liamaru 294 Posted December 10, 2013 i always knew final fantasy and kingdom hearts shared a connection in final fantasy 13 sora's iconic drop sequence is emulated by noel kreis.in ff13-2 lightning shrouded in darkness holds out to sarah's hand in budhum (even look's like destiny islands)much like sora and riku.in ff13-2 sora's keyblade starseaker was latter implemented to be sarah's main wepon. in ff tidus wears an armlet much like terra and ventus.in ff10 tidus is a dream who lives in a dream realm version of zanarkand much like sora and riku in ddd they are in the dream realm traveling thru the dream worlds in the upcoming ff15 the portrait is replaced with moving faces kh3 has implemented this as well as the command menue style in ff13 lightning returns.in ff13-2 snow appears to look like saix and in lightning returns he strongly resembles marluxia.in kh3 the word drive has been replaced with the ex like from dissidia. 2 Master Keeper and Kaweebo reacted to this
Sora96 17,256 Posted December 10, 2013 Interesting. Tetsuya Nomura factor.

catmaster0116 2,676 Posted December 10, 2013 That man is running out of ideas. In KH he had several lookalikes running around (Sora/Vanitas, Roxas/Ventus, Kairi/Xion), and then in FF he had Lumina/Serah. That guy seriously has a thing for reusing character designs and reusing scenarios ~ I won't be surprised if he has a palette swapped Riku or Aqua in KH3 ~ Hopefully he'll redesign Lea and a couple of other characters in KH3 with new clothes and hairdo/appearance ~ But other than that, Im not complaining since I still fanboy over everyone FF/KH game
xxClouDxxmoon 901 Posted December 10, 2013 A lot of those are not really connections. Like KH and FFXV sharing the same HUD, that is just because it is Nomura making it like that. It is not really a "connection". Also characters would share the same factors as Nomura does designing for FF characters, so it is expected.
