I'll be honest, I've been through every 'end of Youtube' there's been so far, and NONE of them has looked as bleak as this one. I'm sure it will live on, but the userbase will be severely hampered moreso than whenever they change the front page's layout. And I don't even think this will be the WORST that will happen. Eventually, YT will go into total lockdown, 1940's Germany-style. 

So recently there has been news that YouTube is making some new update or change to the site. And from the video I've seen it seems like this new update is going to kill off a lot of gaming channels. So this looks like 2014 is going to be the end of YouTube as we all know it. Because of all this stupid new update Google is going to be adding to YT.  What do you guys think?

When they changed the comment section to Google+, I think that was already the mark of the end for YouTube

Not as of now since as of right now its just reasonable levels of suspicion, and there is nothing to petition yet.

I already don't like youtube. If they do this I won't be surprised. It's not like they didn't ruin everything else before this.

I really hope this is just a rumor. I just became a brony earlier this year, and YouTube is my contingency for my lack of The Hub! Not to mention the countless fan videos...

They know about it. They've seen the countless dislikes on their google+ comments video, they've seen the countless hate comments.

I could deal with comments being changed, but this is too much. So many people who use content from games, movies, etc. will be put out of a job

Yeah I'm sad that this is even happening to YouTube. But I bet people will just move to other uploading sites like Dailymotion or Vimeo.

Yep...I would like to start the vimeo revolution so we don't have to deal with this bullshit. People are still so loyal to Youtube for whatever reason though...

Don't use Vimeo, they hate gamers. I'm personally just to going to stop uploading completely unless/until reddit's "Yourtube" project gets off the ground.
