Technically my mother decorates the house, and we do every year, but we aren't using the tree this year since we put another sofa in the living room and doesn't fit.

 

When I have my own house I would just have one of those fiber optic trees.

Yep, I'm the one who hauls out all the decoration boxes and puts everything up. Except the lights. My dad insists on doing it every year.

Decorating the house is one of the best things to do for Christmas. Most of our decorations are passed down from my great-grandmother so there is always sentimental value behind every single one. It also helps to make the house seem warmer and more welcoming.

This is the first year we've gone without decorating. Usually the outside of the house is covered with lights and we have those cute light up moving polar bears and stuff, and inside we've got the tree and tons of decorations. I love Christmas decorations because they're all just so happy and make you feel awesome.
