Mr. Abyss (bb) 0 Posted June 15, 2010 For some reason i'm always disappointed with the final bosses in games, with Kingdom Hearts 1 & 2 included.I mean don't get me wrong,I love the whole KH series,(obviously,or i wouldn't be here lol),but Ansem and Xemnas are just pushovers.I know SE can't make em too hard or people would give up without beatin the game, but I personally would be pleased with a Sephiroth-leveled opponent.I mean that's why they call it a FINAL boss.Anyone else agree? There's the possibility that you may have been over-leveled when you fought them. As far as I know, no one else has ever complained about Ansem's difficulty anyway. Xemnas was disappointing though. But then again, KH2 as a whole was too easy. No wonder they added critical mode to FM+ :I
Amon 4,279 Posted June 15, 2010 It is easy but I'd rather have an easy boss than not being able to progress through the story
Space Cowboy 1,392 Posted June 15, 2010 Quote It is easy but I'd rather have an easy boss than not being able to progress through the story Agreed. I wouldn't want my bosses to be like the Lingering Sentiment or Sephiroth because that would be too challenging. I think Square knows that the bosses are easy (actually some aren't, like Xaldin) so they added the secret and optional bosses to feed your hunger for difficulty. Zenithia 305 Posted June 15, 2010 So long as you're able to choose the settings like normal, proud and critical modes. For me if a game is on one setting, but outrageously hard like FF Dissidia, then to me at least its not much fun playing for challenge or even just for fun in general. For normal I'm ok with it being a breeze for story purpose. But for proud mode even with Sephiroth I didn't notice that much of a difference. For me so far the two most challenging ones were KH1 and KHCOM. KH1 mostly because you could change what your beginning stats were around the beginning of the game with the dream weapons, and the addition of Proud mode. And then KHCOM, in which there was the whole card battle system, which I wasn't that big of a fan for. But to me KH2 and KHDays were kind of easy for me even on proud mode. I kind of wish that SE released KH2FM to have more of a challenge in critical mode. But only time will tell if that ever happens. Also, looking for a challenge in BBS and Re: coded in the future. Along, with Vanitas Sentiment and the unofficial 15th member of the organization(maybe) from the english trailer of BBS.

Just pointing out that the person in the trailer just had black coat, the Organization hadn't even been created when he was shown (if the boss follows the game story)

But just wanted to call new secret boss something so others knew what I was referring to.
