Okay, now I wanna start with Fennikin.....

 

 

Also, they should give ash froakie first. 'Bout time he has a water starter that can evolve!!!!

Speaking of Chespin's final evo...it literally has Bowser's shell on it's back.....I'm not kidding.....it's like a thinner version of Bowser

 

I hope that means it'll be good for tanking and can learn shell Smash

Appearance: not my favorite. Fenikin's final evo has a disproportionate head to the ear flame and body, making it look kinda ridiculous to thinkof it as a psychic type, IMO, but whatever. That's my only quirk. Chespin's final is... Intresting. Seems more gen5 ish in design, like a grass type of that generation in the sprite, and reminds me of a large knight's armor, like in FE:A that had that one knight with the oversized armor, and makes him look a little to big on top; I almost expect it to fall down at any second. Froakie's final is... Decent. It has the same issue with disproportional parts like the others with the way the toung is done to look like an oversized scarf, as attempt to make him look like a bamf, which backfires in a big way. If they fixed the proportions the designs wouldn't be so bad visually. For a visual score, this group gets a 3/10, Chespin in the middle, Fenikin at the end, Froakie at the top, and ending in a equal score of three.Combatitive-wise, they look very good. Some if the attacks look intresting, and almost like signature attacks: something starters normally lack completely. The pools look from what we see, and make me interested in their stats and individual specialtys that make them Gen Six pokemon and actually envoke a spark of intrigue and churiosity in me;most pokemon don't do that for me in the begining, even starters, so for that alone I give them an overall 7.5 out of 10 in the combat ability I've seen thus far.Overall: 5/10 for total combined score. I know it seems superficial to like. Pokemon on its appearance alone, but we don't bond as trainers to the stats and numbers by themselves-the visual aspect of the pokemon is important to a bonding in game. People may think that bonding with pokemon is stupid, but who cares? We do what we want as trainers. So take in the visual when rating a Pokemon as well! Once I have the ability to play with them myself, I will revise my ratings and post subsequently afterward!

Let's think about the Anime. What pokemon do you suppose Ash might get first?

I do not pay much attention to the Anime, but I am guessing that he will probably choose a Chespin, which will be disappointing to me. To me, Chespin has a very ugly design that looks like it is supposed to be cute, yet it fails to be. What I am hoping for, though, is that he will choose a Froakie.

The early birds at Nintendo World had to leave because they weren't allowed to camp out till next Wednesday. Sucks to be them, no one will give a shit who's first once release date comes and leaves.

 I was talkin.g overall first impressions, and from the leak images where we have a few of the moves showen, I'm making a few assumptions about it based off of other Pokemon and giving it my thoughts. This is just my first.impression.

I was just talking about the bond to appease people who would get angry at me for judging the Pokemon on appearance. If you noticed, I judged what I can thus far and so this is my thoughts do far. I'm an artist, so visual representation also hits home with me, so I focus on it a lot more.

The theme Matsuda is using was not that. The theme was RPG classes such as Mage, Rogue and Paladin/Knight/Warrior. Fennekin is Mage, Froakie is a Rogue, and Chespin is a Knight. Sure the names come from something else but this was the main theme. It's even confirmed.

I also want to say that Rogue ≠ Ninja. Yeah they both are stealthy people but they are really different in terms of fighting and attire. Think of Rogues as an Assassin.

Pokémon X has an 88 on Metacritic and Pokémon Y has an 89. Its like 1 point above Pokémon Black and White.
