DoctorChurchie 54 Posted April 12, 2010 Is it possible that you kids might watch anime that is not: Naruto Bleach Death Note One Piece Is it? Hmmmm well I highly dislike Naruto and One Piece, but I love Death Note and like Bleach. But other than that I watch Spirall, Ghost in the Shell, Trinity Blood, Tsubasa RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE, InuYasha, Samurai Champloo, and some others, but I just don't feel like saying which ones now. Kaiso 2,764 Posted April 14, 2010 I like Voclaoid! > As much as I wish it was, Vocaloid isn't an anime. It's a computer program with anime-based mascots and generally anime-based PVs/music videos. But it is not an anime. It DOES have a manga though. But an actual Vocaloid show with a good plot or story would be cool. ;A; I actually like FMA:Brotherhood > FMA. /shotshotshot. -- I think it's a bit better. But I still LOOOOVEEE IT. <3 o-o; There's also this new anime called Arakawa Under The Bridge (?) or something like that.. It's REALLY random and lacks...... a lot of things, but I've somehow become hooked on watching it. o-o I've also grown to LOVEEE Pandora Hearts. <
rho 9 Posted April 16, 2010 Watched the first episode of Soul Eater, it kicks ass. Finished 1st Season of Haruhi, fairly decent. Biggest complaint? MIKURU. Going to watch the 2nd Season when the English dub shows up. Hopefully Mikuru's VA will suck less. I'm sorry, but almost every time she spoke, it was an assault to my ears. Almost as bad as Justin Bieber. Attempted watching Lucky Star. Too many brain cells murdered. I felt too much like I was high. Will watch more of K-On! when it gets dubbed in English. I'm just not a fan of watching subbed anime. Seems pretty good, but I'll need to watch more episodes to make a full judgement. Watched an episode of Ghost in the Shell recently due to my love for its openings, especially the one for 2nd Gig. Didn't really get into it.
pspgameboy 6 Posted April 16, 2010 I haven't really been watching that many animes for awhile. Besides Bleach and Naruto(when they're not in filler mode), I've been watching some older animes that I missed like Tekkaman Blade and Revolutionary Girl Utena. I also saw a few episodes of the English Dub of Clannad on animenetwork on demand. It was alright from what I've seen so far.
HelpMeRan-Sama 141 Posted April 19, 2010 I'm obsessed with Hetalia now 8D
Xblade Aaron 11 Posted April 23, 2010 I actually hate Bleach now... it's mostly fillers and as far as abilities are concerned, Ichigo should have died every bloody time, but NOOOOOOOO, he just happened to get flukey, and it's the same old *bankai* - get ass kicked - *believes in the heart of the cards* - oh look I'm awesome now - KO's bad guy through no effort - the end. It was intriguing to start ut it gets boring Naruto still rocks, have you guys watched the new shippuuden movie?? <3 Soul Eater needs to return like FMA: brotherhood, focus more on the manga's story
X 1 Posted April 28, 2010 8D. LOL. This one's funny. -- It just like came out tho. o-o; http://www.animefreak.tv/watch/ichiban-ushiro-no-daimaou-episode-1-online It Kind of has a girl that resembles Aqua just a tinyyy bit (or at least to me she does. ) ... Which is really what made me keep watching it. 8D. <33 I love that anime 8D When i first saw it i was like: "Wtf Aqua? D:" Also my fav anime is D.Gray-Man, since it's so incredibly awesome and has a good plot and a lovely main character <3 Also i have finished watching Naruto, Bleach, One Piece, and Death Note and many more waiting every week for new episodes And i read a BUNCH of manga, mostly DGM~
Repliku 1 Posted April 28, 2010 I'm mostly a Manga person... I've watched at least one episode of Bleach. Most of Death Note... all of the Naruto eps (none of shippuden, and I don't plan to), and about 10 One Piece episodes. I definately prefer the manga for One Piece, up to volume 25... I know, I know... I need to catch up, to flipping 40 something. I also enjoy Full Metal Alchemist, currently my favorite manga (though only at Vol. 6 right now). I also like Elemental Gelade (the Manga is waaaay better than the Anime. Only one episode in the anime I like so far). And I also recently picked up Fairy Tail, which I am liking so far. after 4 volumes. I got others, just not into them right now. I might go back and read them sometime... Reversal 53 Posted April 29, 2010 I normally get into an anime first, and then I'll read the corresponding manga just for kicks. Currently keeping up with Naruto (don't ask, I don't know why myself), Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's, and the Pokemon Adventures manga.
Giginha 22 Posted April 29, 2010 Now I'm watchign an anime called Lucky Star, I like it but the story is pretty stupid and it's old as well (don't ask why I like it)
HelpMeRan-Sama 141 Posted April 30, 2010 Now I'm watchign an anime called Lucky Star, I like it but the story is pretty stupid and it's old as well (don't ask why I like it) cuz the characters are cute?
rho 9 Posted May 3, 2010 I fail to see why all female characters look 10 years younger than they actually are in Lucky Star Found some crappy English dub of K-ON! that was made in Singapore. Sounds like they used two people to do all the voices, because they all sound the same AND THEY YELL LIKE IT'S A BILLY MAYS COMMERCIAL FUNimation should definitely dub it for North America
Protoman 1,974 Posted May 4, 2010 I've watched some anime. My first ever one I watched when I was really young was either Sailor Moon or Pokemon, I don't remember. I stopped watching Bleach after a while, it kinda ticked off that... *insert spoiler here* Naruto- Meh, I never really liked it a lot, and I'm not into it now. Death Note- Death Note was pretty good. It became worse after episode 26 though, and there was some plot holes here and there. Obviously not the best, but it occupied me and interested me. One Piece- Never watched it. I Like FMA (I'm watching brotherhood first.) Higurashi (I would put a whole paragraph here on why, but I don't feel like it) Soul Eater (Not finished) Black Cat D Gray Man (Not Finished) and some more that I can't think of at the top of my head ATM
Koko 3,944 Posted May 5, 2010 Now I'm watchign an anime called Lucky Star, I like it but the story is pretty stupid and it's old as well (don't ask why I like it) ahhh Lucky Star <3333 its amazing the ending was awesome
rho 9 Posted May 5, 2010 FUNimation seems to have only put the first 6 dubbed episodes of Soul Eater online and that makes me sadface And I'm not paying $50+ for a DVD
Kuroishii 5 Posted May 23, 2010 Watched two episodes of Naruto. Didn't like it. Watched Death Note. LOVED IT TO BITS. ? Watched about 100 episodes of Bleach. Liked it, but couldn't be bothered to watch more. Have never been interested in One Piece. Vampire Knight, Kuroshitsuji, Ouran... Those are some good ones. <33 c:

nchammer326 0 Posted May 25, 2010 I don't watch a ton of anime (I'm more of a manga person), but I absolutely love Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei. Dark comedy at its finest. Also, FLCL anyone?

rho 9 Posted June 20, 2010 I'm up to Episode 30 of the English dub of Soul Eater. I haven't watched very many anime (the only season I've completed has been the first season of Haruhi, which was decent), but this is just awesome. Perfect blend of action and comedy. I certainly hope it was the third anime Adult Swim acquired (they had announced they got 3 new anime - one was FMA Brotherhood, the other was Kekkaishi, and the third which premieres in September is TBA.). It'd fit like a glove on the block, and if they promoted it well (like showing the "From the studio that brought you Fullmetal Alchemist and Cowboy Bebop" thing FUNi used to promote the series), it could get really good ratings. Plus, there'd be enough episodes by Halloween that there could be a mini-marathon on Halloween night. I just hope if they don't get it, someone like SyFy or a non-kids/family network gets it. If a kids/family network got it, it would be butchered and edited to death (no pun intended). The blood, which there's a lot of in almost every episode, would be edited out. The swearing would be replaced (probably by facepalm-inducing replacements like in Cartoon Network's airing of Total Drama Island), and Lord Death and Death City would probably be Lord Sleep and Sleep City. -shudder- Also been watching Kekkaishi, Bleach, and Cowboy Bebop on [AS]. Kekkaishi is decent but really doesn't need to be on Adult Swim, and could have easily aired alongside Generator Rex and Star Wars on Cartoon Network. Bleach is kind of "meh" but the opening is awesome. Cowboy Bebop is pretty good. I'd put it in my top 3 so far.
CodedbyDays 12 Posted September 13, 2010 Actually useful thread revival yay. A few EXTREMELY underrated anime that I love: Rainbow Nisha Rokubou no Shichinin. The content is...explicit to say the least. But seriously, I can't stress how underrated this show is. If you can be mature about it, then watch it. Baccano! Yeah, this has to be the least watched anime out there that should be considered a classic. I'm not done with it, but it's amazing so far. And is it bad that I consider Monster to be an absolute masterpiece when I'm only a few episodes in? Oh well. Watch it. Yep, that's pretty much it.
