"I was the Beta Tester known as Black Icarus." She responded. Her tone grew icy. "And as it stands, this isnt your room i believe. So the owner chooses who shares the bed. And i find it rude you say you three when I am clearly present."

she fell silent, then turned her back to the others.

"I can sleep at your feet, Wolf. If that's ok. Heavy sleeper, so no worries about kicking me."

"Hacks... yeah met some of those jerks back in COD..." Ryonne said, thinking out loud. If someone managed to hack into the system here, would they be able to get out? Or would the game sense a hack, and just kill that player. Ryonne certainly wasn't going to try it himself. As they wandered through the labyrinth, Ryonne felt like somebody had been here before. There were so few monsters here. Just as Ryonne was thinking that, something swung at him. Ryonne dodged the blow just in time, but came up to realize he was eye to eye with a hobgoblin. Several in fact. He sliced his blade through it, winded up, and slashed again, killing the one that had ambushed them. "A quick switch please." Ryonne said calmly, stepping back to let Sikiro get some blood on his sword.

"Truce." She said and grinned. She then tensed when she heard the girl Elyna say Wolf was a Beta Tester also.

 

'How does she know?' Wolf thought.

Black was working on his abilities... he tried to learn to cook.. but it ended in failure. "Geez maybe one of them has the ability developved.... " He then began again to work on his potions... he wanted to make some to sell and gain some extra money for armors... but then... "Mmmm... looks like i´m low of ingredients... maybe in the town´s shop..." He said while walking out of the inn again.

 

Then he heard a group of players talking between them as they entered the inn:

"Those beta players. They are just a group of jerks trying to act cool" "Right, those people have not place in this game"

 

Black heard each word, for a moment he thought, maybe the beta testers had an advantage... but that doesn´t meant that they are safe. After all all of them were prisoners of this game. Black walked to the store talking with the NPC "Bottle of nectar: 250 guil" Black payed of the price moving with the items across the place seeing if he needed something else. Then he entered the Blacksmith shop, looking for any thing he needed as equipment. But hen he saw abisk entered the back part of the shop. " H.. Hey ab..." Black was muttering but then a NPC appearing blocking the path. "If you want to enter you need to pay... how about 300 Guil?" ... Black checked his account but then he realized... " I can´t pay for it... Geez..." [ But what is Abisk doing here? Maybe another Beta Tester knowledge? Mmmm] Black then waited while looking around.

Elyna gave a pouty face staring at Aether "I didn't say your name because your on the other side of Wolf were the bed ends you dope, humph" said Elyna as she got off the bed picking up Ray her dragon & walked over to the door "I'm getting a drink of water" said Elyna annoyed at Aether for not understanding. Elyna walked out of Wolf's room closing the door behind her. Elyna was walking down the inn's hall looking at the floor a bit sad when she pumped into the group of players that were talking nothing nice about the beat testers "Hey watch were your going girl...wait your that beta tester "The Dragon Striker' aren't you? Hey guys have a look at this beta tester, HAHAHA you have such crappy pajamas on, HAHAHA & I bet your not so tough without your dragon are you?" said one of the players as he grabbed Ray from her arms starting to choke it's neck "Hey stop hurting Ray! AHHH!" yelled Elyna as she was kick to the floor. Then Elyna started to cry a bit until all of a sudden her tears stopped & she stood up off the floor showing a little grin, Elyna then looked at the player choking Ray with Yellow eyes & quickly grabbed his hand that was choking Ray twisting it which released Ray, Ray quickly coiled up around Elyna's body "AARRGGHH!!" yelled the player in pain "How about we have a little duel? winner takes all the others items" said Elyna all calm & creepy like "Grr, alright then, your on, but this will be a 3 on 1 duel?" said the player "Hee hee, follow me then, I have the perfect place for the duel" said Elyna as she lead them outside of the inn heading outside one of the gates of the town, which was outside the safe zone.

 

They soon make it outside the safe zone not far into the forest just outside one of the towns gates, it was dark & fogy "With 3 on 1 we can't lose, you are so dumb to have challenged us beta tester!" yelled one of the players. Elyna gave a evil grin "Your the only fools here, first let me show you my Ray" said Elyna as the players noticed that her dragon was no longer on her body, it must have slipped away into the forest. Then all of a sudden within the dark fogy forest of night a big massive shadowy looking dragon could faintly be seen in the dark with red eyes glowing staring at the players. After a little while the players were defeated with their life on red health "Y-your not 'The Dragon Striker' who are you?" said one of the players "My name is Abisk" said Elyna as the shadowy dragon then shot a burst of fire at them all possibly killing them. Elyna's eyes soon returned back to her normal brown coloured eyes "Uh, Wh...what's doing on here? why i'm I outside? I better head back to the inn, Ray were are you?!!" yelled Elyna. Ray soon come out from within the forest & coiled up around Elyna's body "Lets get back to the inn" said Elyna as she then begun to walk back to the inn. Elyna blushed when she noticed her pajamas were all torn up "I better change into my clothes & brown cloak for now, don't want any boys seeing me like this" said Elyna as she equipped her clothes on quickly.

"So one Beta comes at us and nearly dose us in, and another comes to finish us!? Do you have such little shame!?" He, the leader yelled. "Oi, I never did nothing. I come here in peace." Abisk replied, removing his swords and placing them on the ground as a sign of peace. "What happened here?" He asked."A beta tester found us in the inn, the dirty Tester challenged us to a three on one, but in the end the Tester beat us all, her, and her dragon..." Abisk's ears perked up at the word of a dragon. "Female, highly-attractive build, powerful, long Astrial dragon named "Ray"?" He asked, the players nodded. "What was her name?" The leader spoke up. "I had thought she was known as the Tester "Dragon Striker", but she was far more powerful, stating she was "Abisk", the top-ranked tester, the "Silent Swordsman"." He replied. Abisk was taken aback. Making his fist as tight as possible, he told them the truth. "I am Abisk, rank five in the Beta. Silent Swordsman. Former Beta Tester. Rapure-one-handed strait sword dual-wielding style. "The Black Hammer."." His Smithsman Title, unique and known by few. The leader looked Abisk in the eye. "I only know this: the real Abisk is a highly-compitant swordsman. You don't look like one, to me." He replied. Abisk only three him a potion, picked up his swords, and said "Drink, then duel."Moments later, the duel was over. The leader's sword was destroyed due to Abisk's Parry skill being decently leveled by the fighting to now, and Abisk used a Sword Skill that destroyed weapons. With a sword at his neck, the leader accepted defeat, taking no damage but knowing he wad completely outmatched. "Okay, with skill like that, you must be Abisk. Your still a dirty Tester though." Abisk only smirked, handing the leader a little Gil and enough food and healing potions to last them for a few day's, walking away.Upon returning, Abisk was even more convinced of it. "Skilled enough to be able to appear like me, the barely-alive players stripped of most of their stuff... It's becoming more likely she is both "Dragon Striker" and "Hollow Death"." Abisk thought, with fear on his face plain as day, he barely bumpped into Elyna. "S-sorry." He muttered, rushing past her, he made it to the girl's room. "Aether, Kei, Wolf, get out of there, I don't think its safe to be here anymore, we gotta move." He whispered, walking over to Vash's and Black's room, as well as Lock's door. "It's not safe anymore, at least I don't think it is, we need to move..." Kei heard Abisk tell her and the others to go outside. "Got it." She called outside the room, and changed back into her usual equipment. She walked outside, meeting Abisk outside. "What is it, anyway? It's not... her, is it?" She whispered the last part, making it obvious who she meant.

"All right, I'll go get Vash and Black. They may not have heard you." Lock then quietly went to go get Black, but couldn't find him. He then went to Vash's room, and found him fast asleep. He softly shook him a little to wake him up, "Hey Vash, time to go."

If I leave them... I loose them as friends and allies..." He thought, walking to the inn. "I wish I could sleep..." He thought. "I guess I should go hunting, try mastering the One Handed Strait Sword as fast as I can..." He thought, walking to the forest to see the players from earlier, nearly defeated to the point death would come from a single swipe from a level one player. "Oi! What happened to you all?" He asked, walking up to them, they stood and drew their swords, the only equipment they had left besides their clothing. "So one Beta comes at us and nearly dose us in, and another comes to finish us!? Do you have such little shame!?" He, the leader yelled. "Oi, I never did nothing. I come here in peace." Abisk replied, removing his swords and placing them on the ground as a sign of peace. "What happened here?" He asked."A beta tester found us in the inn, the dirty Tester challenged us to a three on one, but in the end the Tester beat us all, her, and her dragon..." Abisk's ears perked up at the word of a dragon. "Female, highly-attractive build, powerful, long Astrial dragon named "Ray"?" He asked, the players nodded. "What was her name?" The leader spoke up. "I had thought she was known as the Tester "Dragon Striker", but she was far more powerful, stating she was "Abisk", the top-ranked tester, the "Silent Swordsman"." He replied. Abisk was taken aback. Making his fist as tight as possible, he told them the truth. "I am Abisk, rank five in the Beta. Silent Swordsman. Former Beta Tester. Rapure-one-handed strait sword dual-wielding style. "The Black Hammer."." His Smithsman Title, unique and known by few. The leader looked Abisk in the eye. "I only know this: the real Abisk is a highly-compitant swordsman. You don't look like one, to me." He replied. Abisk only three him a potion, picked up his swords, and said "Drink, then duel."Moments later, the duel was over. The leader's sword was destroyed due to Abisk's Parry skill being decently leveled by the fighting to now, and Abisk used a Sword Skill that destroyed weapons. With a sword at his neck, the leader accepted defeat, taking no damage but knowing he wad completely outmatched. "Okay, with skill like that, you must be Abisk. Your still a dirty Tester though." Abisk only smirked, handing the leader a little Gil and enough food and healing potions to last them for a few day's, walking away.Upon returning, Abisk was even more convinced of it. "Skilled enough to be able to appear like me, the barely-alive players stripped of most of their stuff... It's becoming more likely she is both "Dragon Striker" and "Hollow Death"." Abisk thought, with fear on his face plain as day, he barely bumpped into Elyna. "S-sorry." He muttered, rushing past her, he made it to the girl's room. "Aether, Kei, Wolf, get out of there, I don't think its safe to be here anymore, we gotta move." He whispered, walking over to Vash's and Black's room, as well as Lock's door. "It's not safe anymore, at least I don't think it is, we need to move..." He whispered into both rooms, moving back to the staircase of the inn, watching it just in case Elyna came from no-where as he hoped his friends would get up and out...( I'm so sorry for the long post everyone QwQ)

Kei heard Abisk tell her and the others to go outside. "Got it." She called outside the room, and changed back into her usual equipment. She walked outside, meeting Abisk outside. "What is it, anyway? It's not... her, is it?" She whispered the last part, making it obvious who she meant.

Vash woke up. "Uh, i can't sleep, i guess i should go out and do some grinding to tire myself out a bit." He grabbed his gear and sword and he opened his door, hitting Lock in the face and knocking him down to the ground. "Oh, sorry about that Lock, i didn't see you there!" He said sheepishly.

"Yeah... Elyna." Kei sounded mad, still blushing from being teased earlier. "I don't trust her... She apparently wants me and Abisk for some reason. I don't feel safe around her..."

 

 

Aether blushed, then carefully crawled up next to Wolf."Thanks...I guess." Was all she said.Then Abisk did his stuff and she sat up. "I was just getting comfy." She muttered, already slipping back into the antisodial solo player. "where the hell would we go then?"

Wolf changed back into her normal clothes with her two short katanas strapped behind her. She got up and followed everyone outside.

 

"Ah, so now she's killing 'ey? What's next? Her little green toy dragon turning her into the final boss with a pink tutu?" Wolf muttered sarcastically. Wolf put her hands behind her head and leaned against a wall.

Black waited like an hour, he became worried about Abisk.... but then he thought... "maybe there´s another exit from the other side? Geez... well time to move I suposse..." Black said while moving out of the shop.  As he was walking he began to think about the time in home, how he spend some time studying and then turning on his PC to play videogames.... a daily routine that lost meaning a few days ago.... 

 

"Mmm... maybe ... I´m better in this world...." he said in a sad and melancholic tone. But then his tone changed as a Beep noise came around. " Another message from the board?" Black said while checking in the news around... if the previous one was about how many deaths were counted in the little time spend there... maybe something worse would happen... and he was partially right. " Rumors about a PK appeared recently in the east forest outskirts. The rumors also talk about a creature supporting the PK... but this is unconfirmed. As the game was hacked we don´t know the magnitude of the risk so be on guard - Starting City Board"

 

Black began to think about it for a moment... the only players supported by Creatures are the beast tamers.... beast tamers... could it be.... "I need to get back!!" Black shouted as he ran towards the road leading to the Inn. "Dammit.. I forgot to add the others to the contacts!... " he said as he became closer to the inn.
