The only two that I blindlessly raged was like in August 17, 27, 30, and a lot was happening that day in my life; that is what the anger when to. Everyone was safe, assumably. However, the part of the part that if you defeat a nobody and its heartless, the orginal person can come back made the series go on. Xehanort had to come back; thus pushing the series forward. However, what may hold this series back is character development. My AP English teacher told that every character has a purpose in the book or else they would not be written (I was like duh), but what makes the book is plot and character development. Lack of Development = Bad Story. More like a domino effect. Let us see the Three Main Characters in the series: Sora: THE protagonist; THE poster child; THE golden child; never really does wrong; kind of lazy; sweet; kind; everyone loves him Riku: Sora's best friend; the strong one; the one to go the extra mile;keeps Sora in check; has self doubts but Sora always is there the reassure them; battling darkness; He has the one of the most character development in the series. Kairi: Sora and Riku's best friend, but the series does not really show it IMO. It just says they are friends and you go with it (like Trig and Pre Cal just confuscating). The way that she recieved her keyblade was pathetic. Aqua could had given her the ability to cast magic or something. The fact that they wait to the last to minute to give her development is dangerous and forceful to the plot of the series. People tend to forget her more than Xion or Namine from what I have seen. Now that Kairi is an overlap as a guardian and a light and the other 6 princesses are on the light side, could it be really 13 vs 13. OR Will there be some big plot twist that will be the advantage to the light side OR There just has to be 7 light and 13 darkness. This series seems to be set on Sora and Riku. Plus she has not given us a reason to care for her. Unlike Riku who has the most beautiful character development, Kairi has none because she does not need it. It is not her character. That is why I don't like the fact that she received a keyblade. It was totally unnecessary. She should not have been a fighter. She is stated as a friend but never develops on her friendship with Sora and Riku. She is just a friend who seems to care for Sora more than Riku. I'd rather just save her because that is her role. Some people ask if she could be like Serah in FFXIII-2. No, she can't because that is not her character. Let her just be that girl who is a PoH that is a friend. I mean Sora and Riku have a well developed friendship that players love. As far as looks, she looks odd especially in Kh2 and not cute whatsoever in BBS. sora was the cutest in BBS. Naminè, Xion, Aqua,looks better than her. Yes. Honestly I have no issues with if you like or dislike her . People have their opinions . It's when you get so worked up and upset with the idea that people do think she has value and do want her to succeed is where i find it amusing . ( not saying either that im referring to just you on that ) Kairi's character has importance but people don't see it bc shes not some huge physical warrior yet . She doesn't need to be either thb. I do think nomura has neglected the character some( especially in KH2 and I agree about how they handled her getting the keyblade in KH2) but KH3 might be that chance to change this for her so i'm witholding my opinion on that till that time comes .I don't think thats forced at all. It's just that since KH2 came out there hasn't been a chance for her to utilize her new keyblade . She wasn't gonna take the MoM in DDD - she wasn't ready yet. Nows the time to finally see if she gets the chance to do something like she said she wanted to do. That status brings back such fond memories of when Dev made a Kairi love thread in response There's nothing wrong with having an opinion over Kairi- but yours have been extremely negative whether you intend them to or not Just a thought you might want to consider .
