-- Can you give us any details of the game for the new Nintendo 3DS?

But I had concepts for a system and a plot, and thinking that they matched well with the Nintendo 3DS, we started work for real on a game. Nomura: It's not that we've gone with 3D; at the moment, we're thinking of three different systems. The title will be made by the Osaka team that did "Birth by Sleep", and when I took the proposal to Yasue (Co-director of BbS) in Osaka the other day, he was very happy about it (laughs).

 

-- Yasue is in charge of the battles in "Re:Coded" too, right?

 

Nomura: That's right. At the moment we also have the foreign edition of "Birth by Sleep", so the Osaka staff are all very busy. But they still managed to make a good demo in a short amount of time, so I think they'll give it their all.

That's mostly right, however what was said in the interview is that 3D doesn't stand for 3 dimensions/3rd dimension, not that it does. I'm glad we finally get another Sora, Riku game and get to see new worlds, although as to where this take place in the timeline confuses me.

 

I had a hunch Re:coded would have hints about the next KH title from the moment it was confirmed that it would feature new cutscenes not in the original Coded, perhaps it will even include a secret boss linked to KH 3D aswell, although I don't see how that will work unless 3D takes place in Jimminys journal aswell.
