Well the largest audience/demographic for anime/manga is middle aged men after all.  And as surprising as this is, it has come to my attention that a number of guys like sexualized women.

Yeah, I see what you mean.

Though looking at my library's collection of manga, it seems that most of them are aimed at teen girls or something, as most of them are romantic and have some INSANELY HAWT GUY or whatever. Not my favorite thing to read... xD

A lot seem to be, but there was a documentary on a girl who sprung to fame getting promotions and deals to come to Japan cause she danced to anime in her bedroom looking like a anime character and they showed the actual audience for anime and anime related things was more than a third 40/50+ year old men (I forget the exact figure) when they were asking her mother how she felt knowing older men were watching her teenage daughter.

Certainly if you were comparing the amount of people who talk about anime, the bulk would be in the teen department (I can't see an awful lot of middle aged men posting "omg miku's so hawt wanna marry her!" on their facebook considering the ridicule they'd get.

There's a whole pokemon fan made spin off on capturing and banging as much pokegirls as you can (Pokemon sexualized to feminine characteristics)

There's trading cards for it

I've seen (and played) several of those Poké fan games, but I had no clue they had trading cards for it. Eughugh.
