We've decided to organize regular contests (we'll try our best) to see people's talents and select the best of them all! We will start with the Writing Contest, but we expect to post some other categories soon! Well, for those interest in participating, just scroll down and you'll learn everything you need to know about it: We have THREE subcategories here in the Writing Contest, and you are able to submit one story for each one subcategory. The deadline will be 15 days from today, so it'll be on January 25th, at 11:59pm (following Brazil's time zone. For you to have a notion, it's 1:13pm now here.) We'll have three judges, me, Think Pink and the last Judge will be announced later as Think Pink and I will try to find someone for it. The results will be announced a week after the deadline, so be sure to check them out on February 1st. The subcategories are listed below: *KH13 Related: A story that involves at least one member from KH13, and it doesn't need to be KH related. *KH Related: A story that involves the KH universe, using only characters that truly exist on the games. *Own Story: Something you created by yourself. It may or may not be related to KH, but if it is, then there must be characters that you created. And below there are some rules to make it organized: *The stories can either be posted on the forum as separated topics or be posted on this thread. IF you post it on the forum, please post a reply on this thread linking us to it. *It CAN BE but does not necessarily need to be split in chapters. *Stories already posted on KH13 CANNOT be used; try to put some effort and make a special story just for the contest! *Music in the stories IS allowed. Try to remember that it gives magic to the story. *The name of the Winners will be announced on the front page, around the same time we intend to announce the next contest! That's pretty much all about it! Post any doubts you have, and we'll clear them all up for you! We hope that you are excited and looking forward to this and the next talent contests! A separate thread can then have no limits DChiuch and I were discussing this and we decided to allow only stories posted on the forum, with no limits. My primary challenges will be to conceive an introduction, and actually writing it all by the deadline. Length is a consideration, though, because I'm unsure of how these will be judged. Being read, it may take quite a while. Are these read in portions— or are our stories to be "short stories?" I just need clarification on all of this. Thanks in advance. Well, just as I said we decided not to establish a limit. Write as your heard commands, be it a long story or short story. They'll be judged equally. Don't worry, no one will win just because they have the longest / shortest story. This is our 1st contest, we'll see how it works out. If it doesn't go as well as we expect, the next one will have more rules, like one that establishes a limit. I'll most likely come up with my own story, or perhaps I'll incorporate characters I've already created for my own novels into the Kingdom Hearts Universe (or at least their names). Taking his time to wake up was Webmaster DChiuch, who noticed his bed had been bolted to the ceiling- this also meant he fell out of it and onto the floor. His surprise evident, he looked around for the source of the prank and saw Sora96 jumping out a window in an attempt to flee! Using his yodeling skills, DChiuch called upon his faithful dwarf Frank, hopped onto his back, and rode him out after the prankster! Sora96 had already put 19 kilometers between them as he flew away on a koala, but DChiuch would not be deterred! Putting on his sunglasses, the mighty Admin leapt off his dwarf like a graceful turtle and pierced the heavens with his opera singing! Yielding the call, a Magikarp fell from the sky and into DChiuch's hand. Now armed, he lobbed the Magikarp straight at Sora96's koala- hitting it straight on the beak! Defeated, the gallant bear fell; leaving Sora96 alone on the horizon. Catching up to him, DChiuch confronted his trusted friend and questioned why he would do such a thing. In response, Sora96 flicked him on the nose and burrowed underground. Just as DChiuch was about to pursue, a hand appeared on his shoulder. It belonged to his other friend Aaron, who was inviting him to enjoy a pint together. Skipping into the sunset, the two disappeared, arm in arm." I'll take my trophy now. Administrators, Staff Members, Guests and Advertisement bots. It was all about a party with great music , drinks ,dance ..... Stuff that people like Nick Sideris did not like . DChiuch was the DJ of the party .Sora96 had organized the decoration .Everyone was having a "normal" time . Couples like Flaming Lea and Megaman X were "slow-dancing" . Only one person did not enjoy it . It was LightChaser . She was just reading a book . It was actually a Kingdom Hearts Manga . She was disturbed by the loud music and the "hey!" of people like Nick who was mentioned above . But it was a matter of time until she got furious . And that was what happened . Angry by what was going on around her , she said : "LEAVE ME ALONE !!!!!!!!!!!" She stood up , pushed poor Lu Xun aside ,opened the door and left the party . All the while, Riku, Lea, and King Mickey infiltrate the Realm of Darkness in an attempt to retrieve Aqua and Ansem the Wise. Though numerous obstacles stand in their way, the trio is able to rescue their lost comrades and return to Radiant Garden with them in tow. While the group rests, strange occurrences have befallen Radiant Garden as two men donning the Organization's coats wreak havoc. Investigating these disturbances, Aqua comes face to face with none other than Master Xehanort and an amnesiac Terra. Through a quick clash between their Keyblades, Aqua is able to successfully jog Terra's memories and restore him to his former self. With Terra back on her side, the two of them engage Master Xehanort in a brief confrontation before the villain flees. He feels weaker, as if his strength has decreased over the years. No doubt this was certainly a possibility, but it strikes him as odd. He's still strong enough to defeat the enemies presented to him, but it's not the same strength he had possessed all those years ago when he confronted Xehanort. Then again, how strong had he really been? He had been duped and used by numerous people over the course of his travels, tricked into distrusting his friends and fighting his master. ...Master Eraqus... Yet another person who suffered because of his stupidity. Aqua, left to wander the darkness for twelve years- Ven left to await her return, and Master Eraqus...gone forever. All of these occurrences were his fault, the results of his choices. Even more lives had been ruined as well, people Terra didn't even know. Nobodies, Ansem the Wise, Organization XIII, the Princesses of Light- all of them were fine now, but for how long? And what of the pain all of them were forced to bear because of Xehanort? Due to his failing, his successor had been left to battle the darkness that not only threatened the worlds, but the very darkness inside of him. Riku... Had he never given the boy the Keyblade, he could've been spared his current fate...he wouldn't have been used by Xehanort just as Terra had been before him. "To protect the things that matter. You know, like my friends." Terra's eyes widen as the realization hits him. Of course, it was as simple as that. Just as he had said back then, he had people he wanted to protect as well. Only this time would be different- this time he would not fall victim to Xehanort's plot. He would rise above it, and fight to protect his friends; not to exact revenge or even the score. He doubted he could ever make up for his mistakes, but he could at least help solve the current dilemmas that faced the worlds and restore the peace. He would devote his life to bettering the worlds, protecting his friends, and being there for them both. A future where he, Aqua, and Ven could sit around and gaze up at the stars together again...that was what he would strive for. "Terra?" The voice snaps him out of his daze, as it sounds fairly familiar. Slowly, he turns around to face the speaker- his surprise evident upon seeing him. Before him stands a young man, about his height, with silver hair. Despite all the trouble Terra has no doubt caused this individual over the years, the boy still smiles upon seeing him. He took a breath, and approached. seeing her stare out the clouded glass of the window at the busy road outside, cars passing in the night on the highway like lost souls. " Hi mom!" He said, injecting cheer he did not feel into his voice. She turned to him, her gaze slightly watery. " i waited for you... your dinner's cold." She indicated a steak and a helping of green beans on the table, pink at the center from exposure to the air. " I'm sorry, I..." " You what? It's been three hours, John.... three. You didn't call, you didn't.." He sat down, and she stared at him, a mix of hate and sadness in her aqua eyes. " Three hours.... you could've at least called." " i know, but.." " But nothing." She stood, sweeping her honey blonde hair back over her shoulders. " Eat your dinner, I'm going to bed." John ate his cold steak in silence, the only sound the gentle ticking of the old grandfather clock in the hall. He put the plate in the sink, cleared the table, and went upstairs. In the heat of the shower, he shivered. He didn't sleep well, and laid awake far past midnight gazing out at the full moon as it rose over the trees. Enjoy. ) The sun set in a blood red smear across the ocean's skyline as she walked along the pier, her past trailing away from her like the sand on the dunes below. She needed a new name... a new everything. She was free from her old life, a hard life of work and bills and cleaning, but at a price: car less, broke, only one suitcase of her own things. What was she going to do? She leaned on the barnacle encrusted rails of the pier to gaze out across the waters still surface, red like Axel... no, Lea... flamming like the sun... She'd always liked that name: Lea.... She sighed, and walked on, the darkness slowly settling across the water. A seagull flew close over head, then silence, as the dune shifted in a light nightwind.
