Raziel 248 Posted December 7, 2013 I know it won't be much of a difference if it does at all, but technically speaking, the PS4 is much more powerful when you compare the amount of graphics cores in the PS4 to the measly amount in the One, so wouldn't that mean the PS4 version is going to run smoother and or look better? The Rocky Shoe 169 Posted December 7, 2013 Only if they put the time to do that. Otherwise it would be the same. But really I can't care less and I will wait until the the devs uses the consoles to their maximum. Heck Ryse is the best looking launch console game that's out. So really IDK. Silvia Kuroi 1,480 Posted December 7, 2013 Only if they put the time to do that. Otherwise it would be the same. Pretty much this. To make it look better, they'd have to put a lot more effort into making everything look better. I doubt that, so I'm pretty sure any graphical differences will be minimal at best. However, it is possible the PS4 version may at least run better if its processors are superior.
Raziel 248 Posted December 7, 2013 It's going to be an identical experience You can't tell the future. It'll be the same experience, but there ARE games that run better on the PS3 than the 360 for the same exact reason. The PS4 has more graphics cores, so if they decide to make it look better than the One's, they'd be able to do it.
Skhyatze 165 Posted December 7, 2013 They're probably gonna look very similar and if there is a difference it will be very small and almost unnoticeable.

Columned-Munny 274 Posted December 7, 2013 I would guess that two-three years from now multiplatform games will look the same across both consoles.
Taeyeon 1,137 Posted December 7, 2013 Through my eyes between the graphics of the Xbox and Playstation, PS is always lighter where as the Xbox is a bit darker but that's just me.
MasterXemnas 2,285 Posted December 7, 2013 Fool. Maybe if you have a giant tv and use a magnifying glass, you may see a difference. The ps4 is more powerful in graphics, but not enough to merit a difference.
RoxSox 3,593 Posted December 7, 2013 There's no way of knowing that until the game is near release.
Ace326 79 Posted December 7, 2013 Since its going to be before both consoles there will be almost no difference. If there is a difference it would not be graphically. Only difference would be if they decide exclusive content and if there are issues.
Raziel 248 Posted December 7, 2013 I would guess that two-three years from now multiplatform games will look the same across both consoles. You'd guess far from the truth. The Xbox has no where near the amount of graphics cores that the PS4 has...It'd make much more sense to say over time, PS4 exclusives would start to look better and better... Since its going to be before both consoles there will be almost no difference. If there is a difference it would not be graphically. Only difference would be if they decide exclusive content and if there are issues. Funny you say this because in almost every single multi-platform game ever made there are indeed graphical differences. Not enough to notice until you actually compare the two, but they are there. For instance, the PS3 is mentioned to render GTA5 much faster than the Xbox does because of the processing power. I can list a million of these. Also we have to understand that when discussing differences we mean major differences. Im not surprised about the GTA5 rendering thing though. PS3 is a more powerful system. I have a feeling PS4 version will be the same way considering how much more power PS4 has over Xbone.
Kaweebo 3,617 Posted December 7, 2013 I get the sense that this is more of a Playstation bias thread than a question about graphics. If you already KNOW that the PS4 has better graphics, why even have this discussion? And for that matter, why ask us? We don't know what the finished product is going to look like, anyway. 2 Cucco and The Rocky Shoe reacted to this
Caity 3,946 Posted December 7, 2013 (edited) As since said, since they would have to put in the effort for it, I doubt they would double up their work load unnecessarily when they can get away with making it once and porting to both. waytothexdawnx 1,159 Posted December 7, 2013 Yeah, Ryse looks sick. Ryse is awful. Graphically it's beautiful but the gameplay is horrible. All you do is slam one button for the entire game. Basic hack n slash, but not fun. Its very disappointing because I thought it was going to be so much better.
