The 3DS costs a ton here, so I have to wait for years til I grow up and go to a job or something ._. Unless your willing to pay me

Glad to see all the legendaries won't be spoiled the second the game comes out since the 3DS is (currently) unhacked. And even if the 3DS is hacked by then, since the 3DS allows for DLC, event legendaries won't necessarily be stored on the cart. There could be completely new Pokemon coming out for these games for their lifespans.

Congrats Nintendo, you just claimed $80 dollars from me. Usually I only get one pokemon game for each generation, but since the style is so new and the differences will probably be more drastic as far as gameplay goes, I will be getting both. After 15 years since Gen 1 came out in NA, a full 3D pokemon adventure at last. Good way to start off my day

Pokemon isnt exactly the most popular game franchise you know and Idk none of my friends speak of it no really their thing either I guess, I do know that I see pokemon at like Gamestop and what not but I dont really pay attention to the details of the box to see which game it is sooooooo yea the only last one I heard of was Platinum and so yeaaa apparently Im Patrick Star and I live under a rock !

OH MY BOB. SO READY. Anyways, this game looks amazing. Eyegasmic. We finally get the 3d, and EVERTHING is 3d, for that matter. That's just awesome. The starters, holy crap. I am so ready to be leafin things up with chespin, heatin things up with fennekin, and soggin things up with froakie. Also, if you look at the trailers, you can see the starter's moves. If you look, chespin clearly uses night slash, fennekin uses a psychic type, and froakie is possible doing a fighting type, leading me to believe that them, or their Evoutions will be Grass/Dark, Fire/Psychic, and Water/Fight! You know what that means? It's a double triangle! Grass is good against water, but at the same time, Fighting is good against Dark! Fire is good against Grass, but Dark is good against Psychic! Water is good against Fire, but Psychic is good against Fighting! That means that EVERY STARTER IS NEUTRAL AGAINST EACH OTHER. That is so different, and awesome! The legendary pokemon also quite INSANE. DAT BIRD. DAT DEER.

X and Y aren't just "letters". They're referring to the x-and-y-axes on a grid, showing how it's the first 3D title in the series.Also, I wonder how many people are butthurt about no RS remakes.

I'm actually having a hard time choosing which starter to pick they all look great but I'm leaning towards Fennekin mainly because I like foxes and since I normally choose a water starter it'd be a nice change of pace. I'm also fond of the legendaries especially the deer one that looks like that deer from Princess Mowhatyacallit, the setting also has a French theme which is fantastic, as far as the story goes the X and Y  might represent chromosomes  and the Japanese logos feature DNA double helix , so it might have a sciencey sci-fi feel to it.

Almost everyone I know (and even those I DON'T know- personally, at least) is choosing Fennekin. It's annoying how it's so popular over the other two, especially 'cause I like it as well and everyone is just obsessing over it. But I digress...

Game looks amazing, gonna get X with my own money then Y for Christmas. Love the legendaries so much.

X and Y almost definitely represent the DNA/chromosomes, as there's a double helix in the Japanese logo. My guess is that the opposing team will be called Team Helix or something along those lines. Maybe a Light type will be introduced and that'll be the legends? The bird could be Dark/??? and the deer could be Light/???.

 

Annoyed we didn't get an RS remake, but I can wait for it. Especially if it turns up 3D. Such an awesome game deserves the good graphics. Besides, I've been wanting a new gen for a while now (got rather sick of Unova, however good it is), so it was a nice surprise.

Possible there could be trainer customisation due to those glasses that appear on and off the male trainer at various points in the trailer, but at the same time it could be something similar to those goggles you wear in the desert in RS, aka no customisable.

Holy Arceus, these look great! I still need to see more to get really hyped, but color me very interested (well its Pokemon, so I was interested any way ).

 

I really like the Y legendary, it looks pretty cool. The X legendary is kind of cool, but I'll be taking Y.
