Wolf blinked and tilted her head, trying to remember what she just said. Wolf's eyes widened and she blushed as red as a tomato.

 

"I-I-I'm sorry! I didn't mean it that way! I-I meant for what happened in the other town, because you look really exhausted, and..." Wolf stumbled on her words. She didn't swing the way both of them were thinking. She was as straight as a ruler.

Wolf smiled slightly and laid back down, putting her hands behind her head.

 

"No problem. I'm always there for my friends. And I still feel sorry for being harsh to you back in the other town." Wolf said calmly, opening her menu and changing into her black tank top and black sweatpants.

Ryonne slammed his blade back into the sheath. He glanced towards Sikiro. They were both so powerful, destroying monsters that should've taken a whole raiding party in only a matter of moments. Ryonne turned the corner, and was met with the sight of a huge door. Considering it had a skull-and-crossbones designs on it, Ryonne thought it was reasonable that this was the boss room. He opened to his minimap, and saw the same icon. He clicked the save map option, and he gained a new item. The map data. They'd be able to trace their way back to town, and get back here quite easily. But this seemed almost too easy. Almost as if somebody had cleared it out only a tad before they got there, and the monsters hadn't time to regroup. Ryonne turned back to Sikiro. "Alright, are we ready to go?"

"No problem." She muttered and yawned. "I'm gonna get some rest..."

 

Wolf closed her eyes then immediately fell asleep, exhaustion finally breaking her.

Blushing again, Aether rolled a bit closer and closed her eyes, also falling asleep from exhaustion.

Ryonne slammed his blade back into the sheath. He glanced towards Sikiro. They were both so powerful, destroying monsters that should've taken a whole raiding party in only a matter of moments. Almost as if somebody had cleared it out only a tad before they got there, and the monsters hadn't time to regroup. Ryonne turned back to Sikiro. "Alright, are we ready to go?"

 

"Yes." Sikiro replied, eying the area. There were so few monsters....only a third as many as Sikiro had anticipated. Either people's reports were greatly exaggerated, or someone had cleared this area. Relatively recently--since the monsters would have eventually respawned. "Let's go send this data off, prepare, and head back here to kick some boss butt."

Ryonne nodded. He opened the menu again, and selected the map data. He posted an advertisement that said, "Boss has been located. Looking for seven or eight capped players to take it on. If interested, report to the dungeon entrance by tomorrow morning." The poster should be posted on every bulletin on the first floor. Ryonne closed the menu, and his eyes shifted to Sikiro. "Hopefully we will only get seven or eight. Too many would just be too many in the way." Ryonne said simply. He had his hand rested on the hilt of his sword. He still wasn't sure if there were going to be anymore problems with monsters, or even any other players. The player began walking back to the entrance of the dungeon.

"I don't know if any will come up." Sikiro replied, "Most of those with the will to fight are very well gone by now. The rest are either too scared to move on, or would rather stay put until the coast is officially clear. We'd both be lucky if we even got an extra person." Sikiro looked around for a moment. "Besides...some people...are scared of other players. People...from what I have seen, will take any opportunity to take advantage of others. People love to act cruelly on the internet, and I feel like in here it's even worse."

Ryonne talked, though didn't turn to face Sikiro. "No, no I don't think you're right. I'm sure plenty haven't resigned themselves to surrender yet. The real question is, how many are as skilled as we are?" Ryonne continued walking and talking, Sikiro following behind. "Granted, there is more crime and cruelty here than I'd like, but there are enough strong people who won't tolerate that. Maybe they'll set up a police force or army or something to combat that." Ryonne said, clearly not concerned with the subject of PKs, or "bullies". Maybe that was only because he had never really been the victim of such a thing. Jerks and d-bags sure, but nobody had ever really messed with Ryonne in the real world, nor the virtual one.

Sikiro nodded to him, "Maybe so. This game is a mixed bag. Killers, cowards, and those brave enough to forge on. But I'm fine if we can at least get an extra person. Heck, I'm sure we can beat the boss on our own. We've got a book made by the beta-testers on its strategy." Sikiro opened his menu and selected the inventory option, and selecting the book. The small pamphlet materialized in his palm, and he showed it to Ryonne.

Wow.......Well, i think we probably should do a few more sidequests and grind a little while longer before we go up against it. We can't be careless with this. Not to mention, is it safe to go to the boss room with a Psycho chick following us? What if she finds us while we're fighting the boss and while we're busy trying to survive, she hinders us and we get killed? We should wait a bit. What do you think Abisk?"

 

(So, did we remove Elyna from our party already? I mean, if we didnt, she can find out where we're located. )

"That dosent make any sense..." Abisk muttered. "How in hell did they clear the dungeon out already? Unless the somewhere near fifty people were able to make it over to the last town by now, then... How...?" Abisk muttered to himself. "I say we finish up here, stay for a night, then early morning we start a long walk to the town just before the last one. Ittl be a long trip, so we need to stock up and get good equipment first."

Ryonne nodded to the pamphlet. He took out his own guide, and flipped through the pages. "Yes, the guide is certainly helpful. Gives us a lot of information on the boss. But we never know, the coding could be different from the beta, or the attacks could hit much harder than we're prepared for. In any case, at least a few more people wouldn't hurt." Ryonne finished his counterargument. He found himself at the dungeon entrance. He nodded back at Sikiro, and exited the dungeon. Ryonne stepped back into the virtual daylight of the world, and spotted a girl just outside the dungeon.

"You guys practically took longer than I did." The girl stated as fact. Ryonne instinctively drew his sword.

"Who are you? And what do you mean took longer?" He asked.

"Me? Oh, I'm Mes. And I mean, I was the one who went through the dungeon first and made it all easy for you guys." Mes replied easily, not reacting to the drawn blade at all.

Sikiro kept his hand near his hilt, eying the girl who had just stepped before them. Strangely pompous, she came in and declared herself as the one who had cleared the dungeon herself, without the help of anyone else. Well, this girl is certainly interesting.

"Have you defeated the boss as of yet? The enemies here were no match for us two, and wouldn't have been much of a problem even if they were all there. If you haven't beaten the boss, why not come with us? You can leave afterwards, we just need a few extras to help clear this floor."

Mes smiled at Sikiro. "I'd be honored to help." Mes said, smirking. It almost seemed as if she was hiding something, but what could it be? Ryonne nodded to the newcomer. "Good to have you. I am Ryonne. We'll head back to the town, stay the night, then come back here tomorrow morning to see if anyone else is going to help." Ryonne told Mes the plan. She nodded casually, having no objections to continuing forward with the plan. Mes turned back to Sikiro. "And your name is?" She asked him innocently.

"Sikiro." He replied, giving Mes a simple nod. The boy began to walk behind the two others, letting them chat it out. Sikiro wasn't truly the talkative type-- he was honestly amazed he had kept it up this long. But with a third member, hopefully he didn't need to talk as much for the moment. Which as completely fine by him.

Sikiro looked up at the sky, letting out a sigh. Above them was ninety-nine more floors, all of them far more difficult than this one. He had heard though, that many levels were peaceful, and some even had wonderful places to live in.

Elyna, Alex & the 4 green players were in the dungeon already & had been defeating enemies throughout the place until they reached the rare item they were looking for "That went quicker than I thought but we did it, I have to admit it..if you didn't have that unique skill of yours Elyna we'd be dead already, hahaha!" laughed Alex out loud. Elyna gave a pouty face which was hidden by her mask "hmph..Shut up, Lets just get out of here already" said Elyna feeling a bit underestimated "I got the rare item & you got it wrong again Alex...the rare item was for only beast tamers, that part you got right but the item itself is not for me but for Ray" said Elyna "Let me see that item?" said Alex as he walked over to see it "Oh I see..it's beast armour. Beast armour is only for those beast tamer class's, lucky we found it, now Ray will be able to withstand more physical attacks & the best part about the armour is it's able to expand to whatever size Ray grows into, it's to bad Ray's not a fully adult sized dragon yet" said Alex, Ray just then popped his head out from Elyna's brown cloak hissing at Alex before hiding back in the brown cloak.

 

Alex backed off a bit right before he got got the bulletin about the boss floor "Well, well, looks like we're in luck today. You guys wanna fight the boss?" said Alex to the 4 green players "N-no way man!" said one "we're not that stupid" said another "We're not gonna risk our lives...besides, other players will do it for us instead" said another right before they left Alex & Elyna all alone. Elyna heard what the 4 green players said & felt so angry with them she yelled at them "YOU COWARDS!! DON'T YOU KNOW IF WE ALL WORK TOGETHER WE CAN ESCAPE THIS WORLD EVEN FASTER!!!" the group of green players just ignored her words as they set off into the distance "Darn those idiots, Hey Alex! Lets get a move on, I need to reach the dungeon entrance by tomorrow morning. I have a feeling I might met with a few friends when I get there, hee hee" said Elyna smiling underneath her mask before they headed off to the location.

(Getting there in two days is near impossible. You were in The Town of Beginings again, from there it would be at least a three day trek to the town near the Dungeon. Yes, I know this, its easy to tell. If it took Kirito one day to get to the next town, then making it all the way past three towns would take three days, naturally. Unless of course your characters abandon rest, but then its a day and a half, and you'll be all tired from doing that all.) Edited January 22, 2014 by Guest
