricane (Replace with U turn) Lucario- Aura Sphere (Replace with Close Combat), Strength (Delete this and Replace with Extremespeed) , Dark Pulse (Replace with Earthquake or Sword Dance), Power Up Punch Xearnas- Dazzling Gleam, Moonblast, Cut (Replace with Geomancy while having White Herb as an item), Night Slash (Replace with Thunderbolt) #2- You can Mega Evolve Each. If I were to put it in order it would go 1. mewtwo 2. blastoise 3.lucario. Though You can only mega evolve one in battle..... #1- NONE....... Edited in quote. IMO Pidgeot is not that good and neither is Delphox. I don't think Blastoise is good either but idk about Mega Blastoise. Rest are alright, honestly I think the best way to battle competitively is with the Pokémon you like and your own little techniques. 2 Weedanort and Jilly Shears reacted to this
Vanitas 127 Posted February 12, 2014 There's also the super tedious IV breeding if you want more stats plus EVs.
Orchestrafanboy19 101 Posted February 12, 2014 Depends, are you planning on competitively fighting?
Hero of Winds 2,576 Posted February 12, 2014 I just did a cute pokemon tournament and my Meowth wrecked it with it's speed IV. I bred an entire day and a half's worth of Meowths for 6 ivs, ended up with 5 for now. I'd breed your pokemon for higher ivs and ev train them for what their worth. I wasn't able to EV train my Meowth because I had hatched it on the day of tournament, but if I were to EV train it, I'd max out its Sp. Atk, and Speed as that was what I built him for the most with Thunder and Shadow Ball being his biggest moves. For the most part, I'd say this is good for story, bad for competitive.
