"All right, thanks." Robert replied to the girl, and continued striking down the soldiers. Once the soldiers once again began catching on to what he was doing, Robert once again changed strategies. Now, he began constantly changing his density, so that sometimes he was intangible, and other times he was super dense. Using this strategy, he was able to take out soldier after soldier. [Wow, this is easier than I thought it would be.] Robert thought.

Finished with the monsters around him, Bronshu looked back to see if the others were okay.  He sees a new person around, and felt uneasy.  He thinks:  Who is this guy?  Something doesn't seem right with him.  Hold on.  Did he say something about Joshua?  Bronshu walks up and says:  "I don't know who you are, but you look like scum to me.  And I don't let scum hurt people, especially kids.  So I'm going to knock you down, okay?" Bronshu points his lightning pin to the ground, firing off a shockwave heading towards Sylar.

Sylar simply waved his hand again, and a shield of darkness intercepted the bolt of electricity. Sylar grinned maliciously back at Bronshu. "Ooo, close, but no cigar." The block of darkness was charged with the electricity. Sylar flicked his finger, sending it back towards Bronshu. He spotted Walter going through the trees, and waved his hand again, felling the tree he was behind. He then grabbed Joshua telekinetically, and pulled him closer. "And I thought I said no more hiding you two." He said, mock scolding them.

"Unfavorable huh. I like it." Mes replied, dismissing One Winged Angel. The desert was no free of enemies, but no voice came on yet about how they'd won. "Guess the other groups haven't quite finished yet." She said, looking around at the others around them.

"If I'm wrong," he said. "You have to be playing fair in order to make that applicable." He kept in hiding. "What do you want with him, Sylar?"

Joshua struggled, to no avail. He had control over his body, to an extent, but couldn't move all too much, much less away from Sylar. His eyes were worried with immense fear, and nearly about to cry of it. He didn't speak--in mild shock, but imminently stabbed Sylar's hand with the dagger he held with him. Unfortunately, that was his only current means of defense.Morgan grit her teeth, Mes actually having nothing against having an 'unfavorable attitude,' or so she appeared. She gave a short scoff, "I suppose not." Morgan sheathed her rapier into it's slender black scabbard, "Regardless of which, am I wrong to assume your conjuring would be a reliable source of water?"

When the enemies were gone, Harry fell to the ground. "Man, what a workout." Harry said as he looked up to the sky. He couldn't remember who he was, but he now knew what his powers were. He was a keyblade wielder, that he now could see. He didn't know why the voice hadn't truly appeared yet, but he was too worn out to care. But he did look over at Mes and made a grin. He casted a huge down pour of water on Mes just to mess with her.

Sylar glanced over to where he knew Walter was. "Fair? Whoever said anything about fair?" Sylar said, casually. He was so obvious that he wasn't taking this serious, it was almost a joke. Then he felt a little telekinetic prick. Startled, and losing his concentration for only a moment, Joshua slipped out of his grasp. "With him? I was only trying to get him involved. You know, it's still bullying to exclude someone from the group. Isn't that right Joshua?" Sylar's voice sharpened in malice towards the end, as a cage of darkness appeared around the child.

Mes found herself drenched before she could reply to Morgan. She looked over, and spotted Harry, with a huge grin on his face. Mes gritted her teeth, and set herself on fire. Her clothing dried immediately, and the rain cloud evaporated. She clenched her fist, and the aura of fire around her rocketed towards the grinning fool in the sand. She turned back to Morgan, with an angel grin. "I'm sorry, but I cannot do water. He obviously can, but unfortunately, he won't be around for much longer." She said with mock innocence.

Harry just smiled and disappeared and reappeared on top of a totem pole. He couldn't decide his feelings towards Mes, wether they be good or bad. He just smiled at the sky. "I hope to get out of this mess soon. I just hope that I can learn who I am soon enough so I know how to live a normal life. This place is not a great place to be." Harry said. He then closed his eyes and fell asleep on top of the totem pole.

Bronshu stared at the shockwave coming back to him and thought:  This isn't good.  Diasor shouts:  "Bronshu!  The last pin!  Use the last pin!"  Bronshu:  "Okay, okay!"  Bronshu pulled out the last pin and points it towards the shockwave.  But nothing seemed to happen and the electricity kept coming.  Confused, Bronshu just thought of jumping to dodge it.  But when he did, Bronshu jumped much higher than he thought he would.  As he went high in the air, Bronshu shouts:  WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH!!  Using the pin to go down and land safely, Bronshu smiles at the pin and says:  "This has to do with gravity, and I love it."  He looks forward and sees Joshua in a cage.  Bronshu thought:  Joshua!  and starts running towards him.

 

Rexon saw what Mes did to Harry with a kind of scared sensation.  Scratching his head, he thinks:  Note to self, don't make flame girl angry.  He then says:  "Well, since that happened and things are over, I'll resume my search for an oasis."  Rex starts heading off and slides down a sand dune.

"Mr. Bronshu!" He said as he was getting closer. "We need to work as a team!"

Bronshu skids to a halt when heard Walter.  He says:  " I already had something to go on, but fine.  Exactly what do you have in mind?"

Auron looked around one more time, there were no enemies around. "Phew... finally...." he said as he began to walk to the small group in the desert. "hey you! are you alright?" He said while taking a look at them for a moment, Then he saw one of the group leaving a a few meters away... maybe searching for something. The others were two girls and a boy in a somewhat .... unfortunate state...

Sylar waved the bullets away, and parried the knife with his dark blade. He ended the counter, with a quick firm kick to Walter's torso to send him back. "C'mon, is that all you guys have? And I thought you guys were capable." Sylar's voice rang with sarcasm, and an evil grin was plastered on his face. "Maybe I really do have to fight you in order to see your real power." Sylar shrugged, and dark blades floated all around him (like Noctis!) He pointed one that was in his hand, and the blades shot forward, hurtling towards Bronshu and Walter.

Neena felt a different power within her. It felt more controlled, and more gentle. She triggered it, and light flowed through her veins. In a brilliant flash of light Neena, stood anew in a glittering suit of golden armor. Her hair had turned blonde and was worn down, and her eyes sky blue. She swung a new golden broadsword, at a soldier. It fell to her blade. Neena recovered in time to throw another charging reptilian soldier over her back, she turned quickly, and stabbed it. A few more attacked, but Neena sent a wave of light, which fried them to a crisp.

"Agh!" He dodged the blades by the skin of his teeth. He tripped on the grass, and lost balance for a bit. "Let's do a unison raid ! Attack as as a team! He threw som concussion grenades, and. A six shooter revolve appeared in his hand. He fired off all the rounds.

Bronshu used the gravity pin to put up a barrier to block the blades.  Blinking intensely and amazed, he said:  "Alright, I'm up for that."  He used his fire pin to launch 4 fireballs, at Sylar, circling the grenades.  Then he sent a concentrated stream of electricity from the lightning pin towards the enemy.

The string of attacks from Bronshu and Walter proved too much for Sylar to telekinetically divert or umbrakinetically block. As the dust cleared, it was made clear that something had changed. Sylar had been pushed a step back. Sylar's head was done, and his hair had fallen in front of his face, preventing any view of him. Suddenly, his head flung up, and a grin could quite clearly be seen. "Good job both of you. I was forced to take a step back. Consider that a victory for now. I'll no longer be interfering with the Big Guy's game for a little bit." Sylar gave a mock salute, and vanished into a pool of darkness. The cage around Joshua disappeared, and Ryonne fell to the ground from a new portal of darkness in the sky. He pushed himself up, and looked around the clearing. "You guys win?" He asked, brushing a lock of hair from his eyes, but it fell back into place anyway.

Neena found herself back in neutral form. She stabbed one last soldier, and threw it off her blade into a nearby tree. She looked around, and found nothing. Finally, all were dead. Then, the voice came back over the speaker.

 

Congratulations all!

You have successfully defeated your small legion of soldiers

And the crowd loved every second!

In the desert, a cry of a girl was heard. "What! I clearly killed more than her!" The voice paid no mind, and continued.

Now I will reveal, the end goal.

Walter had the memory rush into his head. It pierced him, over and over

 

He was locked in a dark room, with cameras in front of him. He was strapped to a cross like structure, arms on the side, and legs on the bottom. He had clamps on his hands, forcing his hands to be balled up. A man came in. He was tall with a lab coat.

 

"You disappoint me. Delta 5...." The man said in a monotonous, cold voice. "You disappoint us..." Walter had a gag on his mouth. "You've tried to escape 4 times in three months? Why would you do that?" He knew why.

 

"We all grieve for her loss. But you must move on..." The doctor grabbed the vial full of liquid "And this will help you... It will help you with a formula we made for you." He took the vial, drew its contents into a syringe, and injected it into his vein. The serum burned, and his head hurt, as if it was being rewritten.

 

Walter looked at his his arm, and saw the mark. He shivered. "No...no..,"

 

The memory continued as a man came in, with a gas mask. This was strange, however, as it was made to shoot gas in the mask. The man tried to put it on, removing the gag on the mouth.

 

"NO!" He said both outside and in the dream. He stated his defiance over and over again.

 

The mask was forced on, and the gas released. "Just relax..." The other man said. The gas penetrated his nostrils, going straight to the brain. It hit, depriving him of his will. His mind and vision went fuzzy, he lost control of his body. Trying to fight it to no avail, his body went limp, and he blacked out.

 

The memory continued. He was in a room, gun in hand, and a bloodstained suit. His mind was starting to clear, but his mind was still locked.

 

"Let's go!" Another man in a suit said. Walter looked up, and saw the carnage that happened. He wanted to cry out. But the gas wouldn't let him. "Yes." His gassed mind said. "Mission complete."

 

In the present, Walter looked at his hands. "I-I've..." He saw blood on his hands. Screams of the people he could have... But the gas wouldn't...

 

He saw a bloodied girl no older than him now. "Don't forget my teaching... Promise...not...to...take... Another..." He couldn't remember the name, but knew her importance. And the grief

 

"I…I don't want to remember!" he said, crying. "It hurts! Why does it hurt! Why this memory!? Why does it hurt, Joshua!" He looked at the knights he had mercilessly slaughtered. They had family, a reason to live. He had robbed them of that. "No... I'm back to the monster they wanted. I-I-I failed her. I.."

The moment Sylar's cage of darkness vanished, Joshua ran up to Walter, hugging him tightly as he seemed to experience a bit of trauma...again. By this point, the silent cry he gave for his own regained memory had stopped. Joshua stood quietly for a few moments, wanting to comfort Walter but unsure of how to. "...It's...okay to cry, Walter, just...." he gulped in a bit of nervousness, "don't be anyone but yourself...." he said quietly, but loud enough for him to hear. "Whatever happened..." he began again, "I'm sure you're capable of not failing anyone else again."

 

In the forest, Noah quickly left the reptilian corpses to find the others. He may not talk with them, but he knew he could do very little without. Eventually, Noah slid down a tree near Neena, almost landing on her last slain corpse.

 

Morgan couldn't help but laugh, not at any memory, but at Mes' misfortune of being ignored, as well as her immaturity to the matter. "Perhaps you'll get one later. I'm fairly certain this voice won't give anyone any memories again and again, despite any prowess of theirs." She stated, placing her scabbard upon the sand and examining the shadpw for a few moments. "The mountain— shown beacon of light is northwest of this location. If we are to find an oasis elsewhere, we must keep track of our direction."

"The girl... Those men..." He cried. "I killed them all! I'm a monster!" He gripped his hair. "I wanna stay here... I don't want to remember..."

 

Ren turned to Neena. He walked over, and pulled down his hood to reveal a face that was a dark tan, with silver spiky hair and yellow eyes. "Hello..." He said with a deep voice. Might as well start conversation.

Neena's eyes shifted from Noah to Ren. "Would you look who's here. Quiet 1 and Quiet 2." She said slightly sarcastically. But she knew they were both capable. She had after all, seen them fight. Ren had power, and Noah was cunning, both valuable qualities. Of course, if either of tem would say a full sentence, that'd make them perfect. Neena began to speak again. "So our goal is to get there." She gestured to the far off mountain. "We should probably find a way out of the forest, maybe a look out point would help?" She began to suggest. Neena didn't really want a leadership position, but it didn't seem like anyone else would take the responsibility. So, temporary queen she was.

Ryonne walked over to the freaking-out Walter. Ryonne began to talk, his voice calm and reasonable. "Get up and let's go. If you do end up a monster, I'll kill you myself. We don't need a little boy who is constantly pitying himself." Ryonne knew he was being harsh, but it was necessary. Walter was obviously strong, but if he broke down at a single memory every time he got one, there'd be a problem. Better to fix the problem now, than pay for not doing so later.

Mes stamped her foot in the sand. When Morgan turned her back, Mes crossed her arms and pouted. She quickly remedied the pose, looking around them. She spotted another boy, and Mes waved her arms to beckon him over. Maybe this guy would be nice. At least, nice despite her attitude.

"Y-" Walter said. "Alright..." There was no point in arguing. He got up slowly, head held in shame, and started to walk. "Sorry Joshua..."

 

Ren looked up at the sky. "My name is Ren. Not Quiet." He looked around. "Maybe we'll find one..." He mumbled, and started to walk.
