In Kingdom Hearts re Chain of Memories, you see Axel and Larxene talking about Sora, who turned into a Heartless in Kingdom Hearts 1, but he still kept his feelings (As a Heartless) and turns back to normal (Thanks to Kairi).

Then Axel says: "There is only one other man, who been able to do that".

 

Who do you think is the other person Axel was talking about?

i think he might be referring to ansem SOD, because he was a heartless, but he had speech and thought and feelings and a goal, which in turn relates to xemnas

 

btw, i saw the vid, and i think why axel is interested in sora is because he reminds him of roxas, who is starting to become friends with axel, and he might have changed the topic on purpose

Yeah, I believe the man he was talking about was Ansem SoD. In the Kingdom Hearts universe i'm pretty sure they're the only two beings that have managed to keep their feelings after turning into a heartless that we know of so far.

Yes but Ansem SoD was MX's heartless, so Axel and everybody else thought it was the heartless of Xehanort (Ansem the Wise's Apprentice) who was indeed Terra only except he had White hair and had forgotton his memories.

Master Xehanort did not produce a Heartless. He didn't lose his heart to the darkness, but merely extracted it from his own body. And I doubt the other members even know who Terra is. When they look at Xemnas, they think of Apprentice Xehanort.

That is true to a certain extant. They think about Xehanort, but only Xigbar knows that Xehanort is Terra/MX.

Again, Axel has never met Terra. And there's no reason for, say, Xigbar, to tell the lower ranking members about previous wielders anyway.

He has at least memories of Aqua and Ventus, Aquas armour he talks to in KH2FM+, and when Roxas falls unconscious of 358/2 Days he says that sleep has claimed him again
