"Making....people." Harumi murmured, momentarily digging her face into Ren's chest. She wasn't the type to seek any comfort--she as the go-getter, do-it-yourself girl who did her own thing. But recalling those memories (Plus healing wounds) had been a heavy tax on both her mind and body.

"They were making clones..replicas."

 

Ausar:

Ausar chuckled, "Poor poor you. A prototype. Thankfully I thought to install a memory bank, some way to record those memories of yours in case I need them." He sneered, closing his own eyes. "Ah yes. So that's who it is. I see. Well then." Ausar said, releasing his grip on Kirito's head. "Don't worry. That process is perfectly harmless. Though the last replica did explode rather violently."

"Replicas!?" Ren said. He couldn't belive what he heard. "But…isint that against all…" he imagined the people, people he couldn't save. All the captured them, the subjected to such tortures.

 

Kiritos memory booted up. It was in first person view. It showed peace, if only for a moment. Then the enforces came in . "We have rumors of the world partaking in the act of darkness!" The memories jumped and were hazy due to the mind wipe that the scientist had done. There were flashes of women, men, and children being slaughtered, or taken away. A woman, possibly his mother hugged him before being dragged away. All seemed to turn for the worse, until a girl appeared, taking out the enforcers. There was also a boy in a robe. Kirito was being dragged away, but a flash, a blast hit the armored figure. The girl saved him. Then words flashed on the screen. PAY HER BACK. Then it went black.

Lyon: "Yes, yes it will." Lyon agreed, jumping back down to the street, still gazing up at the message. If the Rebels they had just caught were loose again, and were mad enough to put up that message, nothing could have gone well. Lyon couldn't help but feel that this time, the Rebels wouldn't be so easy to catch. They'd be smarter with their movements. Granted, Port Royal had been a substantial loss, and it would take weeks to reclaim the world back from the drunks and pirates that lived there. However, with their subsequent capture, they wouldn't have been able to make much more progress. Now though, they would probably attack smaller areas, and move faster. Lyon turned back to Horizon. "What should we do now?"

Taking in Harumi's words, I don't have time to react as Severa appears and falls to her knees, sobbing. She must've found out about Ryonne already.

 

I look down at her, not knowing what to say. I've never lost anyone that was as close to me as he was to her, so I have no way of knowing her pain. I don't want to say the wrong thing and upset her either.

 

"Severa, I'm- I'm so sorry." It's not comforting at all, and probably not the right thing to say- but it's all I can manage.

 

Everything's becoming so complicated: our comrades our dying, the Enforcers refuse to give in, and it turns out the Enforcers are creating replicas of people- their entire organization is getting worse by the day. Just what is it they're ultimately after?

Severa: Severa continued weeping despite the encouraging words from Light. Her father, her home, her best friend, all of them gone. All destroyed by the same force. The Enforcers. Severa couldn't help but feel lost, and alone. Ryonne had been at her side for years now, helping her through the loss of her father, training her to become strong. Now he was gone too. That had been it. Severa felt like she couldn't go any further, without anyone to lean on for support. But no. She had to stand up. Had to keep going. For their sake if not her own. Severa pushed herself up to her feet, and wiped a tear from her eye. "I... I'm fine.  We ne..need to keep going." Severa said, stopping herself from crying any longer.

I try to give Severa a reassuring smile. "Yeah, the sooner we liberate the worlds the better," with all that's going on, I try to come up with what to say next, "so...Harumi told us the Enforcers have been making Replicas, and we have to decide on which of the smaller worlds to hit first. I proposed Wonderland, Olympus Coliseum, and Deep Jungle as they're less fortified- but I'm open to any suggestions."

A handful of old fools. The fact that they are veterans of the Keyblade War means only two things...

 

This throne is so much more comfortable than the one situated at Disney Castle. I wonder who made it? They would make a fine addition to the institution if they haven't already been contracted. At least The Land of Departure architects got something right.

 

The commotion at Disney Castle...I wonder if the Council really knows what they are doing? Odds are the majority of them have gone senile. Still, to achieve the ultimate goal...they are so fixated on it...

 

The scouts say Horizon and Lyon are mobilizing on their own, so I will not have to assign them a formal mission. The fact that they let the rebels get away technically makes them responsible...the Council is delighted.

 

Those in the Research & Development program are starting to get ideas of their own, however...the Council is correct in spying on them at least.

 

With an organization that's made up of so many people, ideals and goals are bound to clash. So long as we achieve...nothing else matters...

"Well the was boring." Ausar mumbled, "Nothing worth saving in there. Might as well as keep that junk...may come useful to me at some point." Ausar walked back to his lab table, leaving the dazed Kirito where he was.

 

Harumi:

Harumi grunted and pushed herself away from Ren, ultimately standing up and wiping her face, "Don't think I'll do that again, baka." She said, referencing the fact she had needed the momentary comfort. She was strangely better now, standing up straight and starting to fall back into her usual self. "I want to go anywhere that isn't here."

 

Horizon:

"Hmm." Horizon hummed, his eyes lowering for a moment, "I get the feeling that the one who caused this...abrupt message...is no longer here. Not in this world, at least. I would recommend remaining on our guards...perhaps patrol the area and see if anything comes up. Or, we can wait. The perpetrator is gone, and not much can be done unless we can trace which Corridor they took."

"Hopefully it won't be to much of a task." Nova was still young and he didn't want to get hurt or even worse die like the some of others. He would try his best to protect the his friends with the best of his ability.

"Okay, let's go then!" Extending my hand, I open up a Corridor of Darkness and step through it- the others surely following behind. Wonderland...what surprises are sure to await?

 

As if answering my question, I realize we're all packed into a room that's far too small! "Guys, someone find the bottle that shrinks you so we can properly go around this world!" I've been here before so I know of it, but I'm stuck in a corner of the room so I can't reach it.

Hm? Ah! It would appear the monthly report has arrived, now...huh. Well that will not stand, my approval rating has dropped by eighty percent!

 

It would seem the troops prefer a leader that leads by example. Very well, then lead them I shall...must...will...whatever.

 

But where to go? Enchanted Dominion is a war zone, so odds are my feats would go unnoticed amidst all the chaos. There is...no, not there. So where then...Lyon and Horizon!

 

Of course! They did fail to carry out their orders, and allowed the...to escape, so it only makes sense that someone would be sent to oversee them this time! ...okay, it probably does not make sense that the leader of the Enforcers be sent out, but I can simply say we were short on people and that the Council...

 

Speak of the old coots, now they're...excellent!

 

Our scouts said the Captains were in Disney Town, so this Corridor of Light should lead me straight to them.

 

Yep, there they are; outside a house.

 

"Captain Umzaki, Captain Fallo: it would appear you have failed to carry out the executions that I assigned you. What's more, you let the accused get away. The Council is rather frustrated by this turn of events, and insists that I come along with you both to ensure that the executions are carried out this time."

((We're the rebels facing off against the Enforcers, we fought 'em at Port Royal, but lost and got captured, but now escaped and are at Wonderland! ^^ Your character can be someone who was at Wonderland before us, but now that we're here you wanna join up with us or something ))

(For your new Enforcer character, perhaps he can join with Alyssa, Horizon (My Enforcer), and Lyon (Yuffie's enforcer) to go locate the rebels and torment the shipping between Horizon and Lyon.)

"Wait a moment, the executions were assigned to us? If that was so, I think clearer directions would have been in order." Lyon said. Her voice had a tinge of attitude, but hopefully not enough to get her in trouble. "In any case, we should get to tracking down the Rebels." She said. The Enforcer, closed her eyes, and channeled light through them. Opening them again, she was able to spot the remaining aura of a dark corridor on the roof of the castle. She read it's destination, and found it was meant to go to Traverse Town. "Found them." She muttered, turning back to regular vision. Lyon opened her palm again, and opened a light portal to Traverse Town.

Severa nodded in agreement as they decided to go to Wonderland. "Wonderland. That's crazy weird upside down place isn't it?" She muttered to herself, before walking through the Dark Corridor Light had made for them. She found herself in a rather odd room. "Quite the place so far." Severa said, turning in a circle.

A knock was heard on Ausar's lab door. Someone didn't wait for an answer, and opened the door anyway. The figure walked past the still confused Kirito, and stood next to the Doctor. "I believe I was supposed to report to you for a check-up." The figure said. "Also, when I woke up, there were several dead bodies around the doorway. Is that normal for here?" The figure asked, clearly slightly confused himself. He had shaggy black hair, pointed features, and no smile. He was cloaked in blue combat robes, and held a sheath and sword by his side.

"Huh? Oh, the bodies. Yes, those happen all the time here. Trust me. Stay a few days down here and the bodies just kind of pile up. None of them are real, mind you. Well, usually." Ausar said, turning around once again to look at this newcomer. "A check-up, you say? What is it with you people and bothering my work just because your body feels funny? Goodness, I will never get finished at this rate."

 

Harumi:

"Weird place." Harumi murmured. Very weird. Wonderland, was an odd, disjointed world of crazy colors and shapes. Harumi didn't like it.

 

Horizon:

Horizon sighed. He would have remembered being assigned execution duty. If he had been he wouldn't have bothered walking with Lyon. He would surely thought of it, but duty almost always comes first. "Then...let us get this finished with." Horizon said, turning to Lyon's portal.

Daichie: *hears a scream* rushes down stairs to see his mom's bloody dead body. Next to her was his dad (young dark haired, in a trench coat) holding a bloody knife. His dad sees him, Dai sees a look of terror, his dad then leaves then BANG......Dai wakes up to see one of the kids he has been taking care of in his room *right I'm in my room at the inn, the bang probably came from the closed the door* "are you okay Tim?" Tim (young 4 year old) says,"I had a bad dream, do you get them too?" Dai sees the worry in his eyes, "yes but thinking about happy thoughts helps me get through" *anything for the little kids* Dai thinks

 

Shougo: In Lotus Forest *senses a dark portal* who could that be? shougo walks into a mushroom and disappears into a black portal

Clearer directions? They've already stepped through the portal...it would be rude of me not to follow.

 

Luckily, the Council makes me wear a bugged bracelet so that all my conversations may be monitored. Perhaps playing back our little chat from earlier will jog their memories.

 

Traverse Town...night sky...bleh. Oh, but I seem to have rewound it far enough! Both Horizon and Lyon are right here, time to press playback.

 

"Captain Umzaki, Captain Fallo: were these orders not clear enough?"

 

'...Very well, I leave their executions to you then, Captain Fallo. Please carry them out soon, the Council warns me your strength will be needed again shortly...'

 

"...Sounded pretty clear to me." It may be that Horizon had been too busy concentrating on Lyon to hear those orders at the time...the Council is going to love that. "Perhaps Captain Fallo is hard of hearing, I do hope you will be able to support him in this endeavor."

 

Those clothes! That store over there has some interesting wardrobes in the window...Traverse Town does have a number of shops. Time to go search for some new outfits while the Captains search for their targets.

Shougo: *coming out of his own portal into the 1st district* 'where are the others?, they should be here by now

 

Daichie: "Tim, take the other kids and go to aunt serena, she'll take care of you while I'm gone. I've...*senses two portals*...go Tim NOW" Tim rushes out the room to follow his directions. Dai puts his gear on and goes out the window and onto the roof of the inn, "1st District...*he* might be there, if he is...no I'm not ready yet, two portals one light one dark, *man I wish Ren was here, he could help me out*...lets just see then" Dai uses the rooftops as cover since using a portal will draw too much attention and reaches 1st district to see a man clothed in a white robe *who is that?*

((The Land of Departure is their headquarters, Disney Castle is one of their main strongholds. Lyon sensed them in Traverse Town, so we went there to get them- but the rebels just left for Wonderland so I'm assuming Horizon and Lyon will figure out shortly that their targets are no longer in Traverse Town. Until they do, however, shopping spree! ))
