I platinumed Kingdom Hearts Final Mix.

 

I platinumed Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories.

 

I 100%'d 358/2 Days

 

This was one heck of a game. As someone who never played the Final Mix version before until this collection, I gotta say I really enjoyed it. The game looks fantastic on an HD screen, there's plenty of things to do, and getting the Platinum didn't even feel like work. I got to level 100 without even grinding, just trying to synthesize Ultima Weapon got me there. The gummi ship missions were challenging and fun on Proud mode (despite what people say). When I earned the Platinum, I couldn't help but smile, as I've experienced everything this game had to offer. I could appreciate it to the fullest.

 

Chain of Memories on the other hand...

 

I enjoyed the story, I really did... but the gameplay? UUUGGGHHH. Things like trying to pre-empt an enemy and hitting another object instead so the enemy hits you, being to close to an enemy so it runs into you mid-swing, and picking up HP orbs, Moogle Points, or cards, then having an enemy run into so that you don't actually get them are just a few of my complaints. That's not the biggest problem though. The biggest problem is the trophies.

 

Edit your deck 500 times.

Get Riku to Level 99.

Collect all cards for Sora.

Beating the game on Proud, Standard, and Beginner for both characters. DIFFICULTY TROPHIES DON'T STACK.

Create 300 rooms.

 

These trophies where an absolute bitch to get, and I can't imagine many people doing it. Hope they fix that for the next HD Remaster

I haven't and probably never will. If anything FM is all I'll platinum. I appreciate CoM, but I'd be really firetruckin' stupid to go through a second tour of torment for Sora. Riku's nothing. He's a total BAMF in both games that he's playable in (reasons for why I appreciate his character again. Too many rabid yaoi fangirls can take that appreciation away, especially with the fact that Riku was a total ass in KH.)

took me about 5 days to platinum Re:CoM. Riku's story was about 5hr each and sora was about 7-8 each. ^w^ As for collecting the cards that took a few hours XDRegardless I'm happy that you Platinumed it as I have

Re:Com is a stupid platinum the fact you need to get riku to lv 99, edit your deck 500 times, get EVERY SINGLE CARD, beat the game 6 different times because the developers were too lazy to stack trophies is ridiculous. I have plat in KHFM and I'm not going to even bother with Re:COM. Note, I did KH1FM at LV1 on PM. Anyway, KHFM is a very annoying platnium. All gummi blue prints is very annoying. I was also playing the Japanese version (I can translate and speak Japanese) and Japanese and English trophies cross, ALL MY trophies that were in Japanese are now english. KHFM LV 100 is insane. The strength cap of KHFM is only 55 and 61 for sephiroth/ unknown, anything above that is worthless. Synth took me forever, and all weapons (donald and goffy's weapons with dat .2% drop rate for defender/wizards relic is unbelievable). Other than that, I love KHFM. But re:com, I'm not going to play through at all. I find it weird the ONLY trophy missing in this is all post cards.

Synthesizing every item in KHFM is really killing it for me. I only platinum games if I both really like the game I'm playing, and the trophies are fun to get. Grinding enemies for sometimes hours just to get some ring? Not for me. I'm trying to beat Sephiroth and Unknown right now, but after that, I may put this on my shelf for a while until another day.

For the Unknown you need just to know how to release the rest must be easy if you are on a high lvl then.

Congrats.  I've no where near started on Re:COM.  I think I did a few rooms and backtracked to save and haven't started it since.  Luckliy though I think most people are in agreement, KH2FM and BBS are more enjoyable, so even if there are some tedious parts they'd be less painfully boring.  I will eventually platinum Re:COM, but it's not top of my list right now where it'll probably be platinumed after I platinum 2.5, I'm 5 (technically 4, 1 for getting all trophies) away from platinuming KH1FM (doing the speedrun with unchanging armor, undefeated etc on Beginner which will get me 3, and then play it on Final Mix Mode, currently I'm at Neverland at 6 hours)

I have done Final Mix last month. I might go one day for CoM since I managed all the minigames from Acre Wood.

I have some fear for Proud and level up to 99 might take a while don't like this game as much as KH1.

Great Job!! I'm only left to finish up with Re:CoM. As u mentioned, there are some really annoying things in this game especially trophies... Also no matter how much I play the game, I can't seem to get comfortable with the card system! Nonetheless, I will be getting the platinum trophy in Re.CoM as soon as possible and hopefully that would be before HD 2.5 ReMIX releases.
