atheist123 583 Posted December 9, 2013 After playing the BD:FF demo for 10 hours I knew that I had to buy this game. So far it has been perfect, but looking at the town restoration mission scared me. If anyone has the game and wants to trade friend codes that would be awesome.I, for one, don't want to wait 20 hours while a boulder is cleared. 1 Kurama reacted to this

Remember, with this friend code comes great responsibility, as you could summon my level 50 characters into your game :PAfter about a week I figured out that "Update Data" in the save menu can get you civilians for the town restoration mini-game. So I never had to wait 99 hours, which is good 1 Kurama reacted to this

Kurama 171 Posted January 2, 2014 Hey any Americans getting this game on Feb 7th? Now I see there is a special bundle 20 bucks more but what does it all include and is it worth getting? It's not that worth it...if you don't want the soundtrack. It comes with the game, soundtrack, AR cards, art book and a statue of Agnes (a character in the game) Also since in the UK when I pre-ordered it it came with the art book so you should see if this offer is in the shops in the U.S. If so, you should just pre-order it if you don't want the soundtrack. A few of the fights were difficult for me but when I explored all the different classes it became easier. I ended up getting to level 99 only because I wanted to max out all classes and with the Golden Egg you get insane amounts of growth. Didn't take too long to do, especially with Obliterate 1 Kurama reacted to this

I FEEL LIKE SUCH A NOOB Haha, all good Obliterate is a skill earned by the Conjurer class at level 9 which instantly kills all enemies which are 20 levels lower than you. Useful for later game grinding, mainly. Oh, I meant Growth Egg, which doubles EXP and JP. It costs 500,000 pg so its quite expensive and earned by completing the Accessory shop I think. The Golden Egg doubles money, which is also pretty important.

Jilly Shears 2,144 Posted January 19, 2014 I'm really tempted to get it since I really liked 4 Heroes of Light. Still iffy about picking it up on Day 1 or if I should wait for a price drop first, though.

I purchased it on day one, despite being rather expensive ~$65USD. Normally I don't buy new, but since this is a new IP and Square Enix nearly didn't localise it (it was only due to Nintendo that they did) I felt that supporting the game at launch was a good idea. I ended up spending 100 hours on the game, so I think it was worth the sixty bucks. 1 Setrex reacted to this

RoxSox 3,593 Posted January 31, 2014 I've been playing around with the demo a little bit, and I have to say I love the way this game feels. It has all the elements of an amazing RPG. I'll need to spend a lot more time with the demo before I really decide whether or not I want to buy the game, but so far here are some of my thoughts: Starting with some aesthetic interests, I like the art design, let me just start with that. The music sounds great. As for the gameplay though, hoo boy I love how this is shaping up. It very much has a feel of a classic Final Fantasy game, and that is amazing. Four heroes in a row, taking turns to fight the row of monsters in front of them. Beautiful. Like I said, I really need to spend a lot more time with the demo, because a lot of the elements of the fight system are still new to me... still not sure how exactly I'm supposed to take full advantage of the Brave/Default commands. First impressions are something I go by a lot, and with this game, all my first impressions are great. 2 Kurama and atheist123 reacted to this
