MyDixieRect 2,061 Posted January 21, 2014 ...*tries to think of gripping introductory paragraph.* This is harder than I thought. Well here goes I suppose: Kids. Kids. Can't live with 'em, can't live without them. From the day they're born they wreck your female SO's vagina and ruin your sex life for a good few years (it just doesn't feel the same. ), until you pop out a second one which somehow manages to undo the vaginal damage the first one did. But can you think of any greater gift than a son/daughter who brings home some delicious hot tail (preferably a big busted cheerleader called Tery but that's just me) for you to tap when he/she comes home from college? I for one, cannot. Having kids can be a double edged sword for many. So do you want kids? And why? ----------------------------------- OK, on a serious note, I've been giving it a lot of thought and while I do want kids, I can't for sure say why, so I started this topic hoping someone will say just the right words I need and I'll find my answer while also being able to read why some of you don't. 1 Demyx. reacted to this
Jilly Shears 2,144 Posted January 21, 2014 I want kids because my ancestors fought to keep the bloodline alive for hundreds of thousands of years, so the least I can do is do my part to keep it going. It's just kind of weird to think that you may not have existed had your great-great-great-something or other chose to have kids with someone else. Plus I know it's really old fashioned, but I'm the only male heir in my dad's family, so there's that too.Of course I only want 2, maybe 3 kids. Don't want that vagina to be a clown car like with the Duggars. 2 MyDixieRect and Demyx. reacted to this
Think Pink 1,967 Posted January 21, 2014 Personally, I don't want kids. A) I'd want to be married if I had them, and I'm most likely never going to marry. and B) I don't need kids interfering with my life. I have a lot of big plans for my future, and having children (or even being married, for that matter) would just slow me down. Then there are the awful societal expectations that the /woman/ is supposed to care for the child, and since I would definitely be leaving all of those duties to my future partner, I'd be labeled a bad parent and that would also screw with my career. All in all, for me, they're not worth the effort. Plus I would never want to go through pregnancy, it's all around awful omg. 2 MyDixieRect and Alicia Maddox reacted to this

Neptune Vasilias 340 Posted January 21, 2014 I want kids to carry my name and lineage. I mean why else would you have them. On a personal note I have to have sons because as of late it's just me and my cousin as the last bearers of our Father's name but unfortunately my cousin didn't go to college, got in trouble with the law, and became a letdown mostly so now I have to go to college,do good, and be successful so my Family has at least one man to be proud of. It doesn't help that my Dad not only went to college but got married, had kids, became extremely wealthy, and most importantly escaped the hood while maintaining his roots. I'm having kids so I can have successful heir that I can be proud of and aren't tied to a certain fate like I was. I want my kids to live happy and fun life and not lives full of betrayal, hardships, backstabbing, and the constant assault of other kids saying "You won't amount to anything cause you're black, get out of Howard County, or your not hood enough for us Robert". I'm having kids for my Family's lineage and so I can watch and see what it's like to grow up at a nice pace and not have to rush it to protect yourself from the real world. 2 _The Door To Light_ and MyDixieRect reacted to this

RikuFangirl2008 1,368 Posted January 21, 2014 I'm still undecided when it comes to having kids and getting into another relationship... After having to deal with my 2 half sisters, both of them get on my nerves. Me and him were raised right. This type of experience led me into me being undecided of having kids, because its really hard to raise a kid to be right... As for relationships, I don't know about them anymore after dealing with the first one I had... However the idea of pregnancy and childbirth freaks me out, so I'd rather adopt. Lalalablah 1,538 Posted January 21, 2014 Why I don't: -I'm completely aware of the things teenagers do. As a parent I would dread this time period. Drugs, drinking, sex, I'd worry about some of these things. -I'd be afraid that my child would make the wrong choices despite my efforts to lead them along the right path. -If my child died I don't know what I would do with myself. -I want to travel the world. Unless I was extremely wealthy this would be very difficult with children. -It's so expensive to raise a kid. -If I were to be a mom I'd like to be a stay at home mom so that I could clean and cook and all that other stuff. But I don't want to be a stay at home mom anyway, I'd rather go out and work doing something I love. So if both parents are working things might be hard to maintain at home (unless my kids grow up to be extremely independent like my sister and I). But idk -Childbirth will suck Why I do: -I love babies -Taking the child(ren) to Disney or any other theme park would be fun -Just watching them grow up is an experience in itself -My parents want to have grandkids, and I can't guarantee my sister will have kids -I want to raise a family with my future husband and when I'm old have someone to possibly take care of me 6 Cucco, Paranoia, Jilly Shears and 3 others reacted to this
