Naruto: The Next Will (Roleplay with Firaga Sensei and Spiderfreak1011)

Hikari glared at Itachi. "I'm with Shogo and Ryuichi... And don't ever call me Uzumaki." There was obvious anger in her last sentence.
 
Kiyoshi nodded. "Yep, that's my older brother! He's a little silly, but he's a good fighter!" She smiled.
 
Koukon looked a bit upset. "What's that supposed to mean...?" His sister giggled.
 
 
Kiyoshi grinned. "I'm just glad to know that you're going to be on this mission, too! It makes me feel a lot safer!"
 
Rock Lee cried tears of joy for his son. "Yes, my son! Spread your youthful knowledge with your friends! You are in the springtime of your youths, you must unite together and share this precious time of your lives! There is no time for senseless bickering, you must all work as one to achieve your youthful goals!" He gave his son a thumbs up, proud of his performance.
 
Naruto turned to Sakura, laughing. "You know, they remind me of our class back when we were kids. It's funny watching them..."
 
Sakura grinned. "Yeah... I suppose that means we've taught them well."
 
"Right... Anyways, time to start the debriefing." Naruto turned to the group in front of him. "Alright, everyone! I've gathered you all here for a joint mission. There are rumors about illegal activities being carried out within the borders of the Land of Fire, and I'd like for you to investigate into this. Our jonin are currently carrying out other duties, so you're the best we have. However, I'm proud of your performances so far, and I believe you're more than capable of doing this." The Hokage smiled at the group before him. "Now, we'll split into two teams. Each will investigate the two most suspicious areas." He pulled out a few files.
 
"The first team will consist of Koukon Yougan, Kinatama Mottoyoi, Itachi Uchiha, Hikari Uzumaki, Ryuichi, and Shogo Hyuga, who will be led by Yumi Uzumaki and Rock Lee." He nodded at the two jonin, who nodded back. "The second team is Inoue Yamanama, Shikana Nara, Chosan Akimichi, Banken Inuzuka, Tenshi Yami, and Kiyoshi Yougan, who will be led by Konohamaru Sarutobi, and... uh... Fujiri Aburame!" Naruto was embarrassed that he'd forgotten the name of yet another Aburame clan member... He handed a file to Yumi, and another to Konohamaru. "I trust you two with these documents. I want to remind you all that this is a reconnaissance mission, and that you are not to fight anyone that you encounter. Now then... You're all dismissed! Good luck with your mission!" The Hokage dismissed the genin and jonin, who all walked outside.
 
After leaving, Konohamaru led his team off towards the village gates. Yumi looked over the documents that the Hokage had given her, and looked up at her team. "Alright, I've memorized the general area we're supposed to search." She put the documents away. "If you don't mind, I'll be leading the way, Lee-sensei."
 
"I am okay with that! You are also in the springtime of your youth, you should have the opportunity to take command over those older than you at times as well!" Rock Lee gave Yumi one of his signature thumb-ups.
 
"Thank you." Yumi smiled, Lee's strange personality never failing to amuse her. "Now then... Let's move out, team." She led her group towards the village gates...

Itachi looked towards Hikari. "Oh sorry, did I strike a nerve? What's wrong with calling you your real last name anyway?
 
Tenshi looked towards Koukon. "I'm just saying, i hope you're able to compete with the top of your class." Then he put his hand on his shoulder. "But then again, You're Kiyoshi's sister. You'll probably do fine. Good luck out there!"
 
Banken heard Kiyoshi's comment about being safe. "Of course you'll be safe Kiyo, Tenshi and I are more than enough to protect you."
 
 

Kinatama
 
"Joint mission huh? Looks like I got more lives to take into account. Don't worry about it, though, I got your backs everybody. Team Yumi's second-in-command in on duty," Kinatama said, as he followed his sensei and the others towards the gate. Really though, I wonder if I can manage to save them all if we get into great danger... though, I doubt that might happen... agh, no, it could. We're ninja after all. Our lives are always in dangerous.
 
Shogo
 
"Hmph. Alright then, lets head out, and hopefully we won't have to deal with any nonsense along the way," Shogo said, following his teammates and sensei. This might prove to be a great chance to test my abilities, he said in his mind, his only fist clenching.
 
Ryuichi
 
"Thank you very much, Dad Sensei!" Ryuichi cried, giving an identical thumbs to his father and sensei, as he followed him and the others towards the gate, his eyes still burning with fire.
 
Chosan
 
"Mm, alright. Let's go," Chosan said through his chips as he followed the others towards the gate. 
 
Fujiri

Itachi looked again towards Hikari. "Ok then Uzumaki, i guess we're heading off together. You ready for this?" He walked towards the gate with his group. Great, all of us are going together. Here we go again. It'll be interesting to see how Hikari acts when she's with her friends though.

Tenshi looked towards Koukon. "I'm just saying, i hope you're able to compete with the top of your class." Then he put his hand on his shoulder. "But then again, You're Kiyoshi's sister. You'll probably do fine. Good luck out there!"

Inoue tried squirming out of Shikana's grip. "Hey, let me go! I can walk on my own!" He shouted, trying to free himself from his teammate's grip.

 

 

Kinatama

Hikari sped up a bit, catching up to Koukon and Kinatama. "That Itachi guy's your teammate?" She whispered to them, making sure Itachi couldn't hear her. "I feel sorry for you guys... It's only been five minutes, and the guy's already trying to get on my nerves."

Shikana: "Alright fine." She let go of Inoue, who then fell to the floor and kept walking towards her sensei. "So Sensei, do you really think we're capable of this mission?"

 

Konohamaru: "Yes Shikana, it's going to be fine." He said calmly. "I'm sure you and your team are fine. Just watch out for Aburame's group, make sure they don't get into serious trouble."

I am a Jonin of this village, and the newest breed of the Aburame Clan, one of the premier clans to come from the Hidden Leaf. We, including you and I, plus Yumi and Lee, are all the leaders of this mission. Even if my own students forget my name from time to time, they will remember me through my actions, and my leadership," And that includes whether or not I can show them my power on this mission. Most likely... I will.

He then responded to Hikari's whispers: "Yeah, I know. Me and string bean here still aren't used to this guy. At least now we can all deal with him together," Kinatama said sarcastically.

"Yeah, we've known each other for years!" Koukon grinned at his sensei.

 

"What he said." Hikari responded, keeping fairly quiet.

 

Inoue

Inoue looked over at his brother, Chosan. "Yo, Chosan! You sure you're up to this? You look scared! You're a ninja, you've got to be ready for anything!" He egged his brother on.

"What, me? Nah, nah!" Chosan said, swallowing his chips quickly so he could avoid talking too much with his mouth full. "I got this, bro! I've been sharpening up a couple tricks and I'm ready to bust them out! Maybe, just maybe, even you might not be able to handle it!" Chosan said, inadvertently. Only his brother Inoue could make him break out of his normally kind and humble cocoon. In the back of his head, he was wondering how that all came out in the first place, like he always did.

He went up to Ryuichi. "So, i'm guessing your Lee Sensei's son. What's it like? Also, can you open any of the inner gates?"

 

He then looked at Shogo. "And what about you? Are you good in battle, even with that handicap?" He pointed to his arm.

"Yes, that is correct," Ryuichi replied, throwing up a thumb pointing at himself. "I am the son of the Hidden Leaf's Beautiful Green Beast, Rock Lee! My name is Ryuichi Lee, The Hidden Leaf's Red And Green Typhoon! I am fully dedicated to upholding my father's legacy, and yes, I am a user of the Eight Gates! However, I cannot tell you how many Gates I have unlocked. That, my fellow Leaf ninja, is a secret," Ryuichi added, his eyes flashing to Lee for a quick second and giving him a thumbs up.

"Tch, why even ask that?" Shogo scoffed. "You of all people should know that the Hyuga are masterful ninjas "This arm of mine makes no difference to that in the slightest." Shogo's pale eyes crinkled in anger at the Uchiha boy. He hated when his arm was brought up in a way that made him feel inferior.

My name is Ryuichi Lee, The Hidden Leaf's Red And Green Typhoon! I am fully dedicated to upholding my father's legacy, and yes, I am a user of the Eight Gates! However, I cannot tell you how many Gates I have unlocked. That, my fellow Leaf ninja, is a secret," Ryuichi added, his eyes flashing to Lee for a quick second.

"Tch, why even ask that?" Shogo scoffed. "You of all people should know that the Hyuga are masterful ninjas "This arm of mine makes no difference to that in the slightest." Shogo's pale eyes crinkled in anger at the Uchiha boy. He hated when his arm was brought up in a way that made him feel inferior.

"Fair enough then Ryuichi, i have a pretty good guess at how many anyway." Itachi said slyly. "I look forward to seeing you in action. Are you like you're father in that you don't have an affinity for Ninjutsu or Genjutsu aswell?"

 

"Its alright, i'm sure a Hyuga master like you having a handicap like that only serves to make you stronger than you would be normally due to having to train harder." He said with a chuckle. "I get the feeling you're not that fond of Hikari though."

"Heh, yeah right! We both know who's the stronger one out of the two of us!" Inoue bragged to his brother, not caring if it made him more angry or not. "You'd better hope that your new jutsu will be enough for whoever our enemy is!"

Ryuichi

However, there is something that does bother me about her... but... I'd rather not say," Shogo's eyes shifed down to the ground as he said this, the corner of his eye picking up the girl in question. He hid a small glance of what could appear to be Killing Intent as he focused on the ground for a few more moments and quickly shifted his eyes back up and looking forward.

The young muscly boy gave a grunt in aggreeance with Koukon, and also tuned into what Hikari had whispered. "You know what? Ignore him at this point. He's only going to get worse they more time we allow him to run his mouth," Kinatama whispered. 

 

Chosan

 

"I guess we'll see then, won't we bro?!" Chosan fired back, crumpling up his chip bag and throwing it behind his shoulder. He was actually surprised that he was keeping his bluff for this long.

"Alright then, i'm looking forward to seeing your power on the battlefield Shogo. I'm sure you'll live up to your name, that arm wouldn't bring any true ninja down." Itachi said.

The young muscly boy gave a grunt in aggreeance with Koukon, and also tuned into what Hikari had whispered. "You know what? Ignore him at this point. He's only going to get worse they more time we allow him to run his mouth," Kinatama whispered. 

 

Chosan

 

"I guess we'll see then, won't we bro?!" Chosan fired back, crumpling up his chip bag and throwing it behind his shoulder. He was actually surprised that he was keeping his bluff for this long.

Koukon

"Yeah, don't listen to the guy. He's just being a jerk for the sake of being a jerk. The guy's got nothing better to do aside from piss people off." He muttered, seemingly angered. He could manage being made fun of himself, but the fact that Hikari was becoming upset made Koukon mad. He was close to knocking some sense into the guy, but decided that it would look unprofessional in front of his sensei.

 

Hikari

Hikari nodded. "Yeah, you're right... I should just stop making him happier by falling for his crap." She sighed, slightly frustrated with the Uchiha. I'm so close to beating the crap out of that kid. She clenched her fist.

 

Inoue

"I guess, even though we all know who's the better fighter of the two of us!" Inoue fueled the sibling rivalry.

 

 

 

Yumi

Yumi's group eventually reached the village gates. "Alright, here we are... Now, we head to our real destination. Just follow me, and keep an eye out for anyone suspicious. And remember what the Hokage said; do NOT let any potential enemies see you! We're not here to fight." Yumi warned the team again, ensuring that they wouldn't screw up. "Now then... Let's go!" She ran off into the forest, and leaped up into the trees.

 

Koukon

"Alright, let's do this!" The genin grinned, excited to get going. I might've screwed up on the last mission, but I'll prove that I'm a great ninja this time! I won't ever screw up in front of Yumi-sensei again. There was a determined look in his eyes. He jumped up into the trees, going with Yumi.

 

Hikari

Hikari noticed the look in Koukon's eyes. Ugh... Does that idiot ever listen to orders? He'd better not get us in trouble on this mission, I don't want to get into any fights. Of course, if I have to, I guess I'd back him up... She sighed, and followed the others.

 

Rock Lee

"Let us be moving on! Come, my son, you must show the power of your youth to the world! Go! Go! Gooo!" The jonin jumped up in excitement, following Yumi and the others.

Yumi stopped on a branch, and signaled for the others to stop as well. "Okay... We're about to enter the target area. Keep quiet, and don't let anyone see if. If you find anyone, do not make contact. now then, there are two notable locations here that could house the rogue ninja... The first is an old bounty collection office, and the other is the ruins of the Fire Temple. I say that we hit the Fire Temple, first. It would be best if we split off into two teams, and met up nearby the temple. That way, we can't be detected as easily." She reached into a pouch on her leg, and pulled out a map. "Lee-sensei, you take a team and go around that way. I'll take a team this way. We'll meet here, then proceed to the temple. At that point, we'll have to be extremely careful not to be caught. I don't care who goes with who to our destination, so long as they don't get noticed. If there are no questions, we'll get started." She put the map back in her pouch, and looked at the group of genin.

 

Koukon

"Hey, Hikari. We haven't been able to hang out too often for a while... How about teaming up?" Koukon asked his friend, putting his arms behind his head.

 

Hikari

"Um... Sure." Hikari hadn't expected Koukon to ask her so suddenly. Still, she agreed. He's right, I haven't been able to be with him much at all recently... I might as well take the chance.

He ended up tangling with the Demon Brothers and Zabuza Momochi from the Hidden Mist, as well as the trade tyrant Gato, instead. It was the first time he was forced into using his Nine Tails power. This mission could be just as dangerous. We need to stick together so we can be prepared for what might come. Yumi sighed. "Alright, if you insist, I'll let all of you go off on your own... You need to meet up with me and Lee-sensei, though. Got it? Do not get yourselves into trouble, or go into the temple without us!" She warned them. "Now then, Lee-sensei... Are you ready to go?" She asked her fellow jonin.

 

Lee

"I have been ready for a long time! Let us go on our way, Yumi-sensei! Use your youthful energy to guide us!" Lee gave Yumi a thumbs up, and began to go in the direction that Yumi had pointed out. Yumi sighed, and followed him.

 

Koukon

"Well, I guess that settles it, too..." He said. "Now then, let's go, guys! I'm getting bored just sitting here, we need to get moving! We'll meet up with you later, Yumi-sensei!" He began jumping through the forest in one of the directions Yumi had told them to go in.

 

Hikari

"Don't get ahead of yourself! If you get yourself into some dumb situation, don't expect me to get you out of it!" Hikari shouted to her friend, then sighed. She followed after him, trying to make sure he didn't go off too far on his own.
