KH13 New Years Resolutions

Well, 2013's almost over. Just a few more weeks, and we'll be a year closer to KHIII in 2014. So, a lot of people try to think of things they want to do differently in the next year, like exercise more often, or read more, or stuff like that. Do you guys have anything you want to try to do more often here on the site? Just asking, because I kinda had a thing in mind, and thought it'd be easier to hold myself to it if I wrote it somewhere. It can be anything, from writing more, or drawing, or stuff like that. So, here I go!

 

I want to be on the site's chat more often. I'm kinda nervous when it comes to talking to people, so I'm only on chat once every few months or so. I've gotta get over that at some point, right? Besides, when I do go on, I have a lot of fun most of the time. Anyone else have anything they want to do differently?

 

EDIT: I also feel like I should write more. I always start things, but never finish them.

I don't believe in New Years Resolutions bc I believe everyone should constantly work at being a better person and doing things better every day regardless. It's how we grow as a person.

I never really do anything with resolutions or anything, it just seems like I've been thinking a lot about doing different things on the site, and thought that it'd be a good way to ask others if they have any ideas too.

 This wasn't a slam on you or anything . It's just how I view resolutions.  But if you want to change how your experience is here , pick something you enjoy to focus on and work from there. Most people just make resolutions yet don't even keep to them . I say work hard every day to be what you want to be or do what you want to do

Actually finish my stories. 

Since my main resolution is to get out more, I may disappear every now and then.

My resolution is 1366 x 768 1.5 HD.

 

Also, I totally relate with the "I always start things, but never finish them."  It's because the human brain craves knowledge, so it can easily become bored.  It's okay, but it's just discipline.  Finishing a story is an awesome feeling by the way!  It's like you created something and gave it purpose, your baby! x]

Things I wanna do next year...mmmmmm???

 

 

Playing Smash Bros 4 non stop when it comes out......more time spent on Pokemon.......trying to finish the Final Fantasy games that I haven't finished yet....finish KH2 another 10 times when I get KH 2.5 .....playing Mario Kart 8 with my two brothers non stop........finding a job....being a better person......destroy another copy of Sonic 06 for stress relief.....yeah,lot's of things to do

I resolve to post more essay-length musings/analysis about stuff, usually KH related, that only a small but dedicated handful of members will read in depth (because most people no longer have the patience to read more than 150 characters at a time).

I already spend way too much time on here But I guess to get some people to actually read my work. My short stories thread and Paopu and I's current story have very few reads. And maybe I'll work up the courage to post a couple of my completed novels, but I'm generally way too nervous to post that kind of thing. Novels are kinda like a piece of your soul--you dedicate hours and hours of time to them, and you just fall in love with your story and characters so deeply that it almost seems wrong to just share it.

Pretty much the same for me. I've barely ever used chat, despite the fact that I've been a member on this site for nearly a year. So far I don't really have any friends on here yet, and I'd like to change that.
