GrandMasterTrea 0 Posted June 17, 2010 Just want to know what everyone thought of the game. Personally, i was dissaponted. Only like 6 worlds, all ported from KH or KH2, only 1 FF character to be seen, and its a moogle. Unbalanced and annoying enemies, and a story that had no impact on anything, or any significagant importance at all. However, running around as the King and Riku makes everything worth the money. axel1994 2 Posted June 17, 2010 personaly i didnt like riku he was very weak and his especial limit was awful... but i did like the story and it was kinda epic to fight with roxas when he was in the organization
Kishira 2,854 Posted June 17, 2010 The game was "meh". Interesting story to us in to what happened with Roxas and stuff, but there was a little too much fanservice for my liking. But then again, that might just be because I'm not a big Org.XIII/Xion fan; I missed Sora!!! x'D But unlocking him was worth it! And playing as Riku was fun~~<
Reversal 53 Posted June 17, 2010 By looking at Days by itself, I'd say it was a pretty good game. The story could've been better, and characters other than RAX should've received more character development (Dream Team, Demyx, and Luxord). Overall, I enjoyed it. Multiplayer made everything worthwhile, though I mainly use Sora and Riku. Eh, Days compared to the rest of the games in the series however makes it a drop in the bucket. It just...wasn't very good. I think I would've enjoyed it more if they changed Xion's character a bit more.
Riku_Lover 0 Posted June 17, 2010 i liked it especially the storyline i really enjoyed getting to use Roxas rather then Sora for a change and the plot still hit me straight home like every other kh game has donw
heartless101 83 Posted June 17, 2010 I liked how u got to use Organization XIII characters
Fates Chance 60 Posted June 17, 2010 "story that had no impact on anything, or any significagant importance at all." i think it did have an impact on the series. it explains all the lose ends in the year that sora was asleep. -why roxas left the organization. -why roxas can duel weild keyblades -what that one picture in namines room of axel roxas xion and riku was -the relationship between saix and axel -why axel was sent to C.O. in the first place - saix and axels plan (all i can think of off the top of my head) it also gave us some insight to what the organization was like. what day to day life was like for the nobodies. let us get to know each member some what better. and being the huge organization and now xion fan, that i have been since i played kh2, that was really cool for me. ^_^ axel roxas and xion also have a part in the future of the series. with all those things how can you say it had no importance, or impact on anything. with out it the begining of how kh2 would have been differnt most likely. --------------------------------------------------------------------- "In the fate of all, there in no such thing as chance"
soulreaper52 9 Posted June 17, 2010 it was a good game only if they could remake on a different system because of the graphics and if they did that more cutscenes
khven 0 Posted June 17, 2010 i agree with soulreaper52, with the addition of maybe a better fighting system and a better plot line with more worlds and actually interacting with some characters from worlds more
Corrupted keyblade 64 Posted June 17, 2010 I loved the story i loved the missions but i hated how long it took to fight people u could have the best keyblade in the game and it would take forever to get one of them to die like armours used to take me like 5 minutes it took me 15 in days but i still love the storry and the missions and stuff but hated the fighting
Azirigel 1 Posted June 17, 2010 I agree with FatesChance....it DID have an impact on the story. Without Xion, Roxas would have never left the Organization, but just accepted everything, and most likely would've had a different fate. It did answer a lot of questions for us. However it could have been improved too. Definitely more depth on the rest of Org. More variety of enemies, not just re-colors, and for some, not as strong...leave that for boss battles....The storyline was ok as is, but I'm sure it could also have been improved...I agree that there should have been more cutscenes, make the missions a lot less repetitive, and add new worlds to it. There's a lot of room for it to be improved, but overall, I think it was worth it....Especially if it made me actually WANT a DS...before Days, never cared much for it....but that's just me.... DragonMaster 1,166 Posted June 17, 2010 I liked it. My favorite Kingdom Hearts game. I really don't have anything else to say that hasn't already been said.

Fates Chance 60 Posted June 17, 2010 ive had the ds for a long time now and played alot of games and i have to say that the graphics for the game on this console were preety good concidering. when i heard that the game was for the ds, i really didnt expect all that much graphics wise, but it was alright. could have been a bit cleaner but still alright. i wish they would remake it for the ps2 though. but there coming out with 2 more kh games for the ds ,Re:coded and kingdom hearts 3d. i wonder what theyll look like. --------------------------------------------------------------------- "In the fate of all, there is no such thing as chance"
Rosie 3 Posted June 17, 2010 I can't hold the best opinion on the full storyline and main character development... although I know what happens, I'm stuck on about day 300 or something. I wish they'd added more Final Fantasy characters into the mix, to be honest. I guess you didn't interact much with the Disney characters, either, but that's because Roxas wasn't supposed to be talking to any strangers. More interesting speaking scenes would be better, as well- playing quite a lot over a day, it got boring watching the characters on the screen turning awkwardly and staring blankly ahead, while their faces down by the speech boxes did all the emotion. I do have one HUGE problem with the game, though. Literally huge. Because so many of the boss enemies are ridiculously big compared to Roxas. Which means you have to fight mostly in the air, a total combo-destroyer. Bigger enemies just bat you around, Roxas' legs and arms flailing helplessly as you hammer the buttons, yelling profanities at whatever monster it has you facing. That might be more of a problem for me, since I'm not very GOOD at the game, but, the point about the size and aerial attacks still stands. Also, the automatic lock on is faulty when you're fighting certain enemies. Like, the flying Heartless, which you find with the treasure maps in Neverland, or Leechgrave. If Roxas moved while you cast Fire, the target shifted, and you wasted a whole magic turn when the attack sailed past. Oh, and the potions and ethers you place in the panels don't re-equip themselves when you use them. I found myself taking in about ten potions to a boss fight and using most of them, and often forgetting to re-equip them all to Roxas after the sheer excitement of an ACTUAL VOICED CUTSCENE or two. Which made Roxas die pretty quickly. Just a note, though... In boss fights in KH2, the Org. XIII memebers hit their limit, and unleash hell. At first, it seems that Roxas can do the same. Until the enemy can move and hit him, mid-limit. In KH2, when in limit-mode, invincibility comes with the deal. But a hit when Roxas is performing his limit, and you can't defend yourself? Because your HP has to be low to activate a limit break, bosses just crush you. I can't count the amount of times Roxas died that way while I was playing. Stardustblade358 806 Posted June 21, 2010 Well, days was my first KH game,so after I finished it and went to see the other games,I'd say that it had kind of an impact on the story line of KH2.I mean,it explains why Axel was so attatched to Roxas and how Riku knew who roxas was.And it showed a very interesting story that was kept secret from the other games,I think it was a good game. Roxas1314 0 Posted June 22, 2010 Yeah. The bosses suck. Theatre mode has all the sad cutscenes in it! WHY???!?! But i like how every weapon has its own unique style of fighting, some are for air and land combos and others just for one of those...these would be handy, IF they were strong enough to at least HELP defeating the bosses...the hardest thing to kill in this game is the last heartless in the kill six giant heartless or more mission. Pain in my rear end, I got masters circle shortly after my third try of trying to kill it. I still havent been able to, and now with masters circle the darn thing keeps dodging my attacks and I end up killing myself. Or it jumps up and sits on Roxas, squashing him...sigh. Now the treasure Heartless boss of Neverland is pissing me off...my attacks rarely hit and they only take one HP away if I do hit it. It has a bazillion lives! I LOVED the story though, makes me cry every time!
-*Ventus*- 1 Posted June 25, 2010 i thought days bosses werent that hard
Tsunamo 62 Posted June 25, 2010 Call me a fanboy, but I actually enjoyed Days alot. I thought h.a.n.d. did a great job of bringing Kingdom Hearts to the DS, and I didn't find the missions repetitive suprisingly. Heck, I even played the Jap version two times, the English version and most of mission mode, yet I still didn't find it repetitive. The only thing i'm dissapointed about is the fact they got rid of samurai nobodys being intergrated as party members, but I suppose having the entire organisation playable in mission mode makes up for it. Koko 3,944 Posted June 25, 2010 I haven't even beaten Days yet ;A; LOL I found it very boring and hard I mean the story was interesting-ish but the game play was like ;A; because I don't like handhelds much. And like, idk Not a big fan of Days.
RoxAs Is Wise 7 Posted June 26, 2010 Yup, the game has impact (or 'reasons' precisely, since it's flashback) as fate chance said. And I'm personally big fan of days, just because I'm in orgy at it and the orgy is all the reason I like kh. But for those sora-side story lover, yeah this game won't be satisfying. And I actually like the fact the game being repetitive, it's just get me more 'casual' (uh yeah I play in beginner) and 'feels like home' I dunno...I just happen to like things like that.
